Lisa a stabby pen? Doesn't sound fun, but glad you finally got your medicine. Hope it works wonders!

Allie good luck with the whole situation. Glad Carmine and Kyle are having some togetherness.

Rori you deserve every happy moment! We all deserve to be happy, but you were such an angel of a caretaker. I hope I can be so gracious when the time comes.

Katla thinking about you and hoping your appointment goes well.

I got my blood work done for thyroid. I've been feeling so tired lately, even with a morning nap and an afternoon nap, and sleeping ten hours a night. If it's not thyroid, it might be the sleep apnea again. That is not supposed to come and go, but I've had two positive sleep tests and two negative. It might be back because my weight is up. It seems like the difference between 168 and 173 pounds is little lumps of fat everywhere, especially my neck and face. The struggle is real!

    Morning all! Happy Friday!
Debbie and others dealing with post mortem aftermath- Big hugs to all of you! Having to keep watch over end of life affairs/wills/ poa...it is stressful. As well as being written out of wills. Because my parents passed before my paternal grandmother; my father's siblings were able to coax my grandmother into changing her will to state "only living children" will inherit (thus disinheriting my siblings and I). That stung. But, most of us have been able to let it go (it has been 25 years since grandmother passed). My older sis is still angry and bitter. Feels better to just let it go.
Allie- You have to do what your heart/body tells you to do. I have a son in law that has a hard time "managing" the kids; and therefore, takes them to daycare on most of his days off/ or requires time alone on weekends. I have learned to hold my tongue. lol HE is my daughter's problem. If she has no problem with it; who am I to give any input? Neurologically speaking, men are not as well equipped as women when it comes to caring for children. NOT that they can't learn; but they have less oxytocin in their brain, than women, so it makes forming that "attachment" harder. Ironically, spending time with children when they are content, creates more oxytocin in both the parent's brain and the child's brain. It is a crazy "full circle" problem. I hope Kyle and Carmine have a great day bonding at 6 flags, and I hope you are able to have a good day with Myles.
Pip- Glad you are recovering so well!
Katla- Scary stuff! Keep us posted on your DH!
Machka- I listen to music to relax. I guess that is my main "art form".

kids here. i am out. kj

DH plans to go to the local clinic to get his catheter removed. I hope all goes well with no problems. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. This has not been easy or pleasant.

When it comes to inheritances, I figure that my parents' money etc. is theirs. It's up to them what they do with it. I am expecting nothing because their money is not my money. I also don't think they've got a lot and I'd rather they do whatever they need to do to be comfortable as they age.

I'm also hoping they live for quite a bit longer. :)

When my grandmother passed relatively recently, I'm presuming that what little she had passed to her two kids (my mother and uncle). But I don't know because that's their business, not mine. Not knowing works well for me.

My family is very much about minding our own business and not getting overly involved in each other's lives.

Good late morning... I have a sleeping baby on my lap lol
Yup.. the bottle should have been given a long time ago with breast milk..
Kyle - bless his heart really tried to help this morning his dr doesnt want him holding Miles for another week because he is getting over covid he is wearing a mask in the house. But he mysic on for him and read him a couple of books while I held him..
But the poor munchkin is teething also, drooling like a Saint Bernard...
Took him down to mom to feed, she comes out to the car and feeds him in the back seat...and then I took him for a ride.... went past Toms house ,he was out weed wacking so he stopped and met Miles..
Then I brought him to my house and he fell asleep on my bed i put lullaby fish videos on for him, changed his diaper ..came home and tried the bottle again and he fought me tooth and nailand passed out.. so here I sit until Tracy gets home.
Yes its a nice thing Kyle and Carmine do the 6 flags season pass yearly and they go all the time so its well worth the price for them, and its something they can do together. Though the mom in me told Kyle not to over due because he still has a cough and headache.
Dont worry i have been wearing my mask here too.

Thanks for your kind words. DH has health problems but we have good help from our own family members and visiting nurses. A physical therapist has also been here. We’re taking things one day at a time.

I’m feeling a bit more anxious than before. DH has visiting RN’s and their help is priceless. DH has several health challenges including diabetes and MS. I do the best I can, but sometimes I worry.

I'm sorry, Katla. I'm glad he has help. What kinds of issues is he having that needs RN visits? I know diabetes and MS, but what are the results of those issues which need care?

I can hear in your voice how stressful this has been.
