I got home on Tuesday from work around 12:30am, so really it was Wednesday morning. I decided that I was hungry. I had some fresh strawberries from Whole Foods, and I decided that strawberries and toast sounded really good, and then I decided that I might as well make 2 scrambled eggs with it as well, lol. So there I was at about 1:15am eating a hearty breakfast. The only reason why I didn't add bacon is because it was frozen in the freezer. I hit my macros and was in my calorie goal, but my net was super low b/c I had over 23k steps for the day, so there's no need for guilt, it's just strange b/c I told myself it would be ridiculous to bake a few cookies, but then I made a whole breakfast sandwich, lol.
I'm planning on doing the same tonight b/c it will be the same scenario work wise, except maybe I'll be at 15k steps, but I planned ahead and purchased some bacon from Whole Foods, so this time I'll get some bacon as well.
Plus, supposedly, I've hit the high end of my goal weight range (125-128lbs) on Thursday morning, but for some reason my brain cannot accept it, even though I weighed in about .3lbs less this morning, so I'm sure it's true, but I kept weighing myself over and over again yesterday morning and this morning looking for the catch. Like I legit weighed myself 10 times this morning and kept moving my scale to different spots in the bathroom to see what the number read out. It was fluctuating between 127.7-128.3, I took the average of the weights and it was 127.94, so I guess I should accept it. I ended up going with the 127.7 b/c that was the last number the scale gave me about 5 or 6 times.
This is my favorite part of your post!
LOL! Right! It's like "hm... better not preheat that oven for those cookies b/c it's too late for that. How about you break out the skillet and toaster instead? Yep, sounds like a great plan!" LOL! Who does that? Me. I do that, lol.
In honor of your post, I had egg sandwiches for dinner last night! THANK YOU!!!
It's such a great meal that a good amount of protein but not super high in calories.
One thing I miss going vegan is eggs. They are such a great, quick snack with so much protein.
Maybe a dumb question, but do they make a vegan substitute?
Probably they have vegan everything these days. I haven't looked but maybe I will see. Good thought!0 -
So I am not finished with my current trainee's 11 week training period yet and they are giving me another new trainee. This is NOT fair.
I realize that fair is where you go to ride the rides. I just needed to whine about it for a moment.2 -

Whine away. I've trained people back to back to back. It's exhausting, even without your specific challenges with it.0 -
I'm exhausted. It's been a crazy busy week, and it's not going to slow down. I ate a pint of ice cream for dinner last night, because I was too tired to cook.4

At this point, I am just wondering if I will ever be able to just do my own work again.2 -

Yes, actually. That woman pleaded guilty yesterday. So freaking satisfying to hear her say, "Guilty, Your Honor." One down, one to go.4 -

I hate training people when they think they know everything & when they get on the register by themselves they have to ask a billion questions.1 -

My current trainee isn't like that and is working on her own, just asking questions if she has them. For whatever reason though, this particular team has lost lost three employees since September 5 and apparently I get to train all of the replacements. They haven't hired the third one yet. It's going to get messy.0 -
In the past 2 weeks I've had pancakes for breakfast/lunch 5 times. I think I've barely squeezed them into my calories, but damn yo, I gotta stop this trend. The sugar alone makes me feel a wee bit funny afterward.1

Please put down the fork and step away from the pancakes. It's for your own good.0 -

If it fits in your calories I don't see a problem. Sure it's nice to eat a variety of foods, but don't feel like you need to deprive yourself.0 -

There's a designated trainer who has never been taught this particular software. The new trainee started with her last week. I will start training the new new girl on Nov 1.

Here's another thought: stop using the outdated software, when you spent GOBS of cash on updated software that will do the same job and leave each patient with only one medical record that includes occupational medicine.1 -
