01/03 - Thursday - 177.4 - Man, its incredible how quickly things snowball! My holiday indulgences have done a number on my habits. I've got all these cravings and little desire to stick to my habits. I know this too shall pass but its currently an uphill battle. Fortunately this time, I know its not the beginning of the end, just another opportunity to hone my skills and habits and learn a little along the way. In past attempts, these stumbles were the end of my journey but not this time - its really a lifestlye change finally!!!
01/04 - Friday - 176.4 - A mildly better day yesterday. I ate fast food at lunch because I was on my own and didnt bring anything. Then I had more fast food for a snack. But I went for a power walk before I left work, and ate a light dinner and it all worked out. Baby steps. I did pack my lunch today, but minimal stuff in the house for food tonight - maybe an aldi shop tonight? Why is it so hard to remember how to eat in healthy moderation all of a sudden? Time to take a look back at my diary and refresh.
01/05 - Saturday - 175.8 - got to Aldi last night, love their pantry staples! Got a plan today to drink my smoothie, have salad for lunch and eat the proper portion size of whatever we decide on for dinner!
01/06 - Sunday - 176.6 - Weekends are still looking like a holiday celebration. Back to work and habits tomorrow!
01/07 - Monday - 176.8 - I went back and read my journal to see what I was doing differently to lose. It really wasnt all that different, I was just being consistent with my morning habits and lunches. So thats what I'm back to focusing on this week; smoothie and supplements for breakfast, pack my lunch, eat a 3PM snack and cook dinner at home. I was also doing 10 somethings (squats/lunges/wall push ups) every bathroom trip and 10 minutes of meditation daily, so working those habits back into the mix as well. The 170's have ALWAYS been like a brick wall to me though, for some reason it has been the end of my journey many many times, but I'm not letting it end me this time!
01/08 - Tuesday - 175.0 - Feeling really determined! Last night I thought I was still starving after dinner (3 scrambled eggs with cheese and 4 oz breakfast sausage) but I think it was just my greedy mind saying "It was a small amount!" So I drank a big glass of water, did some self care, and enjoyed my planned dessert and I was good! Nice to be rewarded with this little whoosh! I've committed myself to a "no-spend" week (except for fuel and bills of course) to give me a little extra accountability and incentive to cook my meals and use what we've got! So far so good - lunches packed today, dinner tonight is chicken and veggie stirfry, will also be lunches for tomorrow. Tomorrow evening will be spinach and feta chicken sausage with roasted potatoes and creamed spinach with parmesan. Thurs lunch will be ham sandwiches and dinner I'll thaw the chicken chili verde I froze last week - If i make it with rice it should be enough for lunches as well, if not I can do tuna sandwich and DH can have frozen burritos. I have a coupon for a free small cheese pizza that I need to use by Sunday, I'll save it for Saturday night after final weigh in and have it to look forward to as my 20% (food to enjoy!)
01/09 - Wednesday - 175.0 - Was kinda bummed to see the same number again but then I got a hold of myself! Continuing with the no spend week. Leftover stir fry for lunch and dinners planned. Feeling good about getting back in the swing of things. Need to plan Friday night dinner, something not super salty so I can see a nice loss this round and keep me motivated.
01/10 - Thursday - 174.8 - Ooooohhh I'm being tested today! Moe's wants me to get a $7 stack and free queso!!!! my favorite clothes store is sending me crazy deals, favorite band announced tour dates and I'm so tempted to get a hotel room NOW. But sticking to my guns on my no spend week. Having chili for dinner so that should cover my mexican food hankering. Work was very dumb yesterday - but @brightresolve gave me some inspiration to just change my attitude for a better day today, thanks!!! I prelogged my food, and its easier to stick to it when I can tell myself, "no deviating from the plan!"
01/11 - Friday - 174.0 - Helluva day already. Want to eat my feelings. Not gonna. Looking to maintain this number tomorrow. Happy friday!
01/12- Saturday - 174.6 - sodium caught up with me from last night. But im really proud of myself for sticking with the plan and not eating my feelings. I'm kinda making up for it today, already started with waffles and syrup and have no good intentions today, except water. But I'll be back tomorrow for the next round regardless!10 -
HAPPY NEW YEAR!Hello everyone! I am excited to finally reach my goals in 2019 (claiming it!!) I’ve been at about a 6month plateau stuck in the 190s...a viscous cycle of lose gain lose gain. 01/12: 194.4 well I am happy I finished this round and I finished lower than what I started. I need to be patient while my body changes. I keep forgetting that while strength training the numbers on the scale move soooo much slower. Really can’t wait to never type 19* lbs however! On to round 210 -

01/11 No weigh.
01/12 183.4 I worked hard for this. I hate when I must travel so close to the end of a round. Water retention after any carbs over 50 is a killer for me when not added in gradually over time. I took Friday to work hard on the bloat. It worked. I also watched the Dr. Westman video and will look for more. See you next round.

