Well, for today my NSV would be that I resisted the urge to binge at lunch time..which is a pretty big deal for me considering that I struggle with a binge eating disorder.

    Yay! Go me! ;)

WEll done! that is amazing! I also binge from time to time and I know how tough it is not to!

I'm wearing a pair of pants that I have not comfortably worn since before my son was born (almost 3 years ago!)

Size 10! Back in March, I was a size 16!!

    Yay!

Being absolutely swamped in work and things I HAVE to do tonight, and rearranging all of them to ensure that I still got to go for a walk. I could so easily have cancelled the walk I planned, but I made it my priority instead :D

Oh, and that it's looking like I'm going to have a great protein day AND be under on my sodium!!
<Sound of my jaw hitting the floor. The floor which probably has sodium in it, since EVERYFRICKINTHING ELSE DOES!!! lol>

...being able to pedal up a monster hill on my bike without having to stop and just walk the bike up the hill (like I used to have to do) and being able to walk seven miles without feeling sore the next day.

When the scale and the tape measure don't budge, I find happiness in the noticeable improvements in endurance that I experience every single day I stay active.

I'm a dog walker and I was walking a labrador today when it started pouring with rain - so I started running with the dog to get back to her house and even though we didn't go very far the dog got tired and stopped before I did and I wasnt a bit out of breath :)

Fitting into pants that I bought ages ago but were too small! They now fit! Yay! Can't wait until they are too big for me! That will be another NSV day!

Yesterday, a co worker complimented me. :) One told me my scrubs were getting too big. :) Also on the way home from work, I looked in the rear view mirror and saw my collar bones. :):)

I started my journey not being able to run more than a minute or so at a time. Even in high school when I was healthy I was a sprinter and anything over .25 miles at a time was torture. Now I can run/walk 5 miles at a time with not alot of walking going on....in about an hour. This morning I took 5 minutes off my 5 mile time...so I'm down to 55 minutes. I can almost call myself a true runner now

I'm wearing a shirt that I haven't worn for two years because it was tight in certain places, but I couldn't bear to part with it.

my husband grabbed me as he walked out the front door, spun me around, and gave me a big ole smooch... ok. not really a victory, but it felt line one because this week has had me feeling "undesirable". :blushing:

I put on a outfit that I thought was a little to clingy & changed. My 13yr old son asked why I changed & I told him because I didn't think it looked appropriate. He told me to change back because I looked really cute in the other outfit & the one I put on actually looked too big & sloppy!!

& this morning I got hit on my a really young guy(young to me anyway!! He thought we were the same age!!!
  • i can actually start to see my collar bones!! at new year i could only feel them if i pressed down real hard!! lol (ihave a weird facination with collar bones!!) lol

I did 43 push ups today! I started the 100 Push Ups program a week and a half ago, and could only do 3 sets of 6. Today I did 5 sets for a total of 43! (On not on my knees...)

~ Out of the blue my boyfriend told me I was looking thin last night.
~ Yesterday I did single leg dead lifts with 12lbs weights without falling over. I started barely being able to do them with 5lbs and falling or almost falling every rep because I was weak and have bad balance.

I realized last night that I was sitting on the couch with my knees up to my chest - comfortably. My boobs and stomach weren't in the way, my feet weren't sliding off... I've never been able to sit like that.

I haved worked out every day the past three days, including getting up before 5 am for walking & jogging. And I managed to get to 2 miles in under 34 minutes, which is way better than I did a few weeks ago. :)

Started deadlifts at 135lb and managed to do a full 5 sets of 5... very proud of myself, it took a while for me to gather the confidence to even attempt them.

That's amazing!! I'll be thrilled when I can break into triple-digits on deadlifts! WTG!

Stuck to the list going grocery shopping! I didn't come out of there with a single cake, cookie, ice cream tub or chocolate bar and didn't stuff my face whilst waiting for my brother to come out of training. It feels amazing!

Picked up a pair of dress pants that had been at the dry cleaner for a very long time. Last time I wore them, they fit, but were snug. Today, they practically fell off.

    Good news: I'm getting smaller
Bad news: Those were expensive dress pants :/

I'm wearing a dress I bought a year ago but have never worn because I thought it made me look lumpy. I'm getting all kinds of compliments today - makes me feel very good!
