    I've seen several people wanting to increase their daily water; maybe this might help someone...I use a 32oz Contigo water bottle.... Sometimes it's easier to just think about drinking 2-3 of these instead of 8-10 separate cups of water. I have both the one with a straw and one without straw; both are great and don't leak! Plus if they do leak or break, you can get free replacements for life by going through their website.
    Just thought I'd share!

    I'm so glad I found this thread, I need it!
    Tomorrow's goals will be:

    1. At least 32 ounces of water.
    2. No sweets.

    Simple for the day, since I won't be able to get to the gym.

    @jenholcomb5

    So how'd it go with the water and no sweets? I love my sweets so that would've been hard for me.

    Weights day done, although I'm not quite where I wanted to be on protein intake...yet. I really pushed myself today and I'm already feeling quite sore, so I've vetoed my planned trail run for tomorrow morning. I'll just hike instead. If I take my elderly dogs along it will be more like a rest day, so that's my new goal for tomorrow: "Resting" slowly along the trail with my old dogs. B)

    @jenilla1

    I LOVE how your rest day is still very active!!! I can't wait to be physically where you are!!!

    How'd your rest go?? Lol

    Todays goals are:

    Get in a nap
    45 minutes intentional exercise
    Be nice to everyone

    Lol 'be nice to everyone' lol. How'd that one play out? When I don't get enough sleep I am sometimes grouchy throughout the day.

    Finally a group that is serious about setting accountable goals...I am new to this group.
    1. To wog (Jog+Walk=Wog) 5 days a wk
    2. To lose 25 lbs before September.
    3. Cycle one day a week on road bike
    4. Maintain my food log and stay true to caloric intake goals
    5. Prepare a huge salad at the beginning of each week and it is ready to graze on for the entire week.
    6. Report deviations from this plan to MyFitnessPal group to hold me accountable for my actions.
    7. Report successes to MyFitnessPal group to celebrate and help keep me on track.

    I am 65 years YOUNG with a very serious and complex medical history that causes set backs from time to time and makes it difficult to maintain discipline of routine workouts. I run 5K races as a goal to keep fit and often place in my age bracket. My medical issues prevented me from working out since January and new meds have caused a 15lb weight gain during that time. Just got the all clear from the docs to resume normal activity and I did 2.5 miles two days in a row and felt good about it.

    Looking forward to being a supporter of your aspirations and goals.

    I would like to write down my goals for everyone to see to become more accountable and maybe you'll do the same.

    You can just come back right here and tell me out yourself if you've achieved what you set out to do for the day. It's that simple.

    So hopefully, it won't be only me taking to myself :# , but if so then be it. ;) Lol. You don't really know me, so you can't look at me crazy in real life :D . Lol

    So..... what's your goals for today?

    OMG!! I JUST REREAD MY INTRO TO THIS THREAD!! SO MANY MISTAKES AND I CAN'T EDIT IT!! OH WELL YOU KNOW WHAT I MEANT.

    PS... I hate when I type or speak incorrectly!!!

    This is the first time I've been able to log into the forums in days. It's been locked up for me, but they fixed it and I'm back. Glad so many people were on here getting things done while I was out!

    The rest went well. Since then I've been biking and hiking and doing weights as usual. On Friday I had my first mountain biking crash of my adult life. I've been doing this for a few years now with no incidents. I wasn't paying attention, running my mouth on the trail as usual, and hit a boulder while going up a steep incline. So I forgot what brakes are for and slid back down the hill, and crashed in slow motion. It was a soft fall with a surprisingly comfortable landing. It was way less traumatic than I expected it would be. I have some bruises and scrapes but I'm not sore at all! Now that I've gotten that first crash out of the way, I guess I'm ready to get crazy on the trail!

    Today is weights day!
