Thanks for the question. I always feel a sense of relief of some sort when I walk into a meeting and know I am not alone. It takes away any heaviness I feel around the food. I have to say that I have moved away from OA meetings lately and for a while. I am in AA and stay connected to AA but I know it is important for me to…

Hello and thanks. Just get more of that muscle and reduce some of that fat and things will be okay. LOL

what I would like to know is how many contestants blew their knees out? I usually consider this show the "let's see how many we can get to blow out there knees" show. Ho, hum.....

Using total body weight as a "go by" for progress can really set you up. Could be additonal lean mass "gain" which is great, could be water retention.....or you might have to re-evaluate your nutritional choices and/or ratios.

reset your ratios in your "goal" tab to: 40 percent protein, 30 percent carbs, 30 percent fats. That should help your situation. Best, Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPC Figure Competitor "Train Like You Mean It"

Heavier weight, shorter reps (8-12) to fill in the mucle but that is only if you back it up with proper nutrition to help the muscle build. Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPC Figure Competitor

great question. I just came across an Enzymedica product that helps with the digestion process on this issue. It has helped me so much and I have only taken it for a week. I found it in Whole Foods but you can get it on line I think. I am using Digest Gold from them. Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPS Figure…

Ditto. Totally a set up for most women. Those who's estrogen levels have dropped, soy can be beneficial in moderation. I suggest almond milk as a much better idea and health choice. On a side note, as a healthcare provider - my theory is that anything that promotes and over abundance of estrogen in a female body is prone…

Hmm, that is a tough one if you are in a recovery phase. Honestly, light walking and eating clean until you fully recover would probably be your best bet with light exercise band work. Get better soon! Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPC Figure Competitor

I measure out my carbs sometimes but actually I am making butters apples (made with canola butter) instead of pie and I am having spaghetti squash instead of mashed potatoes, green beans (steamed) with parm cheese, turkey of course, some corn (maybe) and then a walk LOL.

First of all, thank you for serving our country. I really appreciate your service for us. I am coaching someone who is also deployed and I know that the choices are difficult but I personally feel that in your situation, especially depending on what your physical requirements are, you will be okay with your listed choices.…

Your food choices need to change would be my suggestion. Making sure you have healthier ratios on your P/C/F in each meal. I guarantee that is part of the stall. Also, sometimes eating back calories can be a set up. Depending on how and what you are choosing. Lastly, how you approach your training relative to cardio, like…

would need to see your diary and also would suggest that you get a bit more aggressive with your training regimine. Message me if you decide to open your journal so I can help. Hugs, Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPC Figure Competitor From 170 pounds to Fit "If I Can Do It, So Can You!"

You guys are moving it! Awesome. Looks like weather is weird in several places in the world.

Calorically you should consider increasing your intake as your base is around 1250-1300 which over time can stall your body from releasing the fat especially since you have a fitness plan in place. My recommendations are these to see results within 2-3 weeks minimal: Intake: 1400/day Ratios: 40/30/30 (protein, carbs, fats)…

water weight / retention. High sodium foods and around mences can induce that. Asparagus and Vit. B2 are natural diaretics as well. Coach Nyla ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer NPC Figure Competitor

Dandelion greens are great too with olive oil and some salt. Great for kidney cleanse and detox.

depends on if you are executing cardio or weight training in the AM. I don't carb up before a cardio session because my body is just burning off the glycogen in the muscle and going no where toward my fat cell. So AM cardio, just water, then cardio. Weight training in the AM, I eat 45 min. prior to training or do a…
