Hi Linda, well we ordered it and it's here. A rip roaring blizzard out there with howling winds, and freezing temps. Thank goodness the fires are lit in the dining room, and we have an unstoppable supply of electricity. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the turkey platter with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls, and an ice cold coca cola. Lots of butter and gravy with all that please. For dessert I'll have some pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream and an iced mocha. Aaah it's so nice in here by the fire. Igor just came in from checking on the animals and they are fine. In the real world today we had 90 degree weather with 80 percent humidity. Got in a swim this morning and a walk home. Now I'm watching a thunder storm coming across the lake.

Hi Linda, she and Useless must be hiding in the man cave. Igor is outside making ice castles, and snowmen. I'll stay inside and watch him and the snow. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the bucket of fried chicken original recipe from you know where with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob and biscuits. A coca cola with all that please. I'll eat it in the dining room. It was another day of hazy, hot and humid weather out there. I got a walk in in the afternoon after visiting with my sister, and nearly melted on my way home.

Zzyyggy! I was here last night, I was. I ordered your same order. Oh, well. I’ve been enjoying the snow here at the cybercafe. I went outside with Igor for a little bit. It was cold out there so that didn’t last too long. Fortunately, Viktor has the perfect antidote to the cold: our favorite chocolate drinks and cookies.

Sweetie made a delicious roast beef dinner tonight, but no dessert. I’m debating what to order for dessert. After Viktor’s treats this afternoon and the biscuits Francois sent out with your dinner I’m just not sure. I could have more biscuits with jam, or more cookies or the German chocolate cake with white icing I saw in the bakery case. Okay, that’s not really a choice because Francois knows that’s my most favorite cake. I like it even more than his seven layer, dark chocolate cake with the alternate filling layers of hazelnut cream and raspberry cream, iced with chocolate ganache, and topped with chocolate curls.

Coffee, I need coffee.

Hi Linda, why not have both. It's still snowing out there. I went for a bit of cross country skiing in the midst of the snow, but that didn't last long either. That wind is fierce. In the real world we had a perfect summer day out there. 78 degrees with no humidity, and a nice breeze blowing. Got in a swim, and a walk this morning. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the spaghetti and meatballs dinner with garlic bread and a salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha here in the dining room by the fire. Later we can roast marshmellows in the fire place and have s'mores while it's still snowing out there.

Zzyyggy, these s’mores were a great idea. I love that Viktor has toasted the graham crackers for our s’mores. Mm, Francois added homemade caramels to the tray of s’mores fixings. Delicious. I’ve been enjoying the snow, too. Igor and I managed to build a snow fort. Well, mostly Igor built the fort and I helped.

Hi Linda, well the snow storm had to come to an end sometime. It's gorgeous out there though. We had another perfect summer day in the real world with 78 degree temps and no humidity. Got in a walk later this afternoon, and got the rest of my goals done. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a bowl of seafood chowder with lots of bread and butter and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some brownies and an iced mocha.

Zzyyggy, we had cooler weather today, too. In fact, the temperature was in the high 70’s for most of the day, especially when it was raining and the humidity was high, mostly over 90%. Seems like our cooler temperatures will be in the 80’s and we’ll be having thunderstorms for the next week or so. At least I can enjoy the nice weather at the cybercafe.

Francois made ice cream sandwiches using his new recipe for the cookie part. They’re a delicious dark chocolate. He stocked the ice cream freezer with a bunch of them filled with different ice cream flavors. The Heath Bar crunch ice cream sandwich is really good. Mm, just taking the last bite. So good.

Hi Linda, we had another perfect day here in the real world again. The lake is just full of sail boats out there. Got in a walk and a swim today and am tired tonight, and starving. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the grilled porterhouse steak with baked potato and salad and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some of those ice cream bars and an iced mocha. I'll enjoy it out on the terrace as the temps warmed up to the 70s here and all the snow is melting. Igor's snowmen are looking a little ragged.

