Barbie — Tonight/morning I called the paramedics because my DH was having a low blood sugar episode. He is a diabetic and has MS. They saved his life by giving him glucose. This is the second visit in a week. God bless them. We still have an appointment with DH’s doctor in the near future. Getting older is not for the faint of heart. ❤️🙏🏻3

Did Biggest Loser Calorie Killer DVD. No plans for formal exercise tomorrow since Safelite HOPEFULLY will be here with the right windshield for me. I’ll probably just take a walk around the parking lot for my exercise
Plan to go wash the comforters, go to Aldi to return some frozen veges (I can get by with what we have until Wednesday), and buy gas.
Tried making spaghetti in the IP yesterday, wasn’t impressed, but I had meatballs that I wanted to use up. The rest of the spaghetti sauce, spaghetti, and cheese I can take home. Made banana chocolate chip muffins yesterday and started cleaning the condo after taking down two of the valences to wash today. Put the comforters in the car, now just have to get the valence and pillow covers from the room Steve is using.
Cheryl – love your dog’s name
Lisa – that levi is so adorable! How I wish Denise would bring PJ down to see us just once. A video chat would be nice, too. I wouldn’t mind my house wrecked.
KJ – Joaquin is already 5!!! Where did the time go? Still as adorable as ever
barbie – good thoughts being sent for Jake
katla – (((HUGS))) You have so much on your plate

Doctor for DH blood pressure, laundry, and Walgreens to pick up meds. That’s the plan for today. But plans can change….

Barbie and Katla many hugs for you and your sick husbands!
I was woken up at five am by a badly set alarm clock in the guest room, which totally beats a medical emergency. So I ate breakfast early, and then slept late. I am 200 over my usual calories, skipped my yoga etc so far, and I'm still sleepy. Time to get on the ball!
Meanwhile I've been thinking about Savannah Georgia as a place to retire. It may or may not happen, but it's fun to imagine. Has anybody been there? It seems to have lots of arts, theater and music, as well as nice weather and reasonable costs. That's my idea of a break, some art museum or festival, and then some lazy beach days.

Still tired after last night’s rescue of DH by the firemed rescuers. I am counting my blessings for them & their help. I will get a cup of coffee. It is next on my list.4

Eddie Van Howlen is adorbs, Cheryl!
Glad your daughter could make you feel better Katla. So sorry you had yet another scare. Good luck at your appointment. One day at a time. Sending love!
Tracey!!! Another cardmaker! YAY. I'm in a 4-week challenge right now and I'm so excited. It's really got my juices flowing again, finally.
A boy and his sticks. Nothing better, Lisa!
Love the hair, KJ!
Oh Barbie, how scary... sending love and hugs to you and Jake.
Annie, Savannah is gorgeous. That would be a wonderful place to retire.
Love, love, love your idea of the perfect vacation, Machka! And I would definitely accept $1M for 2 months of peace and quiet! Cabin, woods, not too far from "civilization" for groceries (hubby LOVES to cook) and yes, good restaurant/pub or two (w/alcohol for us) and a couple touristy things too... COMFY beds are a must, fireplace, porch (OMG, yes) with COMFY chairs and I'd have to have a lake or stream very nearby... I have to HEAR water, my books and cameras (guess without internet, I can't have the kindle and phone, huh... those are my books and camera nowadays, dangit! lol) But I would absolutely take it in a hot minute!!!

