    My oldest cat was found on the street as a kitten, emaciated and starved for attention and food, at the age of 6 weeks. He looked like a little cloud of smoke and we named him Smoky. We had NO IDEA he was going to grow up to be over 17lbs! He appears to be part Maine Coon.

    Our 2 year old guy we got from a family that had way too many pets (all unspayed and unneutered :-P) and we chose him. His name is Captain Jack, but we usually call him just Jack or Jackie Cat. He would more aptly be named "scaredy cat" because he jumps at every little unexpected thing!

    Stella and Grace :) They're the names of Dave Matthew's twin daughters (my mom and I are huge fans).

    Generally when we call them we refer to them as "Gracie Lou" and "Stella Bella" however haha

    Callie, Casey the kitten, and Kingston, all rescues. Had a scary moment with the 2 month old kitten. She managed to get the string from a cat toy wrapped around her neck as well as a piece of furniture. I had been outside, and when I came in I heard her in distress. Let me just say, thank God, I was able to get the string from around her neck just in the nick of time...so scary! Needless to say, I cuddled with her and prayed thanks all night! She is my little baby...so glad she is okay!

    Little One, named by my (at the time) 2 year old son. "Little One" is a male orange tabby who now weighs in at around 15lb.

    My cats name is Milagro, which means "miracle" in Spanish. I saw her in the road when she was a tiny baby...tried to stop the car to help her, and I thought she safely ran into the woods. An hour later, I hear crying and meweing, and she was inside my car axle. She had been riding and holding on for over an hour in 90 + degree heat! I got her out with the help of a neighbor and she's been my kitty ever since. She recently turned 10. We call her Mia for short.

    My cats name is Boomerang. boomer for short He got his name because when he was a kitten no matter how many times i put him down he would jump right back up into my lap. He was a stray and so he found a forever home with us.

    Holly Hopper - Grey Manx Tabby, who hopped like a bunny

    Then there was my darling little Pan the Lost Boy, who suddenly die last August. I had him from the day he was born. I hand fed him. He didn't know he was a cat.

    When I was 3 years old I named our first cat Hoagie (I wasn't aware at the time that a hoagie was another name for a sub)

    Since then, we've had Daisy, Nina, Meetzee and Misty.

    Our last cat was called Ozzy (not after Ozzy Osbourne :p) but he used to make really funny noises when we poked him, so most of the time we called him Pokey or monsieur Pokeypuss xD

    We have Two-Baby (son named when he was little and she was our second cat)...we call her Puss.
    and our other cat Nabisco just recently passed away (he was black and white and the husband wanted to call him oreo. I said no. we settled on Nabisco. bisco for short)
