Very different breakfast from my normal routine. Massaged kale, olive oil, fresh corn, and red onion, with a homemade honey mustard dressing.

Just wondering, does massaging kale make it any less nasty? 🀣
@nighthawk584 lol. I usually like kale in cooked dishes, but when you’re eating it raw, it’s naturally very tough. When you add a glug of olive oil and massage it (like kneading dough) for 3-5 min, it breaks down the fibers, releases sucrose, and makes the texture into a nice tender salad-leaf.

Had it at 11.30ish, which is the break between my 3 hour lecture.

    45g oats
    15g Sunwarrior chocolate protein powder
    70g frozen banana
    70g frozen cherries
    16f crunchy peanut butter
    Water

Microwaved it all for 2 minutes. This is my most common breakfast.

Plus two cups of coffee, one with cow milk and one with coconut milk (trying to cut down on dairy for the planet)
