what NOT to eat

I just stopped drinking alcohol. We will see how long it lasts...
Anyway, I want to get lean. I know WHAT to eat but not what NOT to eat.
Any suggestions as to what NOT to eat so I can eliminate it from my diet and thoughts?

    True but I just want someone to tell me. It's easier than left to my own devices. lol

    But there's no set list of things to eat/not eat-we all have individual preferences, weight goals, fitness goals etc, that will change our calorie and macro intakes from someone elses.

    OP-what are you working towards-weight loss? Fitness goals? Something else?

    Weight loss and fitness goals.

    For weight loss the only thing you need is to be eating at the correct calorie deficit for your weight goals. Doesn't matter what kinds of foods you're eating to make up your calorie intake though. Weight loss, weight gain and weight maintenance is only about CICO :)

    For fitness goals-you may want to play around with macros a bit more, depending on what kinds of exercise you're doing, but I'll let the more experienced fitness people chime in here with more about that :)

    Honestly I agree about not eating foods you don't like. I do not like salad and resent eating it. It makes me cranky and I still crave other food. So now I've eaten salad AND something else which defeats the purpose. Just think it out and know your calories and how much you should consume. I know that sounds simple, but I think eating SHOULD be simple.....
