Hi all. I also have over 100 lbs to lose. I have lost the first 15, but have been somewhat stagnant for the past 6 weeks or so bouncing the same 1-2 lbs back and forth. I say, the more friends the merrier! Any of you, please feel free to add me. It absolutely helps to know there are others in that boat with us. Good luck…

Hi. You can add me if you'd like. I'm here for a long time myself. I've got a lot of pounds to shed. Good luck on your journey!

I still don't do a lot of exercise - trying to get back into the swing of that. I used to (many years ago) be an exercise nut, but lo and behold the years and the pounds have added up and getting back to enjoying exercising is proving to be more of a challenge than I anticipated. When the weather was not great outside I…

I was drinking 2 of the 20 oz bottles a day so I know what you mean. When I started my journey I cut back to 1/2 bottle per day for a week or so then if I really felt like I needed one I would have a small bottle or can of one of the diet ones - Coke Zero and Diet Sunkist Orange are pretty good. Also, the flavored fizzy…

Me too. I have about 100 to lose still. Lost 12 already. Feel free to add me - any of you.

Welcome! I'm here to get healtier and lose weight also. I have a lot to lose as I have gained many lbs over the years. It's the small changes and little extras we do that will make the journey easier. Feel free to friend me if you'd like. I'm on here most every day. Don't always have the time to post a status, but I do go…

you look beautiful! great work and I know you can continue and make it to your goal. CONGRATS!

I eat out also, but try to limit it to lunch and then eat a cooked meal at home in the evenings. The others are right, you can definitely eat out and lose weight, you just have to plan ahead and look up that nutritional info BEFORE going to the restaurant instead of after. I've found that items I would think were low cal…

You look amazing! Congrats on your weight loss!

I've lost 11 pounds so far and still have over 100 to go. It's going to be a long road for me as well. We can all do this! We must support and motivate each other to stay on track. This isn't a 'diet', it's a lifestyle change! I also am incorporating foods I love in smaller portions. Nothing is off limits - as long as it…

I'm in this group also - 100+ to lose. I have lost 11 so far. As long as the scale is moving down I'm happy. Please feel free to friend me anyone - I know I can use all the support I can get. I'll be glad to support you as well.

I'll be 51 in August and started with MFP (again) in April. I have lost 11 pounds so far but have a long way to go (100+ to lose). I have let myself go over the years with raising children and moving to a new state. Some medications have helped add some pounds as well, but it's mostly just me eating what I shouldn't and…

My kids are grown and married (thank goodness!) LOL I'm finally on my journey - need to lose 100+ pounds. Have met my first small goal of 10 pounds (yay!). Feel free to add me. Good luck on your journey!

I've lost the first 10 pounds. Moving toward the next small goal. Always looking for supportive friends. Feel free to add me.

You look fantastic! Sounds like you have hit the dreaded plateau. I'd say start measuring/weighing your food and make some adjustments to your intake. Good luck!

I was eating under my calorie goal and not really losing much at all. Went to a nutritionist and found out I was not eating enough calories. She told me what I should be eating calorie-wise and since making the appropriate adjustments in MFP I have started losing. I don't look for big/quick drops in weight as my doctor…

I'm a turtle loser too! BUT my doctor says 1/2 to 1 pound per week is ideal as it not only allows you to develop those habits you need to maintain a weight loss for a lifetime, but it is healthier as it doesn't flood the liver with extra fat. I have fatty liver disease and losing weight too fast will make that worse…

I'm in the same boat - weight is coming off very slowly, BUT my doctor recommended losing about 1/2 to 1 pound per week. He said this is healthiest and sustainable. So, while I'm not happy about the very slow loss and the scale staying the same, sometimes for weeks at a time, at least I know in the end the numbers are…

Me too, 100+ to lose. Would love others in the same boat for friends. Any of you, please feel free to friend me.

Thanks for sharing your story. You are a true inspiration! As I sit here with more than 100 pounds to lose, it's so easy to get discouraged. The weight is coming off so very slowly. I have dropped sodas and drink almost all water now. If I run out to pick up something for lunch I get a salad or a grilled chicken sandwich…
