I actually like the protein one bars - but I like mine to be very chewy That said, can't do more than one a day, I'm slowly accepting that chicory root and erythritol (though I don't think that's an ingredient in them) are not my good friends.2

I made my first Lil buff protein cake today. It's OK. Tastes kinda like if you made malt o meal into a cake. Not bad but not sure if I'll order more. I have a couple of packets that I'll play around with3

When McDonald's makes major news...(><). Only in America!4

Linda McCartneys vegetarian scampi. I was completely skeptical but bought them out of curiosity anyway. Don't know how but they actually smelled like fish. I've been veggie for 4 years now so can't remember what meat and fish tastes like but I did like the veggie scampi and would buy again .0

I don't know how new these are, but I just started seeing them a few weeks ago at my grocery store. They don't sell them individually to try, but I finally broke down and got the whole box since I had a coupon.
I didn't like them at all. They're hard and very chewy. The chocolate chips inside it have a good flavor though, but the chocolate coating doesn't seem to have any flavor at all. I really wish I could've found them sold individually so I wouldn't now have four of them left.
Try sticking them in the microwave or something? Might soften them up and melt the chocolate coating to give it a different flavor. Just a thought!
@tankiscool Microwaving one did seem to help quite a bit. The chocolate coating on the outside was much better. They were still very chewy but no longer hard. I wasn't afraid I'd break a tooth eating it.4 -

Sorry for the terrible pic, I was eating in bed and then realized I had no pic haha.
Also now have tried all the bars. All were good. I loved the salted almond, but it wasn't anything better than nature valley sweet and salty almond bar. (I'd have to say nature valleys are MUCH tastier. Even though they have less protein and have dairy).
Overall I liked the caveman bars, but they are not that amazing that I would go out of my way to buy or spend triple what I could spend buying a similar tasting bar made by nature valley, etc.
Also I take back my review for the mojo salted caramel chocolate. The more I eat of the bars, the less that I like them. The caramel is very artificial tasting and there is just not enough chocolate, lol. I won't buy again. If you buy mojo definitely try the mountain mix or pb pretzel, those are 100x better.
@PaperDoll_ I will definitely post on here when I use it. I want to open it and try it on Valentine's day but the bf says I should "save it" since they only made 150 jars. But.... what is the fun in that?!2 -
Ohhh I want to try those mcdonalds fries! And I got the burger king funnel cake fries on the weekend and they were so good. I felt they tasted better than the actual cake!1

Honestly, I feel like BK does a better job at executing new products than Mcdonalds. The funnel cake fries seem like a much better idea than donut sticks... wonder how the donut sticks are any different than French toast sticks?1 -
I heard that McDonald's also came out with cheese fries (covered in bacon). Has anyone tried them?1

I have and I’m personally not a fan. It’s their regular fries with a cheap cheese sauce that tastes like cheez whiz and crumbled up bacon bits that remind me of the Beggin Strips I used to feed my dog. I love their regular fries but the new cheese fries just ruins them completely in my opinion! It’s also VERY salty which some people might not like; I love salt so that didn’t bother me, but the overall flavor did. Yuck!
On the bright side, this looks amazing!!!

Idk Arby's (top pic) looks 100x more appetizing in my opinion

Lol, Mcdonalds bacon fries look so sad compared to Arby's. Those look awesome. I love curly fries!
Of course Mcdonalds had to make sweet fries after BK did. They can't let their competition make anything with busting out a similar item, haha! I think funnel fries sound much more delicious than donut sticks/fries. But if they are made from a bakery like @pancakerunner said, they might end up being amazing. I plan to try the funnel fries soon too because of the good reviews on here.2 -
Apparently there is a line of frozen Benihana meals now. I'm curious, but I'll wait until I catch them on sale. Usually frozen chinese/japanese food isn't that great.

I found four of the new Haagen-Dazs spirits ice cream flavors! Tried three of them today - bourbon vanilla bean truffle, rum tres leches, and Irish cream brownie.
Bourbon vanilla bean truffle was tasty, but not my favorite. The bourbon taste is pretty prominent in this. The chocolate truffles, while tasty, seem to be more of just chocolate pieces instead of what I think of as chocolate truffles. I'd give this an 8/10.
The rum tres leches and Irish cream brownie flavors were both amazing. I don't know which is my favorite, both are 10/10. For the rum tres leches, the rum ice cream was subtle but you could definitely taste it. The dulce de leche swirl and tres leches cake pieces were delicious too. The Irish cream brownie flavor was similar in that the Irish cream ice cream had the perfect amount of Irish cream in it, and the brownie and fudge swirl mix-ins complemented it very well. If anything, the brownie pieces weren't quite brownies but were more small chocolate cake like pieces, but it was still really good.
One thing that I noticed with the spirits line is that the serving size are different from the other Haagen-Dazs lines. Their other ice creams list a serving as 1/2 cup with 3.5 servings per container, but the spirits line lists a serving as 2/3 cup with 2.5 servings per container.
