Strength training causing bruising?
Newb with a question to the more experienced: I'm on day 9 of a new strength training program. I've found three pretty gnarly bruises on my body within the last four days. One looks like I took a baseball bat to the side of my upper forearm. I'm not a klutz, so bruises are an oddity on me and I usually remember where I got…

Wrists sore after squatting
My wrists are sore after barbell back squats. I try to hold the bar fairly low as it's more comfortable on my back. How far out do you hold the bar, and at what angle do you hold you wrists? I'm at 125 pounds, so not super heavy, but not light either.

How often to workout??
so I was working out 3 days a week weights and 3 days a week light cardio (bike ride, walk, etc). But since general advice is to do intense compound workouts I wonder if it's best to do compound 3x week and then isolation on all other days? IE instead of lunges with bicep curl or squat with overhead press...just do lunges…