Since today is the end of Round 64, I thought I would start here. I am brand new to the group but not a newcomer to MFP. I have read through some of the posts in this thread and think it might be something that I would enjoy trying. I'm "trying again" for probably the hundredth time. I don't want to spend $$ on a gym or WW right now so I'm getting back to MFP and exercising on my own.
SWF, 41 y/o, Central Ohio, GW 170
1/12 - Weight 205.4 - Saturday is usually my day to travel 125 miles East to ride horses. I have been riding reining horses for the last 6 years and am a member of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). I am leasing a horse and he's in training way on the other side of the state, but Saturday is the only day that all of us non-pro's go ride and get lessons from our trainer. We're getting snow today, so I decided to stay home. Being at home means FOOD and no structure. I'm better when I have a routine. Get up, grab a coffee and Tim Horton's bagel, then drive 125 miles, ride 1 or 2 horses for 60 minutes of exercise and a ton of fellowship with my barn-mates, grab Wendy's for the drive home, and then I'm lucky to stay awake the rest of the night when I get home. Easy, right? Left to no plan or structure on a Saturday or a Sunday, I tend to feed my face and be a couch potato ALL DAY. Trying HARD to break that habit......TODAY!
I look forward to checking out this challenge and plan to join up in Round 65 as well. Looking for fun, active (on MFP), inspirational, motivating people.8 -

01/04 285.2 I normally weigh in every morning after I get up and pee so this is a nice way to be able to log everything. *Update on my day although not weight related* Found out my father in law has cancer in the hips and lungs today, feeling so down and bad for my MIL. They are such good people and she lost her dad last January so this is really a blow to her.
01/05 284.9: 9.1 lbs down. Maybe tomorrow I’ll hit 10. 🤞🏾🤞🏾
01/06 286.2: and frustrated. Didn’t lose but gained and was really hoping to hit my 10 lb loss today. I drank some wine last night but was still in my calorie allotment so I’m feeling like it was the pad thai and all those carbs. Anyhow, here’s to a new day. I got a new Fitbit yesterday as well so hoping that will help motivate me with steps and everything. I’ve also had a killer headache since last night and today will probably be a lazy day.
01/07 287.4 and really annoyed now. How the hell did I gain 3 pounds this weekend? I stayed below my calorie limit even though it was a little higher than the last few days. It has to be the carbs. I did read that a Norma daily fluctuation can be 3-5 pounds but it sucks to see any higher number when I’m working so hard to lose. Anyhow, today will be a good day. I have an interview for a healthcare job that I’ve wanted for a while. Luck and prayers are being accepted!
01/08 286.2 Going back down again, thank goodness! I should hear back about the job either today or tomorrow and my stomach is just in knots. I do have another interview today at 1030 but it’s for a job that I don’t really want. School starts again Monday and I’m so ready to get this semester on the road! Hoping to see the scale go down again tomorrow. Here’s to hoping!
01/09 284.6 I got the job! And I’m so close to hitting my 10 lb goal! My father in law had his biopsies done yesterday and we should hear back in a few weeks and find out a treatment plan for him. Binge watching my 600 pound life really motivates me to not want to be on that show. I can’t believe I was almost halfway there before I started to get my *kitten* together. I have really enjoyed this page and the accountability it’s held me to knowing that I will have to post my weight every day. 3 days left, let’s see where we’re at!
01/10 284.0, yay! I mean I’m not happy that I weigh that much but I’m 10 pounds down. I even woke up this morning and did some very light yoga 🧘♀️ and it felt so good. It’s made my body feel better, it put me in a lighter mood, I just feel good. Going to make some black beans in my instant pot tonight. I’m so in love with it.
01/11 283.0, another day another pound. Had to take a drug test this morning for my job and then have spent the morning freezing meals and making beans in my instant pot since I didn’t do it last night. Turned out really good and I got so much. 11 pounds down total, and tbh don’t know how I lost a pound yesterday. I ate bad so I’m wondering if I’m going to wake up heavier tomorrow...guess we will see.
01/12 284.6 I hate seeing my weight fluctuate so much but I know it’s normal. I thought I’d be downa bit more this week and feel like I just need to be more strict with my diet and more motivated to incorporate exercise. I got the boflex weight set yesterday so I can start lifting weights and I’m also going to take my measurements to I can have accurate results since I may be gaining muscle.
Total down 9.1
Down this week 1.8
Where will we find the next thread for this?

