Just found this thread and I love it! Small achievable goals everyday... So much easier to focus on than the big goal months from now!
    For me today:
    -salad for dinner
-no snacking on that bag of opened chocolate chips :/
-attempt jogging for the first time since baby was born!

    @bluecat86

    Congrats on the baby!!

And how'd your goals go today? Did the chocolate chips win?

    -salad for dinner✅
-no chocolate chips✅... Dried figs instead!
-jogging...did walking on TM but no jogging today

Just discovered this post. Love it!

Goals for today (wedged around working a 10 hour shift!):

Attend my first 45 minute spinning class (usually have only done 30 minute classes)
    Stick under my calorie goal
    Update my journal
    Drink 2 litres of water
    Get an early night

So yesterday was.....well a disaster as far as goals go! My gym membership was cancelled by accident by the by so I couldn't attend the class. Felt so put off by that hubby and I ordered pizza for dinner. Binged on Netflix thus staying up too late. Drunk plenty of fizzy with my pizza but not enough water and was too busy to do my journal....so 0% achieved!!

Today working another 10 hours today but mostly at a course so a bit more relaxed!

    1. Drink 2 litres (try to dilute all that salt from the pizza!)
    2. Stick to lower calorie limit (doing my own variation of 5:2 diet, just not quite as low!)
    3. Go for a walk with the hubby tonight after work
    4. Be in bed by 10pm
    5. Find the charger for my Fitbit!!

Good goals. I like the term "intentional exercise" ...I think I'm going to adopt it! I'm quite active in my job (healthcare assistant in the UK which I think might be a nursing assistant/auxillary in the states) so I am walking a lot, carrying heavy buckets, unloading supplies, helping patients etc. But I don't want to just rely on that activity....so intentional exercise will be my new goal!

Sorry you had a disastrous day yesterday after your disappointment at the gym. That would have thrown me off a little, too. (Sounds like my day so far. I need to turn it around and get to the gym so I can give myself a little success before it ends.) Hopefully you'll meet some of your goals today and get that gym membership back on as soon as possible. Spinning is great exercise! :)

Whenever I see those on a post, I always imagine there's something NSFW hidden under there. It's almost like there's a prize inside. LOL! I've never used it before.

Weights day done, although I'm not quite where I wanted to be on protein intake...yet. I really pushed myself today and I'm already feeling quite sore, so I've vetoed my planned trail run for tomorrow morning. I'll just hike instead. If I take my elderly dogs along it will be more like a rest day, so that's my new goal for tomorrow: "Resting" slowly along the trail with my old dogs. B)

Today is my first day back to healthy eating, working out and ultimately reaching my goal weight.

Today's goal is to stay within my 1200 calorie limit, however my food consumption for the day was 1964 calories.
So I decided to go to the gym and burned about 601 calories. Still over by about 163 calories, but I am planning to get an extra low intensity work out by walking my dog for about an hour which should burn me at least another 200 calories.

Hopefully, i do better tomorrow. I love food and it's really hard to control myself and cravings. :(

I did at least some intentional leg raises in the shower. Not much but I'm counting it!! The other two, sadly no.

7pm and have achieved all except the caffeine goal! Sneakily had a third coffee this afternoon. Managed two litres of water (helps it is one of the hottest Septembers in over 100 years in the UK), calories right on point, went for a hour bike ride down the seafront this evening + Pilates and managed to cook a nice healthy vegetable and lentil curry which we shall reheat tomorrow and Friday.

Happy with today....I find having this thread to be "accountable" for the goals I pick is really useful!

    Goals for tomorrow:

    1. Drink plenty
    2. Get to work early so I can have a walk before work
    3. Have two caffeine hits
    4. Get an early night

I like that attitude! I've never really been one to compare myself to others. I'm very independent-minded. Whenever I want to motivate myself or be more competitive, I always focus on being the best version of ME, rather than being more like anyone else. I find it to be much more realistic and absolutely achievable! :D

Sorry for the other 2 days that I didn't check in. Mfp wasn't loading fast enough and I wanted to go to sleep on time and not wait, so that's what I did. Maybe I'll update in the mornings. It loaded quicker just now.

The last two days were a hit and miss. 1/2 decent time to sleep, 1/2 intentional, very brief exercise, and 0/2 8 cups of water. But one thing I can say is that I am trying, so I'm proud of myself.

How'd you make out yesterday? And I always wanted to try Pilates at a studio with the machines.
