WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JANUARY 2023

Katla: So happy DH is on his way home.
Karen: A warm welcome to your little Rori from a big Rori, also a fellow Capricorn.
Lisa: ♥ Levi!
Lanette: I love your list of guidelines. I also have them saved and printed for ready reference.
Pip: Sorry you had all that family drama, but you sure do have my admiration for how you handle it.
Allie: Antarctica is on my bucket list. Since I've been fortunate enough to visit all 50 states, I now want to visit all continents. Lots of catching up to do there! My first trip to Europe will be this May.
Happy 2023! Happy Everyday!!! No way I could recap highlights of last year as it really was an entire year of friends, family, music, fun and joy. Lost 4 pounds. Stumbled into a great job. Took multiple trips. Maintained good health, even going through Covid with nary a symptom.
Then the New Year arrived. The friend I rescued after she was stranded at the airport in a storm without a coat, her bag or a phone charger spent 5 nights at my place. I wasn't prepared for that, and found her presence (and stinky vape pen) an energy drain. By the time she left I had a bad head cold. And the furnace went out. I went to bed on the 31st and have been on low idle since. Gah! How humbling. Slowly starting to get back to healthy eating and exercise again. And thanks to whoever dropped the reminder about doing 15 minutes of decluttering per day. I'm applying that principle to putting my holiday items back into their respective bins, and back onto the shelves of my garage. Oh, and the furnace has 20 years on it, so although it's working again after a tech checked it, I'll be shopping for a new one soon. Double gah!!
Good news is that I am working all the Nugget basketball games on the schedule this month. Seems they like having me as part of the backstage crew, and I never tire of the energy and buzz that surrounds the team and supporting staff. And, they are playing great, so every game is sold out, loud and fun!
So much to be grateful for. And more to look forward to. Life is a joy! I haven't picked a WFTY yet, but toying with either FOCUS or SPIRIT.
Stay well friends. We can do this.

Good Evening Lovely Ladies!
Heather and Lisa I like your art work. It looks relaxing to me.
Margaret I like your boundaries. They make sense to me.
Kelly and Allie and Lisa and Heather and anyone else I missed. Enjoy those littles while you can. I miss my littles! Teenagers can be fun, but not the same.
Vicki Years ago I quit being that sounding board for my youngest Daughter and husband. I told them they were adults and could figure it out, the only thing I truly cared about was the little granddaughter in the other room. I told them to figure it out with her in mind and to quit making my life miserable. They have now been married 21 years. So hopefully , your family will figure out what is best for them soon.
Tina in CA Welcome back! Stay safe! I saw a bunch of the CA floods on TV this morning. So scary to go from drought to flood so quickly!
Welcome Ang and Julie! Grace and Presence are great words. It is hard to pick our selves up after a fall, that is where this group of ladies comes in handy! Someone will have the right words to help you along the way.
Kylia in OH moving on to next page.3 -
Thanks for all your thoughts and comments0

Lisa Hope that fixes your oven! Your grandchildren are beautiful!
Karen Congratulations! She is beautiful too!
Annie Great job!
Rori You are an inspiration to me! Your joy with life overflows. I am sorry you aren't feeling well and hope you feel better soon.
My day was a good one. I got my work and home to do lists done and even started or finished a couple of items that needed done at work ahead of the deadline. Dinner with friends out was nice. I had chicken instead of a burger since I seem to not do well with those these days. Even have leftover chicken and salad for lunch tomorrow.
3. Get rid of 5 things in your house- I added 4 coats to the donate pile that I realized I haven't worn in years when I was hanging back up the coats I have been wearing. Then threw away a file tote (like a purse but carried file folders). It has been hanging in my closet so long that the outside is sticky and the handles deteriorating! It still has its tag on it. I think my mother gave it to me years ago. I tried using one like it, but I work better with a backpack and not so micro organized. So whew....five things gone.
My timer has gone off so I will leave you for tonight. Coffee to be set up for morning. Lunches are ready. Kitchen is clean.
This is a Journey with ups, downs, twists, turns, darkness, and light. With the help of ladies like all of you it is navigated a lot smoother!

