I haven't used MFP for maybe a little over a month but I just logged in today and I can't find my normal news activity feed where I can talk with my friends. I saw the post about the new activity feed view but I followed the instructions and still can't see any of my friends status updates. What happened? š

How to change calorie goal
I am trying to change my calorie goal but when I click on the # of calories I get a dialog box that says I have to change my nutrients to percentages instead of grams. So I click on the nutrients and change the view to % but the little check mark to make the change doesnāt work. Itās there but unclickable. How can I changeā¦

I'm trying to delete an item from "Your Personal Foods" It says "To view, edit, or delete a personal food, click on that food below", however when I click on the item, I can edit it but not delete it. What am I missing?

Calories and exercise
Hi, I see that when you enter exercise, those calories are deducted from your total calories, so my question is should you still strive to reach the calorie goal or is the deficit a contributing factor to your weight loss?

Why do I plateau for weeks at a time
I count my calories, avoid sugar, limit carbs and struggle to lose. It takes me weeks to lose a pound. Then I gain it back and lose it again, all while staying in a calorie deficit. Idk what Iām doing wrong and itās frustrating

Just want to see if someone can help me wrap my head around this? I get the Base Goal - Food consumed, obviously. But why is exercise also being subtracted from the total? The picture is just from my steps for the day before I go for a run or spend time in the gym later. Just want to make sure I understand how it worksā¦

Base goal and calorie deficit
hi, Iām new to MFP and I donāt understand how the ābase goalā works. My base goal is 1790 and I have connected my Garmin app so when I do a workout this number goes up so as of now I have 966 left. How would I go into a calorie deficit?