Day/Weight/Comment
01/03 = 160 So far so good with my eating. I kind of hate being back on the wagon, but the day is almost over, so very little opportunity left to fall off.
01/04 = 158.5 very happy to see the scale move in the right direct for the first day, even if I know, intellectually, one day's change is pretty meaningless. Today was a good day for moving and good for eating. I found my lost fitbit and stuck it on the charger so I can be more accurate with sleep and step tracking.
01/05 = 158.1 Yesterday was a good day. Hit all my water in and didn't snack late night, even though I really wanted to. Today will be tougher because we are going to a brewery for lunch with friends and they don't have nutritional information available. I have to guess.
01/06 = 157.1 restuarant visit yesterday went well. I'm doing a dry January, so even though we ate at a brewery, I avoided the most dangerous part of eating out. Also, the food was mediocre, so didn't kill me to eat less that usual. I worked out and did yoga. Drank ridiculous amounts of water. I also took a look at my macro nutrient ratios in the app and adjusted them. Yesterday was my first day of being mindful of my ratios (especially eating enough complex carbs... I had to go searching for them)
01/07 = 155.4 The good: I worked out. I did yoga. I met my water goal. I logged my meals and was mindful of my macros. The not so good: I could have eaten more. I am suspicious of the exercise calorie counter and I didn't eat back most of my exercise calories. This was mistake in hindsight. Today will be the real test. Winter break is over. The kids go back to school and I have to find a new routine that works with real life.
01/08 156.1 I'm pretty sure yesterday's weight was a scale fluke and I probably should have stepped on more than once when I saw it drop so much. More than happy to still be on track. I under ate yesterday, which was what I was afraid of. Now that the kids are back in school, I'm out of the house until late, and it makes it hard to eat if eating out is off the table. I did well on water, and ate quality, though. I could have walked more. I need to meal prep today, and that is my major goal for the day. I have been off added sugar and alcohol since the start of the year. Both things that interfere with my sleep and my moods. Both things I love dearly. But, it's been okay so far. I haven't had a time where I've been fighting a craving.
01/09 = 155.6 My challenge goal weight is within reach for sure! Yesterday was a great day. I ate healthy and was very mindful of the food choices I made. I was active all day. More importantly, I felt great. Realizing I'm only six days in to food tracking and only 2 1/2 weeks of being back on the strength training bandwagon, I don't look different from when I began. My clothes fit the same. But I feel different. I feel stronger. I'm carrying myself more confidently. And just happier. All this to say that it isn't the goal weight I'm looking for. Or a size. It is this feeling. This feeling of not being tired from a diet too high in sugar and simple carbs and wine and not exercising. Of being happy with my body and myself as-is.
01/10 = 156 yesterday was rest day. I got in a very long walk while my son was at soccer practice and a short yoga practice in the evening. I think was hurt me was having pho for dinner. Low in calories but high in sodium. After considering it for a while this morning, I've decided it was worth it. It was also a planned lunch with friends. Two days left to make goal.
01/11 = 154.9 Honestly, not a great eating day yesterday. I skipped breakfast and lunch for lack of planning/time. I ended up having to snack on what I had, which was fruit. Not bad for me, but not necessarily great if it's all I'm getting all day. It's just one day, and I can do better. I need to-go protein options, but I hate protein bars. If anybody has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. I got a new fitbit yesterday, the versa, so I've been playing around with it. I need to relax about the scale numbers though. Instead of being happy I've hit my goal, I'm just nervous it's going to bounce tomorrow because I underate yesterday.
01/12 155 Much better eating day yesterday. I missed my strength training workout, but went for a light jog to make up for it (my workout buddy flaked on me). I identified a long term goal of eating less natural sugar. I've been on no added sugar this month, which is difficult for me. But I'm compensating by eating a lot of fruit and sometimes dried fruit. So I'm over my sugar goal every day. I'm not ready to tackle that, yet, as I'm still struggling with added sugar, but I wrote it down as something to be conscious of going forward. My first round is complete! On to the next one!9 -
I lost my way, but was loving this challenge when I was on track. I know it's cliche', but it is a New Year, and I am back. Missed you all!