Did a body pump DVD today. Nothing scheduled for tomorrow. Will try to take a walk either around the block today or to the vet’s. Tomorrow I’ll go to the vet’s if I can’t go today or else walk around the block
Tracey – never thought of looking on Etsy for the sign. Thanks for the suggestion
Kylia – “chatty day”...why should yesterday be any different from any other day????? On the days when I’m having trouble reaching my water drinking goal, I usually have something that makes me drink like popcorn, maybe a bran muffin, pretzels, salsa.
Shelley – welcome
Vince has a cardiologist appt later today and then we need to pick up a prescription for Loki. I’m hoping to go with him to the appt., to the pharmacy, and then make a small donation to the Salvation Army. I’d just like to get the big things out of my closet like the waffle maker, food processor, and a few other things. I just got new, bigger things
I’m definitively a sunlight person. How I hate it when it gets darker earlier! It’s starting to get lighter earlier, and I’m in heaven. Can’t wait for it to get lighter at night so I can go for my walk after dinner (I think it helps to digest the food)
Karen VA – sending good thoughts for a great delivery
Carol – so sorry for your brother
Lisa – I, too, skip those lists. Like barbie, I prefer to be in the moment since the past can’t be changed. Glad to know that I’m not the only one who doesn’t do the lists
Heather – your drawings are amazing
Ang in Utah – welcome
when exercising this morning, I purposely wore a tight fitting exercise top. You could see the rolls of flab around my middle. I really don’t like them but I’m thinking that there’s not much I can do. I am the way I am. I am grateful that I’m fairly healthy, about the same weight for many years (fluctuation of maybe 5lbs up). I have gained a few pounds since starting working, but not so many that I need to get a new wardrobe (thank goodness)
Went with Vince to his cardiologist appt, then to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for Loki, then the Salvation Army to make a donation (and go in the store). I did get this blouse, not sure that I really like it, but it was only $1.50 so I figure if I find that I’m really not liking it, I’ll just redonate it
Margaret – beautiful cone lights
Julie – welcome
looks like it’s getting too dark to go for a walk – boo. Coming here sure is a rabbit hole. I should have waited to come on here until after dinner when it is too dark to walk. Update: I did take a walk, only I cut it short
Lisa – beautiful pics, especially the one of Levi looking up
katla – so happy for you
Off to bed.
Michele NC
It doesn't look like I'll be able to walk to the vet tomorrow. They're calling for rain. Well...we shall see1 -

Karen - I’m sure before I’m caught up I will read you have another granddaughter. I agree there are no words on being a grandparent.
Very interesting the difference in tears.
I was right, she is beautiful. Congratulations
Kylia - I am trying very hard to have a more positive attitude at work. I struggled with it all day. People expect you to drop everything for them.
I get to sleep but wake up around 4 and 6 every single night and struggle to get back to sleep. I don’t know why.
Machka - you need to spend your winters in Canada and your summers in Australia.
Betsy - good for you for speaking up. It must be a huge relief.
Allie - I feel sorry for Tracy because it seems she has to do a lot of coddling and tiptoeing to keep Kyle’s temper in check. I was there for a lot of years and hate seeing anyone go through it. I don’t do it anymore. If he wasn’t to be in a bad mood I let him.
Heather - I love your paintings
Annie - is there any agency that will come in to help your parents understand what they are dealing with. My brother just didn’t take Mom to renew her licence. When she wanted to drive later he said you don’t have a licence anymore and she was fine with the answer.
Carla - I heard once “Little flakes, big snow. Big flakes, little snow.” I have paid a lot of attention to that for years now and I think it’s fairly accurate. Here at least.
Vicki - I had to smile at your struggle with your son and DIL. When we were married my FIL wasn’t at the wedding. When I met him a couple of months later he told me if DH ever gave me a hard time to call him. I sure took that to heart. When DH drove truck he was very jealous and his mood was always bad when he got home because he ran too hard and too long and took substances to do that. One time he came home and was being a complete jerk (there are more accurate words for this but jerk will work). I told him I was leaving and not putting up with him anymore. He told me I wasn’t going anywhere. I called his parents. It was 2am. His mother came to the house. She walked in, sat her purse down and told me to make her a coffee. I said, I wasn’t staying long enough for her to have a coffee. She told me I was and when DH tried to say something she told him to sit there and be quiet. I made coffee and we all talked for about 2 hours. There was one other time I called her a few years ago and told her I didn’t know what to do, DH was very depressed, I’m sure he was having an online affair of some kind. She told me that she loved me and I deserved happiness and I would always be her daughter. It gave me the strength I needed to keep trying. I’m glad I did now but boy I can’t tell you how I did it. The joke in our family is that if we ever divorced his family gets me.
I hope your son and DIL work it out I’m whichever way is best for them and the Grands.
Margaret- I love your decorations. I have left my outside lights on. I know there are a lot of people that walk through the park at night and I always think of Barbie and her walks and enjoyment of the lights.
Had a fairly decent workday. I sure wish I had more time off though.

