What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I'm getting together with siblings and their families at a catering company. First year we've done this so we'll see how it goes. I'm looking forward to it. No cooking, no cleaning, and no tempting leftovers.0

turkey day plans tomorrow: wake up naturally probably around 6 or 7am, have a couple cups of coffee, head to gym for a nice sesh around 8ish depending on what time i actually wake up, maybe hit up a movie with my husband and get a bottle of wine while watching, then we have din reservations at 4pm. It's just him and I, so it's pretty low key. I actually very much prefer it like this.2

Hey everyone! Awesome to see all the new "middle-agers"! Feel free to add me. I have added many of you and I am so glad to see all the motivation going on in my feeds.
Today I'm taking a 1/2 day at work, getting in a quick workout in and then on to some "range therapy". I am hoping for a LONG weekend as the week days seem to go by WAY to quick. Also looking forward to that "turkey-induced-coma". Is it wrong to love sweet potato's? I'm SO looking forward to them!
You guys ROCK...keep up the great work and know that its ok to enjoy the Thanksgiving foods in moderation. Hey...why not get a family walk in afterward? Blessings all!1 -

My plans for Thanksgiving include going to my cousin's house. I'm bringing wine and a low-carb app. I plan to drink wine and eat in moderation (not leave feeling stuffed lol). Friday I'm dropping my daughter off with her dad and going to the casino with my sister. Saturday spending the day/night with my boyfriend. Pretty lowkey weekend. Will be missing my college-age daughter this year, but I'll see her at Christmas!2

Hey there peeps, anyone else been trying to bulk up a little but also wanting to lose weight? Been on a 1900 calorie diet for a month and lost 7lbs but wanting to lose more without compromising the bulk I've gained... any advice would be gratefully received.... thanks in advance0

Have you asked your doctor or physical therapist what you can do? Please start there.
If allowable - try some stretching exercises with resistance bands - easy to do at home. After that - kettlebell exercises (particularly swings) will strengthen your lower back. Deadlifts with a kettlebell or barbell if you are able.
I'm 63 - I lift weights two or three times a week. Can't remember the last time I had any back pain. It really helped me.

Patrick - you might want to also pose this question in the Goal:Gaining Weight and Body Building forum and the Fitness and Exercise forum. There are experienced people there who might be able to answer your question.

Hey guys!
I'm Ben, 35, from Montreal, Canada. My mother tongue is French, but English is perfectly fine. I'm a self-employed translator, so I work from home
I'm into soccer, cardio/running and weights. I'm a proud father of three children (9, 6 and 1.5) so I'm fairly busy with them, trying to balance family time, workout time and relaxing time.
Also, my current streak is at 1500+ days, so you can be sure I won't disappear after a week I like to share the motivation and chat a little every now and then
