Cake flour is lighter than regular flour. It usually comes in a box, and you can find it by the rest of the baking supplies

I like the low calorie number, but how many do you need to eat to feel full?

I don't use them to feel full. I use them at the end of the day as a sweet treat with blueberries and low fat icecream so i usually only have 2. Or I will have them as a between lunch and dinner snack by themselves and once again only have 2. It's to treat or just take the edge off hunger between meals rather than a meal in themselves.

I suppose they would make a pretty good breakfast and I think maybe 4 to 6 with a dollop of natural yoghurt would be enough and that would be about 200 to 300 calories.

Thank you for the response. I will try these this weekend.

I'm going to make the original OP's ones but using wholemeal flour instead & then filling them with chicken breast and melted cottage cheese for dinner then a lemon and honey one for dessert, can't wait
Now that's a great idea. Thanks for the ideas to vary for savoury and sweet and a great low cal meal. I'll be trying this myself.

    Cheers

    John

I'm not good with eyeballing inches when it comes to food. So how much should I pour into the pan for 1 pancake? (cup, oz, tbs, ml...) I'll be using a small frying pan since I'm making this for myself

    About 3 Tbs