It’s a really nice day to grill out on the terrace here at the cybercafe. The guys did a fantastic job grilling and those sides! Francois outdid himself. I’m going to save dessert until later and then indulge in an ice cream sandwich filled with homemade chocolate fudge swirl chocolate ice cream.

At home our temperatures have cooled down into the mid 80’s, but it’s really humid. I’ll miss the snow at the cybercafe, but I see the snow fort is still standing, sort of.

Hi Linda, Another gorgeous day here in the real world. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the meatloaf platter with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy. Dinner rolls, and a coca cola with that please. Hi, Zzyyggy. It seems that I’ve become accustomed to the humidity in the Charlotte area. As long as the temperature is under 90 degrees, the dew point under 73 degrees, and the humidity under 70%, it feels pretty good—or it felt good today. Well, I’m not sure how I feel about that!

Viktor, Zzyyggy mentioned meatloaf. Francois makes the best meatloaf. I’d like a meatloaf sandwich on sourdough bread, please. And a Dr. Pepper to drink. I’ll check the ice cream freezer out in the gazebo on the terrace to see if there are any ice cream sandwiches with chocolate chip mint ice cream. 😋

Hi Linda. another perfect day out there in the real world. I could really get use to this. Temp was 78 degrees with no humidity and a nice breeze off the lake. It's suppose to get hotter by the end of the week though with high humidity again. Oh look Francois and company have set up the outside grills now that we're back to normal weather at the cafe. I'll have the barbecued chicken with potato salad, coleslaw, and corn on the cob with a coca cola, and dinner rolls with lots of butter of course. For dessert I'll have some peanut butter chocolate chip cookies with an iced mocha.

Hi Linda we had off and on rain here today. We need it though. Got in a swim this morning and walk after that. Also got my grocery shopping done. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the roast beef grinder with the works, a bag of chips, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have one of those giant m&m cookies with chocolate chips and an iced mocha. It's been really over casted today as well. I'll eat out on the terrace and enjoy the view of the ocean. Oh look theres the sea monster chasing a whale.

Zzyyggy! I love these giant cookies. It’s the M&M’s and chocolate chips and the crunchiness. 😊. We had a really pretty day with lots of sunshine, although it was humid and 91 degrees. Then big, dark clouds moved in mid afternoon and it rained for ten minutes. We had 3/4 of an inch of rain in ten minutes, then it cooled down a bit and the sun came out again. I was getting my hair cut and Miss Nora had the air conditioning set on arctic freeze so it was really nice to walk out into the steamy, warm afternoon. She takes forever to cut and color my hair and then cut Sweetie’s hair. I really need to find someone else who can cut hair as well as she can, but takes a whole lot less time.

Zzyyggy, you really need to lay your recliner back so you can see the northern lights. We’ve got such a spectacular view on the oceanside terrace here at the cybercafe. If you hear me snoring, don’t be alarmed, I’m tired tonight.

Hi Linda, the supermarket I go to is like that. It's freezing cold in there while you shop and then you thaw out when you get outside. Those northern lights were gorgeous last night. We had heat and humidity again today but a nice enough breeze was blowing out there. Temp was 87 degrees. Didn't do much of anything all day. For dinner tonight oh look Francois has set up the Chineese buffet. I'll start with the chicken fingers, general tsau's chicken, pork fried rice. I'll have a coca cola with that please. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies, and an iced mocha. Although I may go back to the buffet several times.

Zzyyggy, I’m fairly certain I had at least a couple bites of everything on the buffet. I even managed to snag a fortune cookie. I think I’ll have Igor and Jorge wheel my recliner (with me in it) up to my room here at The Inn At The Cybercafe. Viktor promises there will be a pot of tea waiting for me. I know my favorite blue fleece blanket and my blue bunny slippers will be waiting for me, too. Hopefully, by tomorrow morning I’ll be able to move again.

Hi Linda, we had another perfect day here in the real world. The humidity and high temps are at bay for a bit. Got in a swim this morning and a walk. I've been walking home from the pool. It's about a half hour walk, but it's all down hill, and I take plenty of breaks. For dinner tonight I'm going to have chicken nuggets and tater tots with cole slaw, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some klondike bars and an iced mocha.

