Hi, 71 here, I've been in AZ for 20 years after reaching my life time quota of rain in the NW! My goal for April is to log my 10th month, lose a few more lbs and get closer to maintenance, hopefully in July. Helen Girlie Brown was interviewed later in life, she said, "You can't be young again but you can always lose 10 lbs." Diet on my fellow travelers!10

Betsey – get counseling, if he will come great – if not a good counselor will give you ideas of how to build boundaries to his bad behavior. Sounds a bit silly, but I have done it and had it work.

Thanks to those who welcomed me and to the one that said you are a very chatty group and it can be a challenge to keep up, oh girl, you are ever so right about that! I haven't really kept up at all. I have near 250 to read just to catch up. Maybe I'll just start over again, since I dropped out of my previous threads. With good weather I'm outside a lot and I'm working on my Family Tree, which consumes huge amounts of time. My diet has not gone so well lately because of eating too much sodium because we've been eating out too much mostly. Today I will start to log again and say no to eating out. The fluid retention and the weight are really bothering me and it's just STUPID to continue to do what doesn't work!!!5

Hi all. I'm 61, Mom and grandmom. Would love to have a group of ladies to take this journey with. This past year has been the most difficult of my life by far. My beautiful grandson, pictured, was killed last May and it has ripped my family apart. I've done nothing for almost a year but sit, eat, cry. I decided a few weeks ago that I MUST make myself get up, get moving, and get control of my weight. I could use some encouragement and support. Hope you have room for one more in your group. Thanks!! Good morning everyone. First time posting here. I would like to share a bit about me. Two years ago I moved from Sunny Florida back home to a very bitter cold state, became depressed, gained weight and chardonnay became my best friend. I was a fitness trainer, yoga teacher and decided to retire. Worst mistake I ever made. I am finally pulling myself up and moving forward! with my goals. First step is to obtain my weight loss goal; get moving outdoors, consistency in the gym and kitchen. Day on starts today!0

1-Get more step on the average for week using Fitbit tracker
2-1200 calories per day
3-Do three things off my ToDoList
4-Stick with my PDM goals
I have not posted since Oct of last year and need to get with the support program that is the only way I am going to beat this uphill battle. I have gained a lot since I was here last – posting that is.
