    Alkaline diets are way blown out of proportion. It is very difficult, if damn near impossible to raise your body's blood PH level.

    Really all they are saying is eat more veggies.

    Your right! Can't find anything. But it can't hurt to have a few glasses a week especially for those that don't eat or like vegtables?

    Drinking a few extra glasses of water still doesn't substance the claim, but I do applaud the fact that you've acknowledged it.

    Yes, I do realize that actually and am aware of the thought process around Lemons; although I thought it wasn't clear if Lemons do actually "cleanse" the liver. With that being said, you don't have to do a liver-specific cleanse, one can simply change their lifestyle and improve their liver's health.

    I think you are refering to Kevin Trudeau and he was taken to court by the FTC on both civil complaints and criminal charges.

    I find that periodically juice fasting (smoothies, cold pressed juices, bone broth, bieler broth, and raw or lightly steamed vegetables) is a great way to get yourself back on track especially after a binge. Granted, I already eat an EXTREMELY clean diet (no gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, caffeine, alcohol, corn, refined sugar, nightshades, etc. etc.) and have been doing so for some time. When you cleanse it is a time to take a break and heal your body, to take a nap and relax, and ride out your emotions. I would recommend doing a two day juice fast at most, and if your diet isn't already dialed you will feel like CRAP, so try a transition day or two before hand and afterwords. Also, purchase a juicer or blender instead of purchasing cold pressed juices from a delivery service. This will be beneficial because 1) the juices are fresher and most likely less processed, and 2) you will save oodles of money. Also, take activated charcoal to help grab those free radicals that will be released.

    Juice fasting is an enlightening and powerful cleansing experience, it is NOT a quick fix solution for weight lose. Please, Please, Please consider cutting out Gluten, Refined Sugar, caffeine, soy, eggs, and dairy before attempting this.     Yes, lets cut out a bunch of food because someone online who admits they're not a dietitian says so...

    Activated charcoal is what they use to absorb medication in the stomach when someone overdoses. I'll just put that out there and let it soak in, as it were.

Most of that crap is such a scam and there's no way something like Lemon Juice + Maple Syrup for 10 days is healthy. Oh yeah, and the Tea that makes you *kitten* like crazy in-between. I wish I could remember which "detox" it was but one of those went to court for claims in his book, not sure if it was criminal or not but he was in court and found guilty. Try and make nutritious food decisions and exercise, don't worry about the minor details of stuff.

    Do the important stuff 90% of the time and don't worry about that small stuff. Too many people want to do the unimportant stuff 90% of the time and then slack on the important stuff all the time, but it doesn't work that way.

    Alkaline diets are way blown out of proportion. It is very difficult, if damn near impossible to raise your body's blood PH level.

    Your right! Can't find anything. But it can't hurt to have a few glasses a week especially for those that don't eat or like vegtables?

    I'll drink the lemon juice, I love that stuff but not for liver issues. I rely on my vaccines etc for those things.
