You no longer want to even go to subway, because it doesn't seem worth the calories
Your mood directly relates to if you are under your calories for the day/have gotten your workout
You plan your life around your workouts, not your workouts around your life
You own multiple digital scales, measuring spoon and cups sets. Easier with more of them lol
You carry a water bottle everywhere you go
You seem to spend more time in workout clothes than regular clothes
Everything you want to buy is related to working out
Drinking doesn't seem worth the calories, or worth the hangover that might affect your workouts!
You splurge on workout gear but shop at garage sales and discount stores for everything else
There are many types of foods that are never bought or kept in your house
You stop going out to eat for the most part because you can't stand not knowing the exact calories0 -
When you skip drinking with friends to go to the gym!0
-
You know that semen has not only calories but nutritional value
ahahahahaha!0 -
Leave food on my plate when dining out. Walk into McDonalds to use restroom when traveling and smell turns my stomach. Bypasses dessert table at funerals, luncheons or any such event, and dont miss it. Find that I enjoy my coffee sans all the additives I used to think essential. Spend money formerly used for soda pop and chips for fitness books, dvds, etc. Enjoy grocery shopping and cooking as I never have before! (Healthy foods are so pretty!) Wear my pants a tad loose, resisting buying new because I know I am not done! Structure my day to include exercise, religiously.
There's so much more, but that's the gist!
God speed to you all on your journey!!0 -
- when you say I'll just have one and then... YOU JUST HAVE ONE
- when others start to follow your lead
- when your 3yr old sees you in workout clothes and asks if you are going to exercise in the house or outside
- when your dog sees you in workout clothes and thinks its time for a run0 -
Oh and you crave the day after soreness from the gym and don't feel right unless it's there.0

When you have 2 unopened boxes of girl scout cookies in the freezer that have been there for more than a month!!!!0

You know you'tre serious about losing weight when...
On a night out you check your calorie intake before ordering another drink
When your friends order Pizza and you pull out your yogart and fruit
When you go to a resturant and either have looked up the menu or calculating the calorie intake in your head
When you drink so much water you think you could drown
When five work outs a week are normal... WHAT lol
When MFP becomes the most accessed website on your computer! ...True it tells me so
When your boss sees you on said website and just rolls their eyes
When your best friend asks you whether you have enough calories left to share some popcorn at the cinema
And finally my favourite when your freakishly fit younger sister tells you "bloody hell you're doing more excercise than me right now!"
^True story my sister is an inspiration to me she is an England Qualifer in Karate and takes fitness seriosuly but I was talking to her on the phone last night and saying well ive been to the gym six times last week im aiming for five this week and she went quiet and said, "bloody hell Star you're doing more excercise then me! How are you fitting it in!" I cannot tell you how proud that made me feel.
Ive come a long way and I might not be there yet but Im closer than I was yesterday xx0 -
... you decide to try a mcdonalds breakfast burrito cause its been like 7 years... and two bites in, your stomach hurts and you toss the whole thing cause the calories already aren't worth it BLECHT! (if you cant tell this just now happened to me)
... when you get pissed about having to reschedule gym visits for social occasions
... when the gym is part of your 'getting ready to go out on the town' routine
... you have all the calories in over 100 foods stored in your memory. Of your brain- not your phone.
... you can guesstimate within 50 calories- your daily intake without tracking it
... you have two loads of laundry just for workout gear
... you have all your music categorized by tempo/bpm and what sport you can use it for
... you start thinking of calories as currency and never want to overspend
... you think of mindless eating as impulse shopping and gave that up with other teenage behavior
... three days without a workout leaves you grumpy, irritable and mentally twisted and tangled
... you are.0 -
I tell my hubby everytime he eats ice cream or candy in front of me "Do you know how many calories are in that thing" lol0
-
You pull up MFP on your phone to log immediately after a workout, and before you order at a restaurant.0
-
when you skip eating a treat because your not sure how to log it.0
-
......You choose to workout when you stress out instead of reaching for the ice cream.
.......You porposely bake something you know you wont eat for special occasions so you arent tempted0 -
.....you come up with every excuse under the sun for your husband to NOT accompany you shopping because you know he'll insist on a takeawy for tea0
-
hahaha awsome...

When the elliptical that has been serving as a clothes hanger for the last 4 years is getting used for it's actual purpose EVERY DAY0

Thought of a few more lol
You have two Brita pitchers going at the same time because 1 isn't enough to keep up with your water intake
Your 2yo actually likes healthy food and has been known to pig out on hummus!0 -
Purchased and promptly gave away three boxes of Girl Scout cookies from guy at work so his daughters can win another selling contest.
And, I love Samoas and thin mints.0 -
I love this!!0
-
You don't go to thanksgiving.... simply because you know the food there is not being prepared healthy.
That's how my family finally got it, that I was serious.0 -
You start the C25K again and this time it's not painful0
-
... you buy 20 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to support a friend's child - and still have 19 boxes left 3 weeks later.
Seriously, I used to inhale those things.0 -
when I think about what i am going to eat or do for exercising when I go on travel for work at the end of the month. LOL
Any other time I went on travel those were the least things on my mind but now I have two weeks and I am thinking about what food choices do I have and if the hotel has a gym because I am gonna miss out on Zumba and my other exercise routines.0 -
You have a chocolate "treat" all lined up for the day with much excitement and anticipation then your 2 yr old steals it from you and shoves it in her mouth and you just smile lovingly at her!!!
I have a 2 year old aswell and same thing happens
ALSO...when you are sore everyday cause you challenge yourself constantly (amazing feeling im addicted to it lol)
...when you feel that something is missing on your off day from the gym :sight: sundays are long for me0 -
This is cute. I love it.0
-
When you decide to have 1 can of Pepsi and it just doesn't taste good anymore...0
-
When
... buying a body analyzer scale is your idea of a treat
... exercising is something you look forward to
... you save up for fitness-related paraphernalia rather than fashion/shoes/handbags anymore
I love everyone's answers! Keep it up! :drinker:0 -
I willingly get up at 5am, without the kids or the alarm waking me up, to get an extra hour of exercise
I even manage to find a 200 calorie dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings (it is possible)
I walk across the building and up a flight of stairs and past 5 bathrooms to go to the bathroom at work to burn some extra calories0