01/01 - 145.1 ~ (Steps 19,253) ~ I decided to reset my ticker, I’m 3.3 pounds heavier the last New Years but I call that a win. Plus I realize that Round 63 is still going but I need to start focusing on the New Year now. Today I went to a Boot Camp class at the gym, love it....
01/02 143.5 ~ (Steps 12,635) ~ We do anything special yesterday, my husband watched football so I got a couple sessions at the gym. My son was supposed to stop but didn’t, on the bright side on News Years Eve he announced his engagement. My baby is getting married, okay he’ll turn 31 but he’ll always be my baby, My future DIL is adorable such an adorable couple.
01/03 144.4 ~ (Steps 22,887) ~ Another successful day even though the scale is up. I was able to not have a snack last night, which is a win,
01/04 - 145.2~ (Steps 10,196) ~ Unexpected weight gain, lol
01/05 - 145.6 ~ (Steps 19,510) ~ I did sync my new scale so I’m okay with this!
01/06 144.8 ~ (Steps 9,510) ~ I took my grandkids to the Hands On Kids Museum since my daughter had to work, we had a blast. Plus I slept like a baby hanging out with 8 and 4 year old during the day, I’m loving the honesty my scale is having on my journey. Today my main focus is continuing on healthy food choices.....
01/07 - 144.5 ~ (Steps 17,628) ~ Yesterday was a tough day as far as emotionally eating but I didn’t give in, yay!
01/08 143.7 ~ (Steps 19,561) ~ Besides again the day didn’t go as planned I was able to stay focus. The scale is starting to corporate with me, yay!
01/09 145.2 ~ (Steps 19,470) ~ 😈😭😈.....REALLY...........I decided back in December I wanted a new scale that will sync up with MFP since I weigh in every morning. I have accepted the fact that our weight will fluctuate every day due to our sodium, DOM, underestimating our calorie intake and other factors. I’ve been on this journey for a long time so if I have a bad day....I can jump right back on the horse.....But that being said sometimes you just want to toss the scale out the bathroom window. The ONLY reason I don’t my neighbors might not like it, lol.
Even though the scale is up by 1.5 pounds at least the last week I was able to be successful in my food choices and workouts. I’m keeping lots of fruit in the house because LNS is my struggle, I can do this consistency, focus......
Okay, I think my rant is over for now, lol.
The key to weight loss in consistency...
01/10 145.2 ~ (Steps 16,828)
01/11 146.5 ~ (Steps 17,187) ~ Not the best food choices, 👿😢
01/12 143.4 ~ (Steps 24,164) ~ I’m totally surprised my this number since Thursday was a disaster. Yesterday though I was able to get a nice workout at the gym plus a nice run in the evening. I was able to resist sweets even 👍🏼. This 10 days I’m soooo close making my goal, I’ll take it...
👍🏼👍🏼 This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE. 👍🏼👍🏼11 -
ROUND 64 (Round 11 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135-140 lb.
Started Keto WOE on September 24th (2018). Still experiencing decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain since the second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is difficult. I don’t use my KetoMojo meter every day, but I think I’ve only been out of ketosis for a couple of days since the second week when the meter arrived. Some of my NSVs: feeling less self-conscious, wedding band fits, smaller clothing, and my happy husband, whether he’s inspired to quit his cigarette habit or not. Rounds 54 – 63 resulted in a cumulative loss of 29.6 lb. in 100 days! Another 12.4 lb. down, and I’ll switch to maintenance. This time, I’ll continue to check in—I’ve learned my lesson! Besides, I like hanging out with you sweet folks.
Day/Weight/Comment
01/03 147.2 Going back to work yesterday felt strange. I hadn’t been to work since mid-April (end of tax season). I didn’t have time to eat breakfast (egg, cheese, nuts, avocado), so I took it with me, but forgot to eat it. I took my turkey cabbage stew for lunch, which I ate, and I had a good dinner when I came home. On the way home, I picked up a pair of well-fitting black slacks at the Salvation Army Store. It’s a great place for “transition” clothing, and every Wednesday all the clothing is ½ price. My husband loves the inexpensive designer shirts I pick up for him. 😊
01/04 146.6 After playing cards with my friends for a few hours yesterday, I noticed sunshine, so Thor and I took a 4-mile walk. I haven’t formed an opinion on my new orthotics yet. I had a little toe pain, but not enough to slow us down. The torn meniscus in my knee seems to be doing okay. It may just be the steroid injection working, but I hope it’s actually healing.
01/05 [146.0[/B] Thor and I had a 5 mile walk yesterday in the beautiful sunshine. I may show a gain tomorrow after my date day with DH today. We watched a movie, and I ate popcorn, one of the tortillas on my fish tacos for lunch, and half of the sweet coleslaw. They don’t have to make it that sweet. (sigh) I’ve decided to go all out and eat a bite, maybe two, of the leftover pecan pie. It’s starting to get old, but I assume all the sugar is preserving it. My ketone level was over 3 last night, so perhaps I’ll survive today’s carbs without getting out of ketosis? We’ll see. I enjoyed the movie and time with my husband and the popcorn. I really like popcorn.
01/06 146.6 If the scale is going to punish me for yesterday, it hasn’t started yet. I prayed for you, @amfmmamma, but you’ll probably be sore tomorrow! I’m about to head to church, then a concert engagement this evening, so no walk today. Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone. This is the day the Lord hath made! 😊
01/07 146.0 I enjoyed our concert last night. It was the debut of our new “Joy in the Journey” ministry theme. I have the joy of the Lord in my spiritual journey, as well as joy in my fitness journey! We stopped for dinner and our “afterglow” on the way home last night, and I enjoyed a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. I could have gone to work today, but it may be one of the last nice days for a while, so I’ll take a walk with Thor instead. I’m glad I can still work, but it’s nice to be retired and have a choice. Getting older has a few benefits.
01/08 145.8 It was 75F when Thor and I left for our 5-mile walk yesterday. No jacket or layers required! As soon as the fog clears, we’ll walk today, too. My schedule is busier than I like for the next couple of days.
01/09 145.4 Thor and I managed to get in a 5-mile walk before I went to practice yesterday evening. Today, I meet my Red Hat friends for lunch, then work for a few hours this afternoon. No walk today.
01/10 145.2 I’m glad my memory was bad, because I thought I was posting a gain this morning. I feel better now! I’m preparing for a fight with the scale/my body over the next/last 10 lb. loss. Bring it on! I’m feeling strong! I have to meet friends for a card game, stop by work, and, hopefully, take Thor for a walk this afternoon. Rain is almost guaranteed tomorrow.
01/11 144.8 Thor and I increased our walk a little yesterday to 5.4 miles. I’ll go in to work this afternoon, but I hope to walk again tomorrow. Every scale drop encourages me to steel my resolve and reach my goal.
01/12 144.4 I like it! Can’t believe it’s the last day of this challenge round. Time flies! I’m already thinking about how I’m going to maintain after I reach my goal, but one thing at a time! First, I have to reach my goal. I haven’t done my strength training since I started losing weight. I have a specific program I want to follow. I have the DVDs, but I don’t know where I put them. After I walk with Thor today, I’ll renew my search. I love reading the threads. Most of you had a great round, and the rest of you will do better in the next round. No excuses! See you there!