Barbie--Hope all went well with your lunch out with friends. How scary, hope Jake is getting some answers from the doctors today.
Allie--Glad DD has the job problem worked out.
Cheryl-- welcome back. What a cutie and the name seems to fit.
Annie--Sending prayers and hugs.
Debbie--Hope you are feeling better?
Pip--Please be careful and call the doctor if the pain doesn't let up.
Lisa--Sounds like your visit with DD and family is going well. Happy to hear she is finding peace.
Rita--Glad you got to talk to someone at the prison and pray your video chat goes well tomorrow.
Carla--Our local HyVee has a Caribou and DH goes every morning for his coffee fix.
Machka--Sounds like a nice weekend. So exciting about a new grandchild. When are they due? Is this your first?
Katla--How scary for you also and second visit in a week. I pray you get some anwers soon and DH can get to feeling better.
I had a nice weekend off. Seems it flew by. DH is not doing well today. He can have several good days and then he over does it and is down for several days. I agree this getting older is not for the faint of heart.
Blessings, Vicki GRAND ISLAND, NE3 -
Sending good healing wishes to all the poorly hubs.
We walked a slightly longer way along the seafront to get to Fatto a Mano. I had already rowed for 15 minutes after lunch. Had a lovely time. Bea was wearing the 'skort' I bought her. I was wearing the new sweater I had bought for the cruise. Unfortunately the camisole I bought to go with it doesn't match. I wore a black one instead. Plus my new hoop earrings.
I managed to leave half the base and ate the whole topping. My son had keto cold meats, mozzarella and salad. Lots of olives. Edie had a gluten free one.
So, here we all are. Bea is now 6. Wow!
We walked home along the main road. So I have burnt 1,000 calories today and came in on plan. Hooray!

My crow pose is getting real! I get close, then I can balance up for a second or three, then I have to put a toe down again. It's exciting because I have never done this yoga pose before. Yay!

Of course we were knobbled for various babysitting duties! One for DDIL'S birthday later this month and one for April very early in the morning. It's the day of the Brighton Marathon and DS and DDIL are going to take part in a special cycling tour of the course before it starts. We have to be up at 6 to greet the kids. DH has cricket that day, but doesn't leave until 9. I will cook gluten free pancakes!
Today DDIL had been on a 80 km cycle ride. She felt entitled to a pizza.

I am tired today. The good news is that DH is doing ok for now. He is resting and needs the rest. Unfortunately he is having a challenge getting through to his doctor’s office. The doctor works some days in Portland and other days here. 😕 I have information that Doctor is available here Tuesday through Friday. We will call Tuesday morning and see whether telephone conference call or an in person visit is the best choice.

Annie DE – good for you and that crow. I was never able to get that
katla – I’m glad to hear your hubby is feeling a bit better but hope he get thru quickly
Steve left, took the two comforters to the laundromat. I was going to do the valences and pillow covers, but someone was using all four of the large machines so I just used the triple loaders for the comforters. I can wash the valences and pillow covers here tomorrow. Then went and bought gas.

Afternoon ladies
Well Tom got Homer to the vet and rhey gave him soggie antibiotics, and pain meds... but with blood in the urine they cant rule out cancer.. so after I drop off Carmine I will pick Homer up and drop him off at the Vets and they will do an ultrasound and either Tom or I will pick him up... now thats going to cost a pretty penny.. but Tom will do it..
Poor Miles is fussy and we think he might be teething already.. i came home and I was supposed to pick up Carmine but got a bad headache and slept and felt much better.. think it was a migraine2 -

Barbie- Wow! What a day for Jake (and you!). I am glad they got him sorted out and you know what the next step is.
Heather- AH, yes. Bea is a year older than Joaquin! It just goes so fast. I remember when Karen VA and I were both waiting for our first grands to be born.
Karen VA- Are they still living in Europe/France?
Sue in WA- Joaquin is in preschool. He is signed up for kindergarten in the fall. He has reached the age where he "knows everything". lol1 -
Barbie NW WA-What a worrisome experience. The plan changes would have driven me crazy. Hoping for good news from cardio. And I think most of us have very limited control and unmanageable lives (if we are honest!)
Katia-my husband had fairly bad diabetes that he did not monitor well-some very scary episodes.
A bit draggy with the time change, however it was beautiful when I got out of work. Went for a nice work. Had dinner-now time to clean up. Boring life right here-and I don't mind it today!
Take care all,

We have had a quiet day today after the fire department paramedics were able to help DH last night. He is doing better today but is still tired. We haven’t been able to reach the doctor via telephone and will try again tomorrow. DH wants a telephone conference call or an in person meeting at the local clinic. Makes sense to me.3

Katla ~ It seems like you and your husband needs a doctor who is more accessible. With all of his health issues it is insane that his doctor would not respond immediately.
