@gemwolf110 I wish I could complete block reels on Facebook! Some of the profiles of certain ones that kept coming up, I was able to block their page from coming up again. If I can discipline myself to stay away from them, maybe, just maybe, my homepage will stop showing me so many.

I need to start working on making sure I am buying and making meals that are better for me. I want to spend the weekend (a nice long weekend) working on that. Though meal planning for grocery shopping will need to be done tonight, as I go grocery shopping on Saturday!

Hi, all. I've been so busy, back to work—and so tired! Haven't logged, but haven't gone off the deep end, either, haha. Scale was down to 197 today, but I'm pretty sure I'm dehydrated. I had another UTI on Wednesday—had to rush to Doc right after my last class and was so sure I would wet myself at some point—but I didn't!

I'm glad it's the weekend. Time to recoup.

    TTFN.

    🎶 Good Mornin'....good moooor-nin'... 🎶

Lana, the pool was nice! I will go in again on the weekend before the bro and the SIL gets back. The bike is cool! I got a good workout using just the pedal assist. And on the way home I was wiped out, so I used the throttle and it took me the rest of the way home....very convenient. I will need to change out the seat, though....that is not comfortable but most seats that come with bikes usually aren't.

As for the chicken, I had to have the fries and coleslaw. but it was worth it for a treat. I couldn't do it every week. 😉

Ohhh, Maureen....ANOTHER UTI?? Keep downing that water and feel better!

Hiyas to Sara, Ang and everyone else!

Had a night of panic attacks again. I wish they would go away. At LEAST once a month. 😠

I had a light breakfast....strawberries and an English muffin. Not sure about the rest of the day

The sundae I had was SO good. I opted for that instead of a cone. And it didn't do TOO big a number on my blood sugar, thankfully.

This week's challenge in my other group ended today. I didn't reach goal, but I hope to next week.

    Till tomorrow....

    *** August 30 ***

    Good morning all~~

I'm kindof sleepwalking around this morning…. lots of cobwebs in my brain.

Sandy - do you keep a journal? Is there any pattern to the panic attacks? Any subtle triggers? So sad that you have this from time to time.

Maureen - which antibiotic do they give you for the UTI? I was on a cruise in 2024, and the doctor gave me Bactrim. Then this year, for a trip in February, my primary care doctor gave me Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride to take with me on a trip. I didn't need to use it; she said it was better than Bactrim for UTIs. Also I have Uristat over the counter for the general discomfort.

I have only had it a couple of times, but always during times of extreme stress. Hmm….

Sara and Missy and Ang - wishing you a great weekend~

Waves to anyone else who stops by later on ⛱️🌴

    Good Sunday!

Lana, the trigger is usually money worries, which I can't really escape. I do try to relax but it doesn't seem to help. I sometimes I take melatonin, but then I sleep too late. So I deal as best I can…the money issue isn't going anywhere and likely to get worse.

Awww, Missy....that's sweet! Hope you are enjoying your long weekend!
