So the calculator thing put me at 1729 to eat with working out lightly 1-3 days a week; just doing cardio. Now...I'm not interested in lifting at the moment. I might start later, but right now it's not my main focus. So, should I still be eating that many calories? I'd afraid I won't lose any weight this way.

Is lifting heavy a must?
I keep reading that many of you lift heavy. Is that really a requirement to eat more to weigh less? Or is that just a common denominator in this group? I lift but am up to only 10-15lb dumbbells so I don't think that qualifies as heavy.