Nice walk Zzyyggy! It wasn’t too hot outside today, but it sure was humid. I had to go out this afternoon for a doctor’s visit and that’s when the sun came out and made the day feel even steamier. At least I got to come home to a nice cool house and a bowl of macaroni and cheese. Now I need some chocolate. Let’s make that lots of chocolate.

Francois made a chocolate mousse pie—he started with a brownie crust, then added chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate whipped cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. Sweetie says I can add some mini M&M’s on the side. Let’s sit out on the terrace and enjoy our desserts on this lovely Thursday evening.

Hi Linda, another perfect day here in the real world. A little hotter then the ones before, but still no humidity. The heat and humidity are coming back next week though. Got in a walk and a swim again today. Had the program pool to myself for a bit this afternoon. Got all my goals done. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the fried scallops with french fries and coleslaw, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some of that chocolate mousse pie with an iced mocha.

Hi, Zzyyggy! I’m glad you’re having nice weather. Hopefully, the better weather helped Vermont and New Hampshire to dry out and recover from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl. We’re having cooler temperatures, but we’ve been having scattered showers everyday. This morning we got 1.5 inches of rain. The sun was out a little this afternoon, but the humidity is really high. I know why we’re getting all this rain. It’s Sweetie’s fault. When he decided to stain the deck he set the can of stain on the deck and that’s when the rain started. It isn’t supposed to rain over the weekend. We’ll see.

Hi Linda, we're having nice weather again, but getting a lot of smoke from the wild fires. Haven't done anything all day. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the double quarter pounder with cheese, those yummie french fries, and a root beer. For dessert I'll have a chocolate/vanilla creamy and an iced mocha. Zzyyggy, please pass the ketchup. Mm, fast food for dinner. I haven’t had that in ages. I’d really love to have an actual iced mocha. I’ve never had one of the iced coffee drinks with whipped cream on top. They look good, however, my dairy allergies make me hesitant. Fortunately for me, everything the cybercafe serves tastes delicious and I never have an allergic reaction here. Viktor has promised to bring me an iced mocha while we enjoy the sunset. We can watch the sun setting over the ocean. It’s truly amazing how we can watch both sunrise and sunset over the ocean from the terrace at the cybercafe.

Oh! It didn’t rain today 😊. It still feels pretty humid, although it’s less humid than yesterday, and the temperature stayed in the mid 80’s.

Hi, Zzyyggy. Our Sunday roast beef dinner was delicious. I’m ready for dessert now. Apple pie and ice cream will be perfect. I asked Francois to add caramel sauce to mine.

We didn’t have smoky skies today and it didn’t rain. Tomorrow the rain is back and by Tuesday the temperatures will be back up in the 90’s. 😩

Hi, Zzyyggy. I’m heading out to the terrace to enjoy the evening here at the cybercafe. At home it’s been a cooler, rainy day, but out here on the terrace the sun is still shining. Sweetie made Zucchini Parmesan for dinner tonight and Francois made garlic bread and salad to go with it. I ordered espresso with a twist of lemon and balsamic macerated plums and berries topped with creme fraiche served with almond chocolate chip biscotti for dessert. My friend, Priscilla, used to serve this for dessert. It was delicious. Priscilla was a fabulous cook and it was always a delight to spend an evening with her. She passed away last year, but I still have wonderful memories of our time spent together.

Hi Linda, It's storming around here right now, but it's been hazy, hot and humid all day long. Got in a swim this morning and a walk. Went to the Shelburne Museum for bit. I'm starving right now. Zzyyggy, dinner was delicious—I ordered the roast beef, too. Here’s Viktor with our cookies and iced mochas now. I saw where Lyndon, Vermont had flash flooding on Monday night. It looked really bad, especially knowing they had flooding from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl, too. That’s way too much rain.

I’m not sure whether I’ll make it in tomorrow. I’m having surgery and I don’t know if they’ll let me come home afterwards or if I’ll have to stay overnight.