LisaInArkansas wrote: »Finally able to string a few thoughts together without being interrupted, whether by my own distractions or others... and even that's not truly true... I've got bread dough proofing in the oven to make sandwich buns for the rest of Corey's workweek. Also got a cat door ordered and ready for pick up at Lowes so he can pick it up on his way home.
Regarding the cat door: The much-lamented Bella (who has never shown up) is an older yellow Lab mix, probably 50 pounds - and she tried to get through the cat door, snapping the rigid flap right in half. Again. We've already replaced it once due to a previous visit, so we're now working on our third cat door in four years. Ah well, water under the bridge now. Still pleased that Corey refrained from comment on it in front of Kelsey.
So... you might (or might not) be wondering why I'm not doing all the many and varied numbered lists, whether looking forward or back, and the answer is, I can feel my stress levels rising when I read them--and writing them makes me break a sweat. I did do the November one, but even so, had to break it into just a few numbers at a time.
Not sure why these ongoing lists overwhelm me so. Sort of anti-OCD? I don't know. I'm sorry I won't be responding to y'all's lists, but I just whiz right past them, no worries. I'm genuinely not asking anyone to stop! We all have our ways of making sure our mental health is in good shape. The lists just aren't an option for me. I don't know why.
Later,
Love y'all,
Lisa in AR
Kinda like how I feel about words for the year.
And it never entered my mind to question why or why not someone chooses to participate in something here. That's their business. I've got too much going on in my life to think about someone else's business.

2 List 5 things using each of your senses – tea by cheery light, comforting crackling, cozy warmth, woodsmoke= how grateful I am for our cast iron stove and Joe keeping us well stocked with wood.
3 Let go of at least 5 items in your house – yeah, no. Good goal for the month tho’
Yesterday about when I was done with my long post, Joe got up and said “It’s cold!” I was just noticing that too. Turns out the furnace was hot but not blowing any warm air.
Joe immediately turned the thermostat way down and built a fire. That wonderful woodstove had our whole house warm in less than an hour. Miraculously for our (“No Hurry in Curry”) county, the recommended heating company had a crew in our neighborhood and they came the SAME DAY. Fixed the furnace for only $135/part & labor (and a generous tip from Joe.) Wish they did fences, tree work, house cleaning, painting, remodeling . . . ;}
Might invite them back to replace my bathroom’s noisy vent fan with one that is properly vented outside instead of into the attic, and that give the option of turning on the light without turning on the fan. Then onto mildew abatement in the shower ceiling… [sigh]
Welcome @AnneFrewin, @jebogan73 Jane from OH, ShelleyMJ46, @jez6915 Julie from MI and @MutterGans!
@angelaengland473 Ang in UT welcome to you too! Debbie and Machka are recent skin cancer surgery survivors. The last of my 4 surgeries was in 2005. How long ago was yours?
Lanette “…where I ‘hear’ her … and that I need to try to please her.” Ditto. Also heard her laughing all the way down from heaven when we were fostering our teenaged nephew. Payback is.
Rebecca ((hugs)) for your sister and most especially for you.
Debbie Prayers for Destiny and her mom. What a blessing the mom has been able to find something positive (removing the tumor) in them taking out Destiny’s femur.
Pip ((hugs))
Ginny that eye pain sounds scary. ((hugs))
Katla Wonderful news. Doing the happy dance. ((hugs)) to both your DH and you.
Barbie, “…getting them (decluttering books) on audio and listen to them while cleaning…” Now that would be an effective strategy!
Machka what you said about when its dark on the way to work and on the way home. For me it’s when its dark on the way to morning line dance class and on the way home from the evening one. Tonight the darkness felt somehow shocking. The saving grace was that for the first time I could see the Christmas lights Joe put up around the garage as I was driving into our lane.
Karen in VA prayers for Aurora Rose’s safe arrival. Edit! Oh! She’s lovely!!! Hope your DIL’s health improves immediately.
Betsy, Brava!
Heather loved the flowers, especially the poppies. That surprisies me as I usually prefer blues to reds.
Carol prayers for your brother. Can he transfer from that “on the way home” hospital to one nearer to his home?
Margaret, love the “surround those memories with the love for that child…” to pip. Love to you too. And yours to Lisa about the poppies.
Tina good to see you posting again!
Rosemarie ((hugs)) and prayers continue.
Tracey yours to Allie about Tracy and Kyle. Likewise I tiptoed around Joe for ten years, then finally got some helpful counseling. While you’re trying to change your attitude about work, can you re-ignite your job search?
Time to snooze.

