Screw Apple, invest in Monsanto or ADM! The future is in corn. And don't be so mean to Miguel and that lady is missing a leg, so don't ask her why she is on those crutches.

I would tell myself not to start going part time to school and working full time it was not worth it. I would also say when you decide to lose the weight at 21 great but when you get married dont overdo the eating on your pregnancy.
Also I would tell me to not let your weight go when your dad is sick and passed because now you are sitting and upset with yoursef that you have so much to lose.

Stay with computer science thats where the money is.

I should tell my 18 year old self the same thing. I liked cs, but I couldn't fathom what one would do with it. In hindsight, duh! That field would have given me quite the savings account. Oh well! God had other plans, I suppose.

Screw what's happened in the past, the next few years will be the FUNNEST and most productive years of your entire life! Also, don't be scared to leave the house and take every opportunity you can grab. :)

Maybe I should tell myself that again now, cause why shouldn't it be always true!!!

    You are young and stupid.
    Enjoy it.
I think I did say that, so I don't really have any additional advice for my 40 years ago self.
But it sure went fast. Might have advised that.

Finish college, go for what you wanted.
Boys are not that important you can wait.
You are more beautiful than you think.
You've lost this weight through diet, now start exercising and toning up. You'll appreciate it later.

    Dear 18 year old self:

Don't marry that idiot boyfriend next year. He is not the end all, be all.
Break a few rules. Dad might be a little upset, but he won't kill you.
Go to college or join the military!
Do not take that office job, no matter what Dad tells you.
    Move out on your own.
Have some fun now before the kids show up.
And you're fine at 105 lbs. Mom's crazy! *lol*

    ^^^THIS!!!

I just watched The Help for the first time this week. I love that line

Made me laugh that someone else thought of it, too!!

First, go ahead and take the last 3 college courses the first time around. You will get your degree, but why wait 10 years to do so?

You would have made a wonderful writer. Think about that when you think about getting a job.

Write down the stories from your mom and the other elders in the family. You are right. It would make a GREAT book to hand down to the younger generations. So many stories get twisted or completely changed when the older ones pass away.

It will be OK when the family stops speaking you to. It will get better, and most of us will get back together before mom dies.

Don't become an ATM machine for people. Not all of that money will come back. In fact, MOST of the money won't come back.

Stay true to yourself and follow through with what you start, because it will affect you in the future when you try to accomplish your goals..and it will be a very hard time getting back on track.

    - He's too old for you, stop being stupid.
    - Do better in school & go to college right after, instead of waiting almost two years.
    - Your imperfections are what make you perfect.
    - People that don't need you in their life don't need to be in your's.

Lose weight now and not later. You'll thank me for the wild times..

Drink. There's nothing wrong with it.

Hit weights like you used to!

Don't leave your job, dedicate yourself and put up with a boring year or so for the long term benefit. (barclays)

You cannot please everyone and not everyone will like you. Deal with it.
