Did one segment of 10MS Fitness Ball Workout DVD. The extremepump class was cancelled right before I got there so I did a Tony Little Total Body DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Reebok Step DVD. I also have to go to the dentist tomorrow for the start of prep for the bridge.
Barbara and M – yes, yes, yes…that is it!!! Oh, thank you ever so much. To know that I can get a replacement from Amazon…I will be forever in your debt.
M – congrats on the run
Pip – how scary. Hope he’s better soon. I know the vet will help him. Did you know that hydrogen peroxide will take blood out of clothing, etc. Depending on how much blood there is, you may have to use the hydrogen peroxide a few times. But it will take the blood out of clothing, carpets, etc.

Exermom-try Ebay for the spoon rest. If that doesn't work google the item, not the company.

I have finally read the past 4 pages of this post. Lazy Monday. Had to get a needle and thread together for my granddaughter as she is taking sewing classes at school(3rd grade). Her birthday is next month so I ordered her a sewing kit which has everything in it. I go for a walk every morning if weather permits. Right now listening to Christmas music. I signed a lot of cards over the weekend so they are ready to go, but still more to go. Now to figure out supper.4

Maritill ~ Hi! I have a granddaughter in 3rd grade also. She loves to draw and paint. For her birthday this year she was allowed to get her ears pierced. What shall we call you (or did I miss that) and where are you located?

Michele - I used to do a lot of baking with the two older ones, but the problem is the big difference in ages. 8 - 3 is a big gap. This time we tended to separate the older ones together and Bea on her own. I hope to do some baking when we have just two of them, or one.
This morning I had done my machines and was about to start the mat work and weights when I got ambushed by an email from KDP publishing. I decided there and then to do my tax, which has to be in by the end of the month.
I managed it, with a lot of cussing, by lunch.
Posted it off this afternoon.
DH was struggling with the printer which had an item stuck in the queue that was preventing us from using it. He was very bad tempered, but persevered and had conquered it by the time I got back from a supermarket trip.
I made a delicious lamb, spinach and pea curry this evening. Perfect!!!!!

Lanette: Thanks for your kind thoughts. I had no problems with my sinuses traveling to see DD & the kids but was clearly getting symptoms during the flights home. DGS had a constant runny nose from the time we got there until I left. Poor kid. I’m quite sure he was the source of my sinus infection. :ohwell:
(((Pip))) Sending good thoughts to your poor furbaby. I hope the vet finds a cause that is can be fixed.
Barbie: I haven’t been in the same state with my computer until yesterday. I’ll try to put the photos onto the computer as soon as I get my own health cleaned up. :ohwell:
(((Rori))) Good luck to your brother.
I have a 1:30pm appointment with my doctor to take a look at my possible sinus infection. I don’t know whether antibiotics will work, but I do know that I need to get sleep to heal and last night was sleepless.

Katla - I had a sinus infection a few years ago and I knew that is what it was. I suffered about 1.5 weeks and when I felt like my brain was oozing out my orifices, I went to Urgent Care. I felt better within hours after taking antibiotics and was mostly fully functional within 24 hours. Hope you feel better soon.2

Machka-- Very interesting about the music. Thanks for sharing.
Kim--Sorry the talk with your mom did not go well. But you know in your heart you only want what is best and that you love her. But when embrassed we all react different.
Rori--So sorry to hear DB is drinking again. I know we had a friend years ago staying with us and he would say he wanted to stop and then would sneak it in. Because I have a problem with drinking we had to ask him to leave as could not have it in the house. It has been over 13 years since I have taken a drink and I am stronger now, but still don't want it in the house.
KateUK--Sounds like a very stressful visit. Glad it was not heart and they are feeling better soon.
Pip--Sure hope the vet was able to help.
Well I did not have a good weekend. I did something to my back and was unable to move much. Did make it to church yesterday. I have slept with the tens unit on last 2 nights and does feel some better.

Michelle in NC - I don't know what you are trying to make with the gelatin; if you use Sure-Jell - you have to follow the directions right on, no changing the order of the directions. If you do - it will NEVER turn out; it will either be runny or very thick. I made some 'hot' pepper jelly once with every king of 'hot pepper' I could find (needed to add water to it at the beginning, but did not 'think' about that. So it came out like a thick spread. Tasted good but so thick we have to take a spoon to dig it out. At least when the hurricane hit, was without power for 5 days; so it got thrown out. Along with the plastic Tupperware where I had frozen my credit cards. Oh well; been 2 years and no activity on any of them.
I had a bit of trouble getting into MFP today; but, succeeded after changing password.

