So I've reached enough weight that when I put the bar on my back, my sports bra straps dig into my shoulder in a most uncomfortable manner. I have a few different styles, but none are great. Suggestions?

Looking for new friends!
Hi everyone! I am pretty motivated to exercise and eat well, but could use some friends for support and accountability! I am 26, 5'4" weigh 138.8 lbs and my BF is roughly 27%. I'd like to lose about 15 lbs and reduce my BF to ~21%. Currently, I do circuit training with free weights + a 10 minute interval run 3x/week and…

I have been only using machines to lift because I am not too sure about my form and I don't like looking in the gym mirror. Can I still sculpt and tone using machine weights as well as I could with free weights?

anyone use a knee brace?
I've begun to get some pain during squats, not enough to make me stop or lighten the load, but wonder if some support would help? Thoughts? It's a dull, almost stretching feeling when I get parallel. I just don't want to wait until it is really painful and have to completely stop.

New to this...
Hey there everyone. I'm here because I need to lose weight and I know lifting helps with health. I really don't want 'muscles', but I do want to have nice arms and not be so weak. I don't have very much weight to lose on my arms as they've always been relatively decent, even when heavy. I just need to lose what little…

Strength w/ Minimal Cardio
So I've always been a bit of a cardio queen when I am actually sticking to my workout regimen. I also do strength training, but focus more on my cardio. Do any of you focus more on strength training and less on cardio? Strength training is more enjoyable to me and if I could cut my minutes of cardio (just get enough for…

Suggested replacement
I'm looking for a replacement for Squats. Before anyone screams, allow me to explain - I have scoliosis & a spinal fusion. I can do BW squats & DD squats (and I do both), but when I try using a bar (even empty) it causes extreme pain. After months of trying, I finally figured it was a combo of the entire weight of the bar…

Squats with dumbbells and deadlift form

At my gym, I have to use dumbbells for anything over 60 lbs. we only have barbells in the increments of 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 lbs. so I am using dumbbells for my squats and deadlifts. I dropped the deadlift weight to 60 so I could use the barbell so y'all could check my form. Today I left…

Please Critique my Deadlift Form
Hi there. I have been lifting for almost two years, but have not dead lifted in probably six months because I always injure my back when I do, which usually leaves me pretty immobilized for at least a week each time. I have a hard time keeping my back straight and chest forward, and I've been working on some stretches for…

What cardio do you do?
Hi Ladies, I'm just wondering what cardio you do (if any) along with your strength programme. I'm in my second week of SL 5X5 and usually do 20-25 mins on elliptical 2/3 times a week on lifting days. 10 mins as a warm up and then 15 hiit after lifting. I'm only starting so not sure if this is a good way to be doing it.…
