Hi Linda, we had a cold day out there but with lots of clouds. I came in for the early bird special of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, carrots, and coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream and an iced mocha. I'm a little chilled so I'll stay inside by the fire place. It's still snowing out there. Maybe it should stop soon, or the cafe will be buried. I think people decorate for any holiday, but our Igor loves all holidays.

Hi, Zzyyggy. I’m joining you by the fire for dessert. I ordered brownies and coffee. Sweetie wants ice cream on his brownie. We had a real nice day today and the clouds started rolling in around 3:00 pm. I was so excited because I thought we’d have rain by tomorrow morning. No, no rain until Friday at 5:00 pm and then only for a couple of hours. I’m so disappointed. We might get .5 inches. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to go up to 71 degrees. Yup. Next chance of rain in nine days. Good thing I can have snow at the cybercafe. We’ll have to tunnel through the snow to the barn if we want to help doing chores.

Hi Linda, I'm starving tonight after all that tunneling, and snowman building. I'm going to have the fried scallop platter with french fries, coleslaw, seafood chowder and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some of those brownies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat by the fireplace again. We'll keep the snow over the weekend. Lets see what the ground hog saids on Sunday.

Zzyyggy! It’s after midnight, but I can’t sleep. Sweetie has the news on replaying the airplanes crashes over and over again. It’s becoming overwhelming, yet Sweetie keeps watching, so I’ve stayed up with him. I’m sure chocolate would be helpful right now. I’ve asked Viktor to bring a mocha cafe over to the dining room alcove lounge (what is that area called). A plate of chocolate covered caramels would be good and M&M’s, of course. Oh, brownies. My favorite iced brownies—iced with vanilla buttercream.

I made salmon, broccoli, and salad for dinner. So Saturday dinner is up to Sweetie. He says he’s going to make stew. Sounds good to me. We’re having warm weather, about 15 to 20 degrees above normal. It’s been really windy the last couple of days, too. We had about half an inch of rain Friday evening. Thank goodness there’s still some snow left at the cybercafe.

Oh, Sweetie says it’s time for bed. Finally!

Hi Linda, Stew sounds really good to me as well. Infact I think I'll have some at the cafe with lots of dinner rolls, and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some klondike bars and an iced mocha. I hear you on the news. I try not to get on it until later in the day. I'm always afraid of what I'll hear. We had lots of sunshine today but it was cold with a blustery cold wind. I got in a walk this morning though. I think after tomorrow the cyber cafe should go back to the tropical weather. Although I do like the snow sculptures Igor is making out there.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Sweetie’s stew was delicious. I asked him what he wanted for dessert and he said a chocolate espresso sundae. Viktor added lots of chocolate curls to the top of the sundae, so Sweetie was pleased. I ordered a nice hot coffe mocha, plus I have my stash of M&M’s. 😋.

The weather forecast is crazy this week. The daytime temperatures will be down as low as the low 50’s and up as high as the mid 70’s. The forecast looks like a rollercoaster. Well, I guess it’s time for the weather to warm up at the cybercafe cafe.

Hi Linda, we're having the same weather roller coaster ride as well. Two days of freezing cold, with a couple of days above 30 degrees. What's worse is that the rodent predicted another 6 weeks of winter. Yes it's back to the tropical weather at the Cafe. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the Sunday baked ham dinner with scalloped potatoes, and string beans and a coca cola. Lots of dinner rolls with that. For dessert I'll have some klondike bars and an iced mocha. I'll eat in the dining room tonight by the fire. It was cold out there in the real world. I see Igor has taken down the ground hog day decorations, and has started with Valentine's day. Not too many cupids up there Igor.

