Nice run @polskagirl01 ! Don't we all run so we can eat what we want? Wish I had an area like that to run in.
Well, I did have to watch out for guys with chainsaws today. I mean, they probably wouldn't've bothered me, but I turned around. Also another guy was loading a logging truck with a big grappler. The place is under the authority of the department of forestry (or whatever it's called), and it does appear that they trim or harvest certain sections at a time and replant, so hopefully it's all being done responsibly and with purpose. Different "blocks" of the forest are in different stages of growth. I love it there.

Today was long run day and I took it slow - to the same forest I drove to yesterday, through the forest and then back, checking out a bunch of side paths, most of which turned out to be difficult to walk on, let alone run. It was slow, but my longest run this year (29k) and I'm not even sure why I'm going so long when I'm not training for anything. I did mostly enjoy it, though... and I've been in a deficit trying to lose a couple of pesky kg and now I can have fish & chips today and still stay on track.

    Is that a hunting blind?
That's what it looked like to me, but I'm not sure what they actually do with it. Hunting is not nearly as popular here as it is in the States. I saw several tree stands on the side-paths today, but this one was by far the nicest.

@kgirlhart all of us are showing completed in the Runkeeper app, but yours is the only one that hasn't shown up in the results page on the website. Probably just slow updating. I'm sure it will show up in a day or two.

I ran my leg of the Ekiden, but so far on the results page it still shows my leg as not completed. It also shows the 4th leg not complete. I think that was @polskagirl01. Is anyone else having issues?)
Wrote out my response before checking... looks like we're all there now! YAY!

At the risk of being cheeky, I know at least one person has their PastorVincent medal. Has anyone else received theirs? I know covid + international means it could take months. I just start getting nervous...

ETA yet RaceRoster hasn't managed to discover and clean out the guy with the ridiculous world record smashing results at the very top of their leaderboard. If people are gonna hop on a bike and cheat, at least do believeable times LOL :D

Had body pump last night, and hoping to get in a run tonight. Depending on how late I get home, it may be a treadmill run at the gym.

Coldest morning so far this Fall (27F) but I was dressed ok for it and didn't get cold at all once I got out of the warm car and started moving.

@quilteryoyo – I don’t think I have ever dreamed about running. Definitely not a chariot race! Did you watch Chariots of Fire recently? 😊 My recurring dream theme always involves the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of bathrooms. I don’t know what that says about me but I do like a clean restroom!

    Loving all your pictures @polskagirl01!

@Avidkeo – No medal for me either. @Camaramandy648 – have you received any shipping updates?

    Welcome to the group @62Rich!

Hahaha @Teresa502 . I have no idea why I would have dreamed about a chariot race. I saw Chariots of Fire in 1982, I think. Not since then. No Roman movies or anything. Funny that you dream about bathroom cleanliness. In my dreams, I seem to always be losing things...hats, shoes, clothes, my way to someplace familiar, etc. I'm sure there is some deep psychological thing there somewhere.

I had my yearly physical yesterday and happy all my blood work was good, she told me I lost 25 lbs since last year, which is good since I gained a bunch of weight before that. Slowly going in the right direction.
Congratulations! I also had my yearly physical yesterday! I don't have my blood work results yet though and I definitely did not loose 25 pounds!

I did get my steps in yesterday. So far, only one day under 10K.

Today, I did another easy treadmill run. I know you all probably think I am crazy because it was 50°F, sunny, with a light breeze outside and I chose the treadmill. Some days it's just easier.