Drizzly day today. I have my DS's dog right now and usually take the dogs out for a run in the pasture but couldn't leave them out for long. Horses and goats are all huddling in their shelters. Still trying to figure out financing for new roof, very depressing.
Kim - Hope things work out with your mom.
Everyone take care Sue in WA6 -
Vicki - hope your back feels better soon.
Kate UK - sorry your weekend was stressful. The best laid plans............ Hope the heart infection clears up OK. ....
Just found out from Facebook that there is no dancing tomorrow. Good job I looked! I had bought easy food for an early dinner, but that's no problem. To be honest, I am not too sad as the change of venue has rather dampened my enthusiasm. It is now a long walk though the back streets, or having to take the car, instead of a nice short stroll along the sea front. We will go, but I am glad of the break.
DH's younger daughter has had a reprieve of her redundancy, after DH worried himself to death. She offered to go and take the money, but they begged her to stay!!! It is really only postponing the inevitable as the magazine is failing, but she loves the lifestyle.
I haven't heard anything from the cleaner. I will text her tomorrow.

Today is Back to the Future Day!
"In 'Back to the Future Part II,' Marty McFly travels to October 21, 2015, to save his children, yet to be born in 'Back to the Future's' 1985. ... As with other movies dealing with the future, such as '2001: A Space Odyssey' (set in the early 2000s) or 'Blade Runner' (set in 2019), the predictions of 'Back to the Future II' are hit or miss: big-screen TVs, yes, Mr. Fusion, no; virtual-reality goggles, yes, 'Jaws 19,' no."
SueBDew - Ooh, I'm envious of your fig tree! We had one at our last house but we had to move before I got any figs. Maybe this winter I'll plant one here.
Machka - A couple of weeks ago we met a man who was performing a live set at one of our local taprooms. It was just him, a guitar, and a "band-in-a-box," and he told us after the show that he also does performances at memory care facilities. He uses the band-in-a-box to mimic the original background music as best he can and adjusts his vocal style to make his performance as close as possible to the style the residents would have been familiar with. He says he's seen residents who were non-vocal break out into song during his performances. That research on music and Alzheimer's is just fascinating.
Okie - Oh, yes, reading in the bathtub is one of the biggest rewards of winter time! We bought an old clawfoot this spring and it's waiting for me to get it rehabilitated and installed in our larger bathroom in place of the conventional tub. I can't wait!
Pip - Your poor baby! Hope they got him fixed up at the vet.
Guess the little funk last week was allergies, because I never did get any worse and I'm feeling OK now. The plants around here have all gone haywire because the weather is so weird they don't know what to do and pollen counts are high.
Over the weekend we had an unexpected doggy visitor. As Philip and I were walking home from a restaurant in the dark, a big dog barked at us a bit then darted out into the street right in front of two cars. The second one very nearly hit him. I couldn't leave him running loose after that. He was wearing a tag with a phone number on it, but that number went straight to voice mail. So I posted to our community watch group on Facebook and got some clues about where he might belong. Eventually we just took the big goofball home with us and let him spend the night in our back yard. In the morning I googled the name that came up on caller ID when I called the number from the tag and was able to find an address and walk him over there. Just as we arrived I got a text from his owner, who didn't hear the voicemail until morning. So it worked out well for everyone and Goldy is home now. He was a sweet boy. We've gotten used to our Luna but it was fun to have a big dog around again!
Time to put on a bra... I'm going to take a quick break and go join a new gym. I mostly joined the first one to avoid having a buy a rowing machine. I did ask if they had them and they said yes, but I didn't actually look when I joined. Turns out what they call a rowing machine is really just a deltoid pull machine. Anyhow, my membership there expired so I walked in to the other gym last week to make sure they had real rowing machines. Think I'm going to get them to show me all the weight machines so I can get on a strength training program. Eventually I'd like to try free weights but until I build some muscle I'm probaby better off with the machines for now.

Pip- Yikes! Poor Floyd! Hope the doc was able to fix him up! Do your dogs have access to your backyard at night? Could he have met up with a cat or other animal? Maybe found a sharp spot on the fence? Poor guy!1
-
UPDATE on FLOYD: just picked him up from the doc. They cleaned him up some more. Hopefully he will stay calm enough and not shake his head to give his ear enough time to clog. If he starts bleeding again , will have to take him to the ER so they can cauterize to stop the bleeding. They didn’t have that at the vet. He as an appointment tomorrow for an ultrasound, he may have a tumor or cancer. We will know more tomorrow. Thank u all for your thoughts and prayers. This group is truly like no other. Will keep you posted, they are thinking cancerous polyps. Our kids are inside dogs, they don’t stay outside for the night
