Hello,
Checking in!
I know it’s been a month or more. I’m over thinking about my DS and my mother’s death in early January. It was dwelling inside of me but I’ve let go! Finally! It took longer than I expected for sure. I haven’t heard from DS for a while now. Now that she took everything a couple of days after DM passed and hauled *ss back to Vegas. That’s ok! I don’t need or want anything!
So, I’ve started tracking my food!
I have new projects in mind:
1. Shredding is never ending, so I’ll be working on that.
2. Gardening
3. Painting the laundry room
4. Cleaning out the garage
Fun things to do to get exercise:
1. Master gardener plant sale
2. Women’s church outings
3. Walking at Garvin Gardens
4. Visit the Arkansas State Parks

I’ll leave y’all with a couple of pictures at Petit Jean State Park at Morrilton.

Well, I found another DVD that I'd be willing to sell someone for the postage (less than $3). It's Gunnar Peterson's Core Secrets Fun-Damentals
And need to give Karen from VA a big congrats.

Sharon from New Brunswick: Welcome again. I'm a Kathy in a generation where there were between 2 and 5 Kathy's in every class I took, with a variety of name spellings. I guess you were in a generation of Sharons. I understand the name frustration. My myfitnesspal name is a combination of my first and last names. Post often and join the conversation.
Karen from VA in CA: Congratulations on Baby Phoenix! A nine pounder! Yay!
We are currently masked into our home while the painters are painting the outside. I begin to understand why our two neighbors went on trips for a few days, and wish I'd caught a clue when they told us about it.:ohwell:

So this morning was a check in and meet the nurse practitioner at the on base clinic. They had no record of my existence...story of my life. Went to records and filled out another authorization to have my previous clinic in Astoria send records to this Navy clinic. She couldn't find the one I had filled out last week. ( Oh come on this is ridiculous)! So then I went back to clinic, and said that records was still processing my record. Instead of telling me that records most likely put me in the system, she just shrugged. I told her I'd call next week to see if I was in there. In the mean time, I just can't refill any of my prescriptions. I sat down and waited for husband to get out of his appt. He asked me what happened and I told him. He said, maybe you're in the system. I had the clinic check, and the records lady had put me in their system. I was able to get an appt, and saw the same nurse practitioner as husband. Got blood labs done and then we exercised. I was easy on myself and did the circuit but with 10 lb weights for everything. I did 15 of each. I did 1.75 miles, at 3.0 pace in the treadmill. I kept my heart rate at 135-140. Supposedly 136 is my target high, for 50 years old bracket. It meant I was using more than 80%.
Presently I'm feeling totally wiped out! Getting up at 5:45 am for early medical appointments is just not my cup of tea!
Take care everyone!

Oldest son had a follow up appointment with his doc and she doubled his Zoloft dose. Thank goodness. Maybe we can begin seeing some real positive progress.

Hello ladies: Weather is supposed to be dry here for the next few days, yay! DD is getting ready for her trip to Ireland. She leaves on Sunday. She is not fond of fish so DH and I will eat more fish while she is gone. lol Took dog walking in the riding arena. It is graveled so she gets wet but not muddy. She found the top for a t-post and carried it around the whole time we were there. What a goof. Eating is going well so far today. Chicken vegetable soup for dinner.
Rebecca - Sounds like you are getting settled in. Moving health records can be a real challenge.
Welcome to the new people.
Karen - Glad Phoenix made his arrival safely. He is a good sized baby.
Dana - Beautiful pics.
Everyone take care, Sue in WA7 -
Karen - What a wonderful gift! A new life.
Felicia - Pleased your son is getting some help. We do all worry about our children so.
Welcome Sharon!
Good going Rebecca!
I am sooooooo tired after my long travelling day. We all got together in the hotel lobby and then walked around the old city walls to my friend's new apartment. It was my first visit. Lovely place with two balconies looking over the river. Had one small glass of champagne to celebrate my book, which had just arrived. Chatted, then went out to a fish restaurant. I had no alcohol. Can't believe how "good" I'm being, but I really like being sober.
The weather is glorious!
Used my phone to find our way back to the hotel. Still drinking the cranberry juice.
Tomorrow we are going to a sculpture gallery and then to Leeds - another big town in the north. Nobody can believe I'm running. I used to be trailing behind them all, out of breath and limping!
Much love, Heather UK xxxxxxx8 -

Hi ladies, too far behind so just jumping in here. Health issues within the family have me spiraling so had to let some things lapse.
DH going to see another heart specialist and also a neurologist for circulation in his legs. DD still suffering from anxiety attacks but working now with dr and in a couple of weeks a counselor. My MRI finally scheduled for next Tuesday, back still hurting as well which I think is from compensating for my foot pain. So feeling high stress which has caused my eating to be out of control. So may not post too often but will be holding you all in my thoughts.
