it sounds like the issue is the smell? My gym has a policy on cologne/perfume, and i think the same should be with food, that the smell can be distracting or irritate certain people. I would fill out a comment card if they have one at your gym, or talk to one of the staff about it.

I workout before dinner, i find it hard to workout after eating dinner, unless its a few hours later. I'l usually have something small before working out though, like a banana and a protein shake.

Have you found your optimal balance for your objectives? The amounts that were originally set for me didnt suit my objectives, so i adjusted them for a different ratio.

i would suggest doing lots of stretching, that usually helps me when i get soar. Also going to see a RMT is not a bad idea to loosen up the muscles.

I used to put in Cinnamon, but now I just add a scoop of whey protein.

good suggestions - I sit all day for work too, I try to take the long route when getting a drink or going to the washroom, also taking stairs instead of the elevator. You can always track your walking with a pedometer and then try to increase it daily :)

I work out around 4-6 after work, I'll usually have something small like a banana before a workout, then i'll eat dinner after i get home.

I know how you feel, I get the same attitude from everyone around me. In fact, most people i'm surrounded with are trying to get me fat, my family, at the office, even my wife! She even told me so. I say take most of their comments surrounding wheight with a grain of salt - focus on the positive encouragement at MFP!

a few times a week i'll do 3 sets of 50, but the last set is probably in the 40 range...

I'll usually have some variation of meat or fish/rice/veggies. Good levels and keeps me full for at least a few hours

Within 10 minutes after my workout I'll have a protein shake and a full meal (dinner) about half an hour after that

I get most of my fibre in the morning, probably close to 10g just from breakfast. I usually have some oatmeal or a bowl of cereal

I hear people say that its better to work out in the morning, but I think the best time is what works for you. Some people are not morning people at all, so later in the day might be better for them. Only thing I would avoid is working out just before going to sleep. I prefer working out in the morning, but I already wake…

Is there such a thing as gyro meat? I know what gyros are but I think the cuts and leaness of the meat can vary. Next time u get one ask for them to use the leanest meat they have

very good video. eating a few hundred calories in between meals would work if your actual meals werere a few hundred as well, but most of the time thats not the way people eat.