@SarahG626 Welcome! I think you'll be glad you found us. It's easier with encouragement and support. The riding sounds like fun, but not the 125 mile drive! I have a friend with rescue horses only a couple of miles away when I need to ride. I hope you can find activities to keep you off the couch when you're at home. There are a variety of workouts on YouTube. I like DVD workouts. You can start with one that's a little challenging (a kids workout, Billy Blanks "Tae Bo Kicks," got me started), and progress to more challenging workouts. See you in Round 65!
@quiltingjaine Did your eye mask have the bubble eyes so you can blink? I like to sleep in total darkness, but I don't like the flat masks. I use an eye mask every time I go to sleep, even on road trips. My husband rarely snores, and only quietly if he does, so I only use ear plugs if I'm traveling with women who snore. I've found that wax plugs work best for me. I have sleep apnea, my tongue slips back and blocks my air passage, and I snored even when I was young. I had a deviated septum corrected, which helped my breathing, but not my snoring. I had a balloon sinuplasty procedure, which I regret. It gave me the ability to snore through my nose when my mouth is closed! My husband saw the "Pure Sleep" adjustable mouth device advertised on TV. I tried other devices that didn't work, and I was skeptical. Anyway, to please him, I gave it a try. It worked! Now, he gets a quiet rest every night. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz3 -

