@katarina005 good work! Getting that mile done can be so incredibly difficult, but you made it happen!
@katharmonic wow! 20lb vests! I can’t even deal with a camelback, let alone TWENTY pounds! Good job!0 -
So my new running coach just started following me on Instagram. Problem is, my feed is mostly cake and cocktails. Oops.17

Everyone, we can watch @LoveyChar ‘a marathon here!

They’re just a few minutes to start! I wrote down her bib number the other day and she’s not started yet.
@LoveyChar WE ARE ROOTING FOR YOU!!!6 -
I got home, hung up my medal and colored in NC. This is how you know the medal is from a Big *kitten* Medal race:

If it helps, it looks like the Little Rock Marathon medals are about the same size and that is coming up in 2 weeks... not sure if that is too close for your schedule or if the location even works, but just an idea.1 -

That link won't work for me either, but I went through the marathon's webpage - under tracking athletes, put in her bib #. Hopefully she doesn't mind us tracking, but she did post her number on here She's about halfway now.4 -

I actually live in Northwest Arkansas - so Little Rock is not too far, but it IS too soon. I am running my first ever marathon in April!4 -
8-mile trail run/walk/salad bar munching with the doggo yesterday. We averaged about 15-minute miles which is pretty good for her. We take a lot of breaks for her. I think we were average 13-minute move time.
We're at about 26 miles this month. Not as much as I would like but not too worried about it either.5 -
Looks like she’s made it 18.6 miles so far. Go @LoveyChar !3

@ContraryMaryMary
LOL! That made me giggle! I don't have a running coach but my instagram is primarily cocktails, food and the occasional sunset. Maybe set up a "finstagram" as my daughter would call it and post pictures of kale salads, water and the occasional "long run" pic. Let the coach follow that one3 -
@LoveyChar
hope it was a great experience! It was unusually humid in Austin today and the race was late getting started! So impressed that you are running it! My husband finished right after the winner of the marathon....and he ran the half! That winner basically lapped him. An impressive time!5 -
My running goals for 2020 are to build up endurance and speed while staying healthy. Strength goal - lose body fat and gain some muscle and work on flexibility.
February goal : 60 miles
Race: Cap 10K in April
Date/Distance:
2/1 - Yoga/strength day
2/2 – 7.1 miles
2/3 – Slow Flow Yoga
2/4 – 4.2 miles
2/5 – Walked 1.5 miles, Strength Circuit
2/6 – Ran 2.5 miles on treadmill, cycled at gym
2/7 – 3 miles
2/8 – Strength circuit, indoor cycle
2/9 – Walked 7 miles. Didn’t hurt too much and was nice to loosen up a bit.
2/10 – Yoga today, then PT (airrosti ) on the hip.
2/11 – walked 1.7 at Gym ( PT stretch routine) and treadmill/elliptical
2/12 – elliptical/cycle day
2/13 – PT Routine/Treadmill walk 1.5 miles
2/14 – walked 4.4 miles
2/15 – Yoga/gym day
2/16 – 7.1 mile run, with some walking
Monthly total – 40 miles
I got back out to the trail today after dropping off husband for the ATX half marathon. I purposely ran slow and walked here and there to not stress out the hip. It felt pretty good and I remembered to stop and stretch along the way. Really hoping it feels good tomorrow. It’s going to be 78 here today – thank god the marathon was early – in the 50’s for start. Too warm!🌞

Hopefully @LoveyChar can feel us cheering her on! It looks a tough day out there!2

5 miles for me, today. I played more with speed, since I wasn't looking for any sort of distance record. That was fun!