Zzyyggy, I wouldn’t mind six weeks more winter. Here, southeast of Charlotte, winter looks more like springtime anyway. Our neighbor’s cherry tree is probably going to bloom again (it blooms three times a year) and the daffodils next door will be up soon. I’m feeling chilled right now. I think I’ll join you by the fire. I ordered a large mocha cafe with some of the mini chocolate dipped almond biscotti Francois made today which would be the perfect dessert. Sweetie wants a mini charcuterie plate with meats, cheese, crackers, and fruit. I promised him some of my biscotti. Viktor will be right in with a pot of coffee for Sweetie, as well as our mochas—one hot for me and one iced for you. Extra whipped cream, anyone?

Hi Linda, if the rest of winter would be like today I wouldn't mind either. We had temps in the 30s with lots of sunshine. Lots of wind as well though. Got in a walk this morning. For dinner tonight I would love a quarter pounder with cheese, those famous fries, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a chocolate/vanilla twist with an iced mocha. Aaaaah to sit outside in the warm balmy sunshine, and listening to the tropical birds. I'll go for a swim before dinner in the now red pool. Oh my there are hearts and cupids everywhere now.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Gee, there’s an almost 40 degree difference between Burlington and Charlotte. We did have a beautiful day today. Of course, by 4:00 pm I was so tired I took a nap. When I woke up I thought it was morning instead of 6:30 pm. Nothing in the refrigerator has inspired me to make dinner. Perhaps I can order the breakfast special and Francois can make a ham and cheese omelet, vegetable and potato home fries, and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese 🥯. There are so many things on my order I can’t eat, so I figured I’d stay with that theme and order strawberry shortcake with strawberry ice cream 🍨, topped with fudge sauce and whipped cream. Sweetie decided he’d like the same order.

Yes, Zzyyggy, Igor has gone overboard on the Valentine decorations. I’m not sure how he managed the red silk on the dining room alcove walls. Um, it’s arresting. I have to admit the red, white, and pink tablecloths and slipcovers for the chairs and couches look stunning against the red background. And I don’t think the fish mind swimming around the decorations in the aquarium at all.

Hi Linda, we had sunshine today, and reasonable temps, but that wind coming from the north was strong and cold. Got in a swim though, and then walked home from the Y. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a Bacon and lettuce grinder with mayo. Chips and a coca cola with that please. For dessert I'll have a fresh from the oven large chocolate chip cookie and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight and enjoy the warm tropical sun. Maybe later we'll have a bonfire with some s'mores.

Zzyyggy, it was 79 degrees here today. Not our normal temperature, but tomorrow we’ll see temperatures in the mid 50’s.

I think I’ll have the cookie and coffee and save the s’mores for another time. Then it’s time for bed.

Hi Linda, I would love to have 79 degrees. We had 15 degrees today with lots of sunshine, and a cold north wind again. Expecting more snow tomorrow. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big plate of spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of devil's food cake with chocolate ice cream, and an iced mocha. I'll enjoy the tropical sunshine again on the terrace. I love the birds.

Hi, Zzyyggy. No snow here in the Charlotte area, although the temperature dropped 25 degrees from yesterday. We’ll be back in the 70’s until Monday. I’m late coming in tonight, but Viktor still made sure I had a nice cup of tea and a piece of lemon pound cake. I’ve decided to order an omelet for tomorrow morning to have with my coffee and the basket of baked goodies Viktor always places on each table in the morning.

Hi Linda, we had snow today, all day. I'm glad I got a walk in this morning before it started. I didn't go swimming as I had planned. I'll eat out on the terrace again and watched the sunset.

I came in early enough to have dinner with you and watch sunset at the cybercafe tonight. The sun is just going down at home—Charlotte’s sunset is 45 minutes later than Burlington’s today.

Hi Linda, your sunset maybe later now, but during the summer ours won't set until after 8:30 some nights. We had snow and cold today. Cold North winds blowing. I didn't get out. Zzyyggy, I wouldn’t mind if the sun went down at 5:00 pm in the summer, it would be so much cooler. I guess I’ll have to move south of the equator for the summer. Nah. Looks like you’ll have snow storms over the next week or so. I’m so jealous. We’re supposed to have rain. In fact, our local tv station says we had rain this evening. I don’t consider 0.02 inches of rain enough rain to even report. We’re supposed to have rain throughout the next week. Hmm.