I'm 57 and finding my self esteem going downhill and also my motivation. I have had several skin cancer surgeries with the most recent on my neck and the scar is very big and ugly at this point. I am on a journey of finding peace from within and living my life being present in all things. Knowing that "All truly is Well" no matter what trial I may have to face. I want to feel good about myself no matter what my physical body may look like but also take care of myself to the best of my ability as well. Finding support and being accountable seem like 2 good steps. It is a "Journey" I know. Hopefully with some new friends along the way.
My word for this year will be "Presence" I hope to find the peace I am looking for

Welcome Ang.
This is a great group of ladies.
I (and another lady here) had melanoma removed three weeks ago. Both of us had it on our noses. The procedures were a little different but we are both healing. Mine, they took the graft from my neck so I too have the big scar on my neck right now. Take it easy and let your body heal.

The other lady would be me. One on my nose and one on my hip. I'm still wearing a bandage on my hip and will until the end of the month.

Machka - I have almost none of that stuff in my house. I'm good at throwing things away and pretty tidy. I do have unworn jewellery and a few too many cake tins etc. We have got rid of thousands of books to the Amnesty shop, but could do with another clear out soon.
Karen - Many, many congratulations on your gorgeous granddaughter. How wonderful!
Tracey - Your post about your marriage brought tears to my eyes. I'm in love with your in-laws! Of course, your husband had to be willing to work at it too.
Lisa - I love all your photos of the family. I really enjoyed seeing you painting with Hayley. Are you going to keep it up?
We have Max here. I decided it would be a good project to make pancakes for lunch. (We were thinking of walking down to the fish restaurant, but the weather is not co-operative.) Pancakes seem like a good option as we can use up the bacon and have other stuff on them. I then remembered that I had used up all the eggs in Monday's frittata! DH and Max went round the corner to buy eggs and milk, and when they came back, I supervised Max making the batter. At least it doesn't have to be gluten free!
Should be a fun lunch as we will have a competition as to who can make the best pancake!
DH and I managed our exercise session this morning by the skin of our teeth as my son brought him round 15 mins early. We have had to forgoe our writing session, but that's fine.
Yesterday, both my son and DDIL came to pick up the kids. They were both absolutely knackered. This moving temporarily to the apartment is proving very hard work. They have to completely empty the ground floor of their house as they are having solid floors laid throughout with underfloor heating. Plus new bathrooms and a whole new extension for the kitchen. Most of the move they are doing themselves, with many trips to the dump, to the apartment, some boxes here, and the final move of the biggest furniture on Thursday. They have a van with three men coming. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end! At least the rental is in a fabulous position, opposite the beach. But much further from the girls' school. They have gone back to school today.
Much love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxxx5 -
Rori - I loved that 'humbling ' comment. That's how I often feel when life trips me up. I can hardly believe that you have never been to Europe before! You are so well travelled. 💕
Yesterday, I had a go at drawing Max. I used to be terrible at Life-Drawing at school and have barely tried since. As both Max and Bea were occupying my technology, I thought I would give it a try.
Max is on my phone , using the Polish app to make a horrible picture of me. Total concentration! I haven't got the arm and hand quite right.
This is what he was polishing!
So a creative time was had by all.
Love Heather UK xxxxxx

I glanced over the title of this group:.women over 50...and keep forgetting that I'm over 50. Haha. Aside from being tired, I never thought about it My 50th birthday was at the beginning of the pandemic and was a non-event, perhaps that helped. This year I really do plan on getting to that elusive *reasonable* goal weight that seems to have escaped for all but one of the past 30 years. Continuing to work, taking a trip to Everest(!). I picked up rowing last year after just trying out a rower in a gym. Now it's my favorite exercise (Concept2 rower). My arms are stronger, my abs look better and I feel better overall. Happy 2023 to everyone!8

1 Sit in silence for three minutes... it's harder than you think. Does silently working in the garden count? Done! I sat silently for 7 minutes and prayed.

