:) I've gone from being 36.1 bmi at my heaviest, now I'm 23.1. I weight loss started out with Weight Watchers, this taught me about the right foods to eat. I've been using MFP for over six months and lost two stone taking my total loss to over 6 stone (84lbs). I've managed to keep this off for eight years :) :) :)

I thought I had hit a plateau, the scales didn't move for 6 weeks. Then I realised I had to be honest with myself, I wasn't being as strict with my logging, I was picking and not logging. So last week I made sure I logged EVERYTHING and didn't pick and I lost 2lb this week. Plus I was also eating back 85% of my exercise…

I always save around 150 calories to snack on in the evening as I know this is when I pick. I also brought an adult colouring book, I usually eat when I'm bored, this takes my mind of eating and it's very therapeutic :)

The biggest loser usa is a huge motivator for me! I use to watch it whilst on the cross trainer. It got me into running, I thought if they can do it I can, a year later I have a 5k under my belt & I run 2/3 times a week :)

I subscribe to a magazine called Healthy Food Guide, but you can get recipes from their website. They are low in calories and the portion sizes are great. My partner was a little worried about the portion sizes but we've had some meals where the recipe could have served three when it was actually for two!

Hummus with carrot sticks or celery. Celery with low fat soft cheese Bread sticks with salsa Edamame beans are my favourite  I only recently found a shop that sold them near me, I think I go through a pack a week.

I started running my using a couch to 5k as well, it's a great programme. I completed my first 5k last year and was over the moon! I try to run at least twice a week, I do find that if I miss a run or two it affects me hugely.

I suffered from knee pain when I ran, it turned out to be from badly fitting trainers. I visited a running shop, got fitted correctly (they recorded me running) and the result was I needed a really supportive trainer. I haven't had any pain since. I know you are not running but could it be your trainers causing the…

For me it was not being able to shop in normal fashion shops I had to go the large section and the range of clothing there wasn't great for someone in their early twenties (was 10 years ago). I also couldn't walk up a flight of stairs in a shopping centre without getting out of breath, and I hate to admit this but I though…

I drink a lot of water throughout the day but I find as well that sometimes water doesn't cut it. A good cup of tea does the trick for me

[*]Those hard plastic seats on the metro are really uncomfortable without all that extra padding on my butt. That is so true!!!!!!!!

Thank you for all of your replies, I'm doing ok this week so far. I think I will take a break for a couple of weeks and then start fresh :)

Strangely mine didn't adjust until I had lost 14lbs, then it said well done for loosing 10lbs your net calories have been reduced. So it was a bit off!

I suffered with extremely painful knees when I was running at the end of last year. Literally my jeans touching my knee would hurt like hell, I didn't know what to do with myself. I saved some money and went and got fitted for some running trainers, I have never looked back. The guy in the shop spent over 45 minutes with…

This so true, I pick up my phone all the time to check Facebook. Last year I went away to a log cabin with no WiFi (which was amazing) I couldn't use my phone. I didn't use Facebook for around4 months

I always save around 150 calories for a evening snack, if I didn't I would reach for rubbish because i wouldn't be able to think of anything else bar what was in the cupboards!!

I have lost and kept off 81lbs (19lbs lost in the last 3 months) and don't have any excess skin. My weight loss started when I was around 22, I'm 30 this year. Where this was because it came of slowly or is genetic I don't know

My boyfriend is type one and if his sugar level ever goes low it's always in the early hours of the morning, not such a nice wake up call for me! Anyway he is very very lucky that he can actually go down to 40 or sometime lower and still be walking, but beginning to not make sense lol! I would agree with what people above…

Yep in the same, I had 200 calories left over yesterday. If I need then during the week they are there for me to use if I don't then it helps my weight loss more.

Oh! I have a Graze box delivered every other week for over a year. I love the variety you get and the small portions are just enough. I will probably still go by what it scans in as only because I've been steadily loosing every week. But thanks for the heads up