Looking for fun, active (on MFP), inspirational, motivating people.
Hi Sarah! You can always make the couch work with some seated exercises so you don't feel guilty ~ you'd be surprised how many reps you can get in 😃 I call it the best of binging, lol ~ good luck and welcome to the group 💪4 -

01/08 145 Sorry everyone, I havent posted here since a little after Christmas I think. I was having a tough time getting myself motivated, and I gained 4 pounds over Christmas and New Years. Finally feeling better about things. Lost the 4 pounds I gained, thank goodness. Also decided to give intermittent fasting a try, today is day 2. I think it'll really help me because it'll cut out late night snacking. Going to try and catch up on everyone's progress today and tomorrow 😊.
01/09 145 Happy with myself for not giving in to LNS! It's tough. Coffee has really helped though. Fortunately coffee doesn't keep me up, so I can drink it any time of the day.
01/10 144 Met my goal for the round yay . This has been my first "real" loss in exactly 1 month from today.

01/12 144 looking forward to the next round. Good luck everyone10 -
HAPPY NEW YEAR!Hello everyone! I am excited to finally reach my goals in 2019 (claiming it!!) I’ve been at about a 6month plateau stuck in the 190s...a viscous cycle of lose gain lose gain. I am going to pay more attention to my nutrition, drink more water, and increase intensity of my workouts . Let’s do this!
01/12: 194.4 well I am happy I finished this round and I finished lower than what I started. I need to be patient while my body changes. I keep forgetting that while strength training the numbers on the scale move soooo much slower. Really can’t wait to never type 19* lbs however! On to round 2
Hey Lady T! Do you measure yourself too? Sometimes you'll see the loss with the tape and not just on the scale ~ especially when you're weight training. We know you got this!! See you next round 🙂

@aFit50 Congrats on the 6.3 lb loss! Phenomenal! LOL on the eyes and toes.....
@tiabirdie56 When you said you were reigning in those carbs, you weren't kidding! It's really helping, Great Job!
@quiltingjaine Congrats on the 120's. You've come so far and in such a healthy way. Thanks BTW for the Dr. Westman suggestion. I've been watching.
@SarahG626 Welcome! You are going to love it here! We shall see you in Round 655 -

In late!
Woman, Age 47, 5'6", Celiac disease
OSW: 252
Round 64 SW: 217.2
1/7—217.2—Hello friends and friends-I-haven't-met-yet! I hope everyone had some break time. I had some vacation days, some lounging about days, and some recharging my batteries for 2019 days. I'm starting this round at almost the same as my start weight for round 62, which pleases me.
1/8—219—Digestive whammy. I forgot to mention yesterday that I'm continuing on my quest to be able to do 100 pushups by the end of 2019. When I started, I could do 4. Now I can do 20! The program I'm using requires me to hit certain goals before I can move on to the next level, and I need to get to 31 before I can move on. In the meantime, I'm repeating week 4 a few million times.
1/9—221—Yikes! Okay, I know I ate some gluten free puff pastry treats last night, but this amount of water retention is insane. There is obviously pufferfish in my family tree.
1/10—220—Frankly, I think the loss is because I weighed in later than yesterday. But hopefully I can figure out what's going on digestively. I know that it isn't gluten, since I have cooked all of my meals for the last week with no chance of cross contamination. But something is a bit wonky!
1/11—220.2—A little bump up because this weigh-in is 2 hours earlier than yesterday. That's not a big deal, but obviously I'm still holding onto some water. My ring is a little tight and my tummy a little upset. Good times! On the plus side, I finished week 4 of my push up program (again) last night, so on Saturday I again get to try what's called an exhaustion test where I just do as many push ups as I can and try to get to 31 so I can move on. I'm not super confident, but I think (and hope!) that I'll improve on last week's mark of 20. Can I do 25? That would be AMAZING.
1/12—216.4—Water retention feels like a roulette wheel sometimes. Round and round it goes, what you'll weigh, no one knows! But, check this out. I DID 31 PUSHUPS. I just whipped 'em out like it was nothing. (Okay, the last one was nearly a faceplant, but still!) Week 5, I'm coming for you.11 -
I’m a bit late but I’m in. I start Keto tomorrow. Promised myself I’d give that plan a month and reassess then.
CSW -191.8
CGW -188.8. (Looking for a 3 pound loss)
1/5 - 191.8
1/6 - 191.2 (-.6 total so far) Keto starts today.
1/7 - 190.6 (-1.2 total)
1/8 - 189.4 (-2.4 total) Keto seems to be working so far. Very structured which is good for me and I’m pushing the water too.
1/9 - 187.0 (-4.8 total) WOW WOW WOW!!! Pretty dang excited about this! I know a lot of this was water weight as that toilet was getting a work out yesterday! Keto is my friend right now and of course the hard work I’m putting into it to stay strict and focused. Knocked this rounds goal out of the park! Keep moving down and forward.
1/10 - 186.6 (-5.2 total) still working it.
1/11 - 186.4 (5.4 total)
1/12 - 185.0 (-6.8 total) I had a very successful round and first week of jump start strict Keto. Tomorrow I get to incorporate a bit more variety into my Keto Diet. Ready for the next round.