I love the cybercafe. Francois, the cybercafe’s famous chef, made macaroni and cheese for me. He called it pasta primavera. All I know is the veggies were delicious. Mm, this apple pie and ice cream was an excellent choice for dessert Zzyyggy.

Wow, the noise in the Cybercafe Pub is loud tonight. This place is decorated for the Superbowl tomorrow. We’ll be watching the game, but neither of us have picked a favorite. Gee, it’s really crowded in here. I suppose Zzyyggy is out on the terrace right now enjoying her iced mocha. I’ve got my cowboy boots on and there’s a live band tonight. Sweetie and I are going dancing right here at the Pub. We had a real nice Cybercafe Pub dinner with barbecue, steaks and all the fixins, and the Pub’s own porter.

Hi Linda, wow I lost a day somewhere. Oh well. I'm here. The place is crowded, and the big screen television is set up for the Super Bowl or puppy bowl which ever you may prefer. I'm going to go down to the pool and watch the puppy bowl after a swim. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the Sunday prime rib dinner again with baked potato, salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies and an iced mocha. It's so nice and warm here in the tropical sun. It's snowing this afternoon after a break from this morning's snow. It's a mild 26 degrees out there with no wind.

Halftime. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a halftime show that I liked. At least I got the kitchen clean. Time for dessert at the Cybercafe Pub. I’m going to have some of the dark chocolate covered caramels Francois made. Jorge is manning the bar and he makes a great cup of coffee. Coffee with cream and sugar and chocolate covered caramels for dessert. 😋

Hi Linda, Interesting half time show. I'm not a real big foot ball fan, and ever since they moved the Super Bowl to night time I don't even watch the commercials anymore. I wait until they come out on Youtube. Next Holiday up is Valentines Day. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big bowl of beef stew with lots of bread and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with chocolate sauce and an iced mocha. I'll enjoy it out on the terrace tonight.

Zzyyggy! I’m late, or really early. I was here earlier and almost finished posting and then lost the entire thing. So frustrating. After having nice warm weather we’re back to chilly temperatures. My neighbor’s daffodils are blooming. 😎

I made a yummy salad with lots of vegetables, chicken, and my homemade Dijon vinaigrette for dinner. Sweetie and I enjoyed dessert at the cybercafe, though. We shared a big piece of key lime pie and Sweetie added vanilla ice cream to his. Viktor is bringing me another cup of tea and a biscotti and then I’m off to bed.

Ah, Viktor, another cup of chamomile tea and dry toast, please. The sun feels so nice out here on the patio by the pool. I’m spending the day at the cybercafe because it’s raining and cold at home. The day started out at 40 degrees and now, at 1:15 in the afternoon it’s 36 degrees. I’m also feeling wretched and chilled. I’m going to lie here as quietly a possible until I feel better. Sweetie says I should go to bed, but I’m not sure that will help. Viktor has been taking good care of me, even bringing me my fuzzy bunny slippers.

Hi Linda, Viktor bring some chicken soup for her. I'm pooped tonight myself. I did swimming this morning, and then walked home from the pool which is a half hour's walk. Then cleaned my living room. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the bucket of KFC the original recipe with mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuits. Lots of gravy of course and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some ice cream sandwhiches and an iced mocha.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Good for you for getting you walking in. Snow! We have rain.The temperature has been mostly in the mid 30’s for the last two days, but before that we had much warmer weather. Our neighbor’s daffodils are blooming and all the maples in the yard are in bud. Early Spring is here.

Francois let me make stuffed crust veggie pizza. He was very sweet and patient with me being in his kitchen and the pizza was divine. Sweetie got the everything pizza. Sweetie says he’d like a Heath Klondike Bar. I’d rather have a double caramel Magnum Bar. Sweetie wants one of those, too. Later I’ll sit by the fire with my coffee.
