I'm here I'm here! There's no way I'll catch up on this weeks goings on so if anyone had a baby, got married, kicked out that bum or anything else I need to know PLEASE MESSAGE ME1!!!!

I've just been super busy with the new job and the photography work (editing and uploading photos from the dog show). I'm super happy that I'm only about 1.5 lbs over my ticker weight so I'm not gaining at least!

Quick update: George is still in the nursing home for "rehab" but they aren't really paying any attention to him and they're under working him so we are going to be big mean family and start asking for meetings with the head nurse and rehab person to get details of his rehab plans. He's only walking in rehab and only for a few minutes so he's LESS able now than when he went in. On the upside he's the most popular person at the place! He plays his harmonica and guitar for people and he can re-tell his stories to his new friends who can't remember them from day to day. It's kinda sad because he has about 93% of his marbles left and most of the others only have a few.

Meghan is here in Ohio but I ran her up to the Lake last Sat. for "a few days" where her brother is staying with my family and working a summer job in a little resort town (my parents/sisters have cottages there). Meghan decided staying up there the rest of the summer with boating/swimming/teenagers/family/noOldManForeskinConversations sounded pretty fun so she's getting a job there. I'm bummed because I miss her but really happy for her and think it will be a GREAT way to spend her first Ohio summer :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my new job but it's super busy (two security officers with over 40K end users - we're so out numbered LOL!)

It's July and I'm 20 lbs behind my goals :(

    Good morning gals,

I will be extreamly busy today...an unexpected trip down the NJ shore has come up so I am washing laundry and packing what to take so we don't forget anything. We are leaving tonight..kids don't know yet, suprising them - i guess.

I tired weighing myself but the scale said LO Bat..so no result for me. I did weigh myself on Wednesday..and Yesterday night and I was 1.5 pounds lower but since it wasn't Friday that I saw an actual weigh I am not counting it.

I have to go read all the post I missed yesterday.

Before I forget, who had the wii game "just dance" and how do you log it in? I played wiht my sister yesterdayand we were so competative..I didn't want her to win and she didn't want me to win. I had a blast.I played for about an hour straight. I bought the game, last week, and I plan on playing it today,I sweat so much and it was so fun.

    have a great day girls,
    check back later..
I had the game just dance and what I did as far as logging the calories burnt was under general dancing I believe and for however long I played its just a rough estimate so who knows

Ok I am going to post some freaking amazing news before I leave today.I weighed in at 213 this morning and I know it may not stick yet but it was so freaking nice to see on the scale. The reason I say it probably won't stick yet is because I have been sick with a tummy virus I got from my neice but I am feeling better today. So my weigh in doesn't count towards the biggest loser this week since I won't be here and I believe Cris was going to start the new thread for me while I am gone.Anyways I just had to share that I saw that number and I am so close to Onderville I can taste it.I hope to bring home a loss with me from vacation.I have all our meals planned out for the week and tons of exercising planned. Can't wait to see what my weight is when I return.I hope everyone has a great 4th and upcoming week.By the way Jess Eclipse was FREAKING AWESOME but they leave you hanging at the end again for BREAKING DAWN!! I guess thats so you will come to watch the next one lol.Well I am pulling out in a few hours love you gals and keep up the great work.

Have fun, Ann! That is SO great about your weight loss!

OK so if Ann passes on the challenge honors, we go to myworld898. Congrats, myworld! You get to pick a challenge for us to do this week! You can pick whatever challenge you want - but I will tell you once I picked drinking more wine (or did you pick that, mstahl? can't remember) and only mstahl and I did it. LOL The challenge should be to get us healthier!

I did the elliptical for 30 mins (sllllloooowlyyyy) and my broken toes were OK. Phew! Off to sing and then, of course, buffet at casino with family. :smokin: I mean :drinker:

I guess most of us are off with family or on vacation so I assume it will be rather quiet around here until Tuesday. I'll prob post the new thread tomorrow morning. My parents are keeping the baby today until tomorrow so Bobby and I can celebrate our anniversary.

I have eaten really poorly since yesterday and expect that by Tuesday I'll show a 6-10lb gain. I retain water really easily, so it sucks but at least Im having fun!

Our "anniversary" date kind of sucked. He still didnt plan anything, we ended up going to the movies to see the grown ups and it was no bigge. I didnt wear my dress because 1. I wasnt ready to wear it out in public even though I think I look ok in it 2. I dont think it was an appropriate dress to wear to the movies...I would have felt silly.

So yea....6 month of working to get to this day and it was a big bust...surprise surprise...bobby isnt very romantic at all. oh well, still love him

off to go hang out and relax...its nice not to have to chase a toddler around but I miss the lil guy

    quiet here this weekend...

ate very poorly today...not sure even on my cals...I am a lovely up 5 lbs i know it is water and will go away but still.

Tried the turbokick class this morning, i muddled my way through it , some of it i just couldn't do, lots of jumping ...too hard on my knees and ankles and lots of dance type moves...hubby walked out (should of been a clue when there was only 1 guy in there), was more of a dance than a kick boxing class...i still burned over 400 cals doing it , don't think i will go back or at least for a while, maybe a little less weight to jump up and down will be eaiser...

I think i will go back to the dance class though, i looked stupid i am sure but it was fun shaking my bootie  don't think i need two dancing type of calsses a week and the one last night was much more fun.

cris - sorry your anniversary wasn't what you had hoped for. That sucks. But I would NOT give up on the dress. You pick a date night with your man and you insist it be nice enough for you to wear that dress!
lildeb - I applaud you for trying out all of the new classes! If you would have never went to turbo, you'd have never known if it was right for you or not. Good for you! And shake, shake shake...shake, shake, shake.....shake that booty!

    check in:
cals: under - even with the buffet! First time! But wayyyyy over in sodium.
    water: 100
exercise: 30 mins elliptical, 20 mins treadmill. My broken piggies (the one that stayed home and the one that ate roast beef, if you remember your nursery rhyme!) did OK. Yay!
proud: I really controlled myself at the buffet tonight with my family. Whew! First time! SOOOO glad and proud!

Well I did very badly this weekend. My first holiday on my diet. I'm not beating myself up about it though. My history with diets is, I'd do good for a week and then "treat" myself and then never get back on track. Or make it until my first big weekend and then slip and never get back on track.

So I went way over my calories on Saturday and Sunday, I didn't even keep track. But today is a new day and a new week. SO it's time to start again, well to get back on track.

On the other hand, we had a good weekend. It was the baby's first 4th. He really could've cared less! He liked the fast fireworks that went up one after the other, but the big boomers that were paced out he lost interest. But good friends and good times. Now back to the grindstone!