@texasfarmer Impressive round! Another woman on a mission!3 -
Back again for another round! I gotta quit slacking though. I had a really great first round and a couple disappointing rounds since then. I'd LOVE to lose anything over 2lbs. Even 2.1 would be exciting.

This is my eleventh round. Just realized that despite a gain last round, I not only made my goal of being 155 by Christmas, but that I kept that til after Christmas too! We have one more party Jan 5, which we are hosting. The good news is I've already tried all the food! I have 10 more pounds to reach a healthy/normal BMI, and I think I may go down a little from there. I'm thinking that my UGW is 135. I'm posting mini goals below.

1/03 -- 154 -- There we go. Back again to pre-Christmas AND pre-New Year's weight. Did 45 minutes of zumba followed by a 35 minute jog on the treadmill (too rainy to go outside). Was super tired at the end of the day, so went to bed early and slept 9 hours. Of course it might have just been procrastination over cleaning and prepping for the party we are having Saturday!

1/05 156
1/06 157
1/07 157.5
1/08 158 -- Just caught up on everyone's posts. My week has beena mess. We had our party Saturday 1/5, so I wasn't surprised I was up a little on 1/5 and 1/6, but the continued climb is irritating me! I worked out a ton yesterday. 1 hour fast walk, 1 hour strength class, 1 hour zumba, 31,000 steps. Could be the extra exercise that made today's weight high. TOM also decided to pay a visit. Seriously? Thought I was over TOM! It could, however, be the cause of cravings/bloat/weight gain. Trying to hold on this round and get back into the swing of things. Treats lying around the house aren't helping either!
1/09 158 -- At least it levelled off. Definitely feel and look bloated today. Blaming TOM. Frustrated....but not losing it quite so much today!
1/10 156.5 -- Was so happy to see this number today! Mentally I know to stick to the plan, but the scale was really trying to get the best of me this week! Yesterday I missed my walk, but did strength training and zumba. Ate really well until a slight cookie fest before dinner. Still within calories. Hoping to be back to start weight by end of round.
1/11 156 Forgot to check in
1/12 155 Well the good news is I made it back to where I started this round, despite the frightening blip in the middle. Expecting a better run next round. Exercised my butt off this week. Apparently @abowersgirl and I are both very competitive when it comes to FitBit challenges!

@MadisonMolly -- Incredible achievement!
@iLadyT -- Remember this whole thing is a slow process, and the your body will go up and down on it's way down! The point of the 10 days is to see what happens in 10 days and NOT fret the daily roller coaster! Down over a pound for this round! You've got this!
@tlgale -- exercise is a bit weird and sometimes you retain water after....but don't fret!
Great losses this round!7 -
Some posts mentioned chair workouts. Below is a cardio bed (or chair) workout. This Quickie Chick lady, Laurel House, sounded a little sketchy to me when I first checked out some of her one minute workouts to do at work (2012?). She has some great workout ideas for times when it's not convenient to do a full workout. I'm still looking for the one minute workouts. This is a great workout for people who can't do much with lower body for various reasons.