Good Morning!
I actually slept 7.5 hours! Of course that means we didn't get up on time- oops! Not late, just later. All is good, DH a little grumpy though. Funny thing is we didn't use to get up until 7 (we have to be at work before 9), then I started getting up at 6:30 for some "me" time. Then he started getting up at 6:30. So I started getting up at 6, then so did he........Wicked circle. He is noisy in the morning. TV goes on immediately. No TV this morning but he just turned on the radio. Oh, well...... I got 7.5 hrs! So excited! Some days it is the little things!
Tracey I love your in law story! My DH is the jealous type. It drives me crazy. Last time the jealous monster appeared I just told him that if I wanted anyone else I wouldn't have waited 15 yrs to marry his pain in the *kitten* self! That seemed to cool his jets a little. I wish I had had in laws like yours. Though I reckon his Mom would have been the same if the situation came up.
Heather UK Nice! It took me years to start coloring again because I still hear my mother's voice telling me how to do it!
Allie Prayers for your daughter and SIL and their family. There is a LOT of stress going on there. Our electric rates have doubled also this year. It hasn't hit us yet as we were under contract. But it will get there. It sucks when it comes with no warning and people haven't budgeted for it especially just before winter.
Machka Yes, that is for a month. Craziness!
I had better get off here and get dressed for work. I think the folks might get offended if I went in my birthday suit
Much love, prayers, and hugs for all!
Remember one step at a time!

Oh,
4. My favorite Christmas gift ever was when I was 12 or 13. We were so house poor that it wasn't funny. Nice house on 10 acres, but little else. The oil embargo was happening, utiilty prices were really high, and Alabama got snow. My parents really couldn't afford Christmas gifts. Our church got gifts for us. Mine was a Raggedy Ann doll that smelled like firewood. She had survived a families house fire, was no longer wanted, and she got much love that year. I really appreciated someone's thoughtfulness to give her up for me.

2 List 5 things using each of your senses. Currently: The sound of crickets from the boys sound machine in their bedroom, the smell of grass and fresh air from the open window, the blue/white glow of my laptop screen in the dark dining area, the taste of coffee, the scritchy feel of a tag on my shirt (that I will be changing out of soon)
3 Let go of at least 5 items in your house. I am not home right now, but my linen closet is going to take a BIG hit when I get home.
4 What was your favorite Christmas gift? (this year or ever). Not counting my youngest son being born on Christmas Eve; I would say a leatherbound copy of The Hobbit from my youngest son. It is not my favorite book, but it was the fact that he gave me a book. This is the first book I have received as a gift, since childhood. It is the thoughtfulness behind it.5 Move for at least 30 minutes today

Kyle wants Carmine out of the house..at least for awhile and Tracy wants family counseling which isn't covered by Kyles insurance
I told her to contact 211 and give them information to see what she can get..I will help with Miles..
I just hope they work this all out.. ugh...with Miles Birthday coming up Saterday...3 -
OH MY Pip... that made me laugh! I'm sure you weren't laughing at the time, but whatever it takes.
Levi certainly is a handsome dude, Lisa! Those eyes will melt ya!
Congrats Karen!
So glad DH is coming home Katla.
IDK about that, Tracey, cuz we had some major big flakes yesterday and we got LOTS of snow. We got about 8" yesterday and we're expecting another 4-6" today.
Kylia, that is THE sweetest story... it reminds me of the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that my Great Aunt made me. I wanted them so much and had never had them, but I was 13! Far too "old" for those dolls, but she made them anyway, bc I was her favorite and I wanted them. Thank you so much for reminding me of that.
Got rid of a BUNCHA old spatulas and tongs and just STUFF that we don't use anymore yesterday... YAY!
4 What was your favorite Christmas gift? (this year or ever)... EVER, my Chrissy doll, the ones years ago that had the red hair that pulled out and went back in. My mom made her loads of extra clothes. OMG, I loved her!
Love and Blessings, Carla, in MNI really, REALLY like this gratitude thing, so I grabbed a boatload of these lists and I tweaked it big time! So I'm going to keep it going... myself. One day you're doing, or NOT doing... like the 1st, the next day you're thinking/reflecting.
1 Sit in silence for three minutes... it's harder than you think
My three minutes turned into five and then almost ten... it was so relaxing. But then Mom was really into transcendental meditation when we were kids and taught us all how to do it. I've missed that. We were all able to slow our heartbeats WAY down. I've used that so many times in the last several years in all sorts of meaningful ways! LOL Think I need to add this to my daily prayers every morning again.
2 List 5 things using each of your senses… hoar frost on my trees, that beeper that we can’t find that keeps going off, morning coffee that tastes sooooo good, tapping the computer keys, congested(lol)
3 Let go of at least 5 items in your house... cleaning out a couple of our kitchen drawers today. Wish me luck! Got rid of a BUNCHA old spatulas and tongs and just STUFF that we don't use anymore... YAY!

