If you feel comfortable in it go for it! Personally I couldn't since my weight loss has left me with some loose skin issues in the abdomen. It would also probably be way to short on me since I am 5'9" with really long legs.

Amazing weight loss and you are beautiful but ....YOU DID ASK so....I think this is not the best style for you, however , that said who am I to judge and If you feel comfortable and sexy in it you don't need to ask us for reassurance. Finally, A pair of black tights would make it a little bit more modest and still sexy as hell. xxx

Wear this for your hubby only for now (bask in the glow that he found it alluring enough to go and buy it for you!) and as you become more comfortable you might try the suggestions of wearing tights and a shrug or other cover for your top. Take it slow and feel encouraged by your sweet hubby and if and when you become comfortable wearing this out..go for it!

PS. You may want to wear something under such as the spandex suggested to keep from experiencing "wardrobe failure".

I'm not sure how I'd look in it, but I'm willing to try anything once....

You look great in it but I wouldn't wear something that short out...someone else said about wearing opaque tights under. I might do that but I would feel very exposed otherwise. It's really up to you. If you feel comfortable , then I would. If your boyfriend likes it so much and wants you to....

Well personally I wouldn't wear it. Im very funny about what I wear. Short shorts yes, but skirts and dresses need to cover the bum! If you feel comfortable go for it! It is a lovely dress

Personally I think the original one in this thread is wayyy to revealing. I know for a fact my wife wouldn't be going out in anything like that. If your husband wants you to wear it though then meh lol.
  • You look good in it hun but defo wear tights in public

Personally i wouldn't wear that dress. Too short and not my style. However, it looks good on you but I wouldn't wear it to a public place... I'd be afraid of exposing myself.... Good luck with it.

Hmm, personally definitely not for me. Also if you wear it, tights are needed for sure.. Just way too much flesh on show for me.

I'd wear it for my hubby only! That's a little too short for me.

You look amazing! But if I know from personal experience, if you feel uncomfortable, then you are not going to be comfortable. You don't want to wear something you are going to keep pulling at. I just personally find, no matter how much people tell me something might look good, unless I feel good in it, I aint gonna end up wearing it

Your body is great, the dress is a definite NO!

That's a dress? Looks like a tube top! I think it would be ok to wear it out with black tights.
  • It is a lovely dress, and your legs look "good enough" to "get away with it". Personally I would not wear it, but I would suggest wearing thick black tights if you were to wear it. I would be so self conscious and keep pulling it down - and how on earth are you going to sit!?!??!

    Do it.

In 10 years, you'll regret not having done it at this stage.

Perhaps you will have a fun story for the rest of your life, perhaps you'll find it OK to wear that dress and be more confident in your body. Try it, and you'll know.

On your deathbed, you'll think about if with fondness and nobody will give a damn whether you did it or not, only you.

Just stand rigid and have someone push you around while you wear rollerskates and your modesty will be assured. Make sure your assistant buys you drinks with long straws so you dont have to bend or lift your arms.

Damn, girl, you look hot! You can wear that for your man, not sure you want to wear it in public, unless you're just in the mood for other people's men to follow you around drooling.

I guess if your husband escorts you with a stout club it will be okay.

That's one of those dresses that you wear at home in "role play" with your husband... not in public.

    For the bedroom it's fine

For a club, it's a little too revealing. However, adding a black skirt slip under it and some stockings, you could get away with it.

Wear this if it makes you feel sexy, that's what matters! : )

First, congratulations on your weight loss, that's awesome and you have every right to be proud of how far you have come and want to show it off.

Since you asked, in my opinion, that dress is great for a little one on one time at home with your husband for now and then when you have leaned out and firmed up more and it fits better (so you won't be tugging at it or feeling awkward or constricted), then maybe wear it out dancing.

Go for it. You wear it well and your hubby obviously thinks you look great in it, if he went to the trouble to buy it. OK, I admit its a little skimpy, but guys like their ladies to go a little wild sometimes. If you think you look good, screw what anybody else thinks.

    Totally agree.
I think you look great in it. Get some figure hugging tight bridget Jones pants to give you a bit of confidence and away you go.

All this "its too young" malarkey is a mindset not fact.

    You look fab!

my husband bought me this very revealing shirt once and i wore it out and i was sooo uncomfortable and was fidgeting etc..that it actually ruin my night out with him because i was so focus on the shirt. Wear JUST for him behind close doors or do what all the other people are saying tights.

You can always sew some lace or some kinf of material around the bottom to lengthen it a bit if you need that added security, but you do look great in it. However, dancing would most likely not be the right step in a dress like that unless you are trying to show off EVERYTHING you have! You do look fabulous though!

    You look great!

I'd wear something that short, or that bare on top, but probably not both at the same time, but that's just a personal preference.

Plus, I don't have the boobage to keep a strapless dress in place.

For a nightclub, it's fine to wear, and you do look great in it!

I myself wouldn't though as it's a bit too short for me, although I would if I had leggings or tights on underneath  I'm just the sort of person who wants to be able to move about, and sit down without worrying about giving everyone else an eyeful!
