My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, high blood pressure and cholesterol, some osteoporosis and coronary heart disease with a stent in my heart. I am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.

My husband made a healthy soup tonight- we are going to try to eat soup (hearty soup) for dinner this winter. It's so soothing and feels cozy. It's cold here in the Midwest- perfect for soup and chilis.4

My highest medically recorded weight was 317 pounds. I used to quite literally just buy the biggest size Walmart carried and hoped for the best. Yesterday I bought 2 pairs of size 8 jeans to put in my closet to shrink into because I’m out smaller clothes. They fit already! 😮 Now some of that is vanity sizing I’m sure, but I felt amazing. I went home to try them on to see how much work I had to go and was pretty surprised to button them right up.
Just keep going! 💪 We can absolutely do this.6 -

10/24-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I can’t believe I completely forgot to weigh this morning due to a small change in routine. Wow! Anyway, yesterday was so-so. My choices weren’t the greatest, but no big binge and no large meals. Not enough water or sleep so I’ll work on that today and tonight. It has not been a good week for my diet and I am up from last week, I just don’t have the current weight. It is, however, somewhere in the 2 pound range.

I've decided not to buy candy this year. Every year we have fewer trick or treaters so we will just go hand out candy at our daughter's house and see the grandchildren. If I were at home I would buy 6 bags and give out maybe 10 candy bars and eat all the rest.4
