It’s a new year and MyFitnessPal has another fun challenge for you!
In 2022, we helped more than 250K members reach their goals with the Simple Start Challenge. Now, we’re empowering you to Jumpstart Your Health by committing to 14 days of healthier ways!
This year’s free, in-app challenge features tips from experts, like cookbook author and TV host Ayesha Curry, plus useful advice from our most successful MyFitnessPal members. Topics include logging tips, nutrition, cooking, motivation, and exercise. Each day is designed to help you build healthy habits that last all year long—and beyond.

I'm in I want 2023 to be the year I get healthier. I need to lose weight and get my blood sugar and blood pressure under control.5

I’m not one to make resolutions on the start of the new year but, I like the idea of making small changes that will ultimately help me become healthier,loose weight and get stronger. The small changes I’ve vowed to keep are to eliminate sugar and to work out at least 3 days per week. Two small challenges that I’ll need to focus on to make it work!9

Im excited to get going again after the holidays. Gave myself permission to take a break! Now I have a new exercise in my home and I ready to go for it… weight loss and more exercise5

Had some stomach problems last year - GURD. Managing, but I want to focus on my goal of losing weight. Looking forward to a new start in 2023.3

Ok! 2023 is the year to take off the 60! pounds I've gained since 2003! A mini goal for the week: Break the 240 barrier - 2.1 pounds for this week. BIG goals - 40 pounds and comfortably walk 5 miles per day by September 4th: 3 week trip to Florence, Italy!10

I am in! I crave accountability and inspiration! I want to stop getting mad at myself and make progress so that I can feel proud of myself! It's so easy to fall asleep at the wheel and eat for comfort. I read this morning a great post that Change Isn't Easy, but it's Attainable!10

Ready to go! Trying to rescript the story my body has been telling. I haven't done the best job taking care it as I had focused on kids, career and caretaking. YES! Happy New Year everyone! I would like to join as well! My goal is to average at least 10,000 steps per day for at least four days per week, to incorporate strength and flexibility exercises, to start dancing and hooping again, and to list at least 12 lbs. by this spring!5