5 Move for at least 30 minutes today...
6 Share a goal you achieved last year...
7 Slow down and savor one meal today...
8 Who was your favorite teacher...
9 Create something today...
10 What is your favorite lyric from a song...
11 Send a card/note to someone today...
12 What are you looking forward to in 2023?...
13 Tell a random person they look "good" today...
14 Tell us three amazing things that happened recently (you decide what "recently" means...lol)...
15 Call or text someone you haven't talked to in at least a week...
16 What made you smile today...
17 Take a photo of something you're grateful for...
18 What material comforts are you most thankful for? You can make your list as long as you like...
19 Write a positive review for a company for goods or services you've received recently...
20 Write down five things you like about yourself...
21 Pay it forward in some way...
22 What do you most desire in your life right now?...
23 Go an entire day without complaining...
24 What about you makes you special?...
25 Spend time with a loved one...
26 When was the last time you felt pure joy?...
27 Hold the door for a stranger... or a friend...
28 What fear have you overcome?...
29 Engage in a random act of kindness of your own choice...
30 When was the last time you laughed so hard you almost peed?...
31 Now try to "meditate" (sit in silence) for ten minutes...1 -

Tracey - What a wonderful thing for your in-laws to do for you and your marriage!
Karen - Congratulations! And yes, a big for grands... Fascinates me how much I can love these little people.cityjaneLondon wrote: »Lisa - I love all your photos of the family. I really enjoyed seeing you painting with Hayley. Are you going to keep it up?
Heather UK xxxxxxxx
Heather - thank you, and yes, I need to get back to painting in general and will be trying to find a good watercolor tutorial. Haley's mom sent me this image this morning. She got Haley to watch a Bob Ross tutorial, and then she went to work with her mom for the morning. This is what she created from memory at her mom's office: She's 7 years old! At 7, I could draw the little flat house, stick-figure people, and the V-wings for birds, and that was about it. She is working here with perspective and layering and on top of that, doing it with a different medium than Ross, who was working in oils, AND doing it from memory without a visual in front of her. I am flabbergasted... she's asked her mom for a "board with a finger hole" and more paints and brushes already. I apparently sparked something!
Rori, always good to see you, dear heart. Glad you were able to survive the unexpected house guest, and love your goal to travel to every continent.
So... after nearly two hours of trying everything, Corey found that the entire governing circuit board on the range had gone bad, as well. In the end, it would cost more to replace the electronics than it would to buy a new range... So this morning, I ordered a new range from Lowes. Reasonably priced, they've got a big sale on appliances right now, and every screen as I narrowed down my choice told me it would be delivered tomorrow, January 5. So I pulled the trigger on it, ordered it, and a delivery screen pops up giving me the choices of January 14, 21 or 28. I went ahead and picked the 14th so I could get the order filed and called their customer service people.
I'm politer than I used to be... and I always tell the person that I know this is not their fault, but I can hear the cutting edges of my voice. I just told her that they are lying on their sales site over and over again, and while Home Depot may not be a savings, at least they don't lie. I actually CHOSE Lowes because the screen kept telling me, deliver tomorrow! Home Depot was up front and said January 17.
Ah well - I don't hold on to the bad stuff for too long these days. I know they have supply issues, heck, three summers ago we waited nearly four months to get an upright freezer! I just want them to tell the dang truth.
Onward into my day, my dears, hope yours started better than mine. Corey did make sure the rangetop still works, so in the kitchen I have an Instant Pot, a slow cooker, a rangetop, a toaster-oven style air fryer and a microwave. I think we can limp along until we get an oven back. Also, the gas range that I ordered is also a convection oven and an air fryer, so I might be able to actually get rid of one or two appliances!
Love y'all,
Lisa in AR
