Tired both mentally and physically. Had to take a minute breather outside this afternoon. Same stuffs, just another day. To add the cherry on top, someone left a 1 star review for our business.Just said awful experience, won't be back. Funny thing is the name isn't in our data base, but the first name is. I believe it is a lady who brought her blower in a year ago. It was damaged beyond repair. She said she was coming to pick it up last October. We disposed of it the end of January. She called Saturday, yes this Saturday and wanted to pick it up. A year later!!!!! It was junk. She is mad at us. Anyway....my reply was that we always strive for professionalism and efficiency, but occasionally miss the mark. We hope she finds a dealer that meets her expectations. If I leave reviews, I usually offer specifics...ie, no one acknowledged me, they overcharged me, etc. This person was vague which I have found to be normal if they know they are wrong, but are being pissy. This is why I ignore those types of reviews if I am reading negative ones. I wouldn't expect any business to keep my stuff for a year especially when it was junk.Got long so put in spoiler. I trust ya'll will let me know if I am in the wrong.
Am going to watch some TV with DH and do more paperwork.
Thanks for allowing me to vent.

After work went to the soup kitchen. Came home, got dinner ready, then walked. Made another towel topper
You know, I’m getting a bit frustrated with Vince. Weeks ago I talked to him about selling some of the coins we have. Today I suggested we take them to sell since he can’t work on putting down the topsoil. Now all I get is how he has to research how much they’re worth. Why he didn’t do this sooner is beyond me. A few weeks ago I talked to him about ordering the topsoil. At that time he got upset and told me that repairing the cover for the grill was a top priority. It wasn’t a few years ago when the snow collapsed part of it, why is it suddenly such a high priority? Guess what isn’t getting done?
Heard from Bryan. Seems Geraldine would like pictures of Bryan as a baby to compare him to Leo. She sounds like a lovely girl.
Hope – welcome! Glad to have ya with us. Your goals sound very doable
This weather is absolutely crazy. We haven’t had rain in a long time (as a maater of fact, I’m surprised they’re not talking drout) . It’s in the 80’s today and supposed to be in the upper 70’s or low 80’s everyday until Mon. Then on Tues it drops to 59 and rain. Great for Halloween!
Carol – when they took the patch off Vince’s eye when he had the cataract surgery, the first thing he said was “when can you do the other eye?”
Rita – good luck with your surgery! Insurance is always a pain.
Found out toady that it takes 45 minutes to walk from my house to this one highway by using a side road (that’s one way, not both)
soda: I very seldom drink it. And when I do, it usually isn’t a lot. Now Vince...he drinks only diet so I get the caffeine free soda.
Kylia – I don’t think you were in the wrong. A year!!!! I’ve been waiting over a year for this lady to make this quilt for me.

Michelle ~ Perhaps you could keep the coins to leave to PJ. They might be very valuable by the time he reaches adulthood.
Kylia ~ So sorry you had a disgruntled customer! She/they sound kind of WACKO!

I wouldn't pay much attention to ratings. Sometimes people go through and give bad reviews just because it amuses them to do that. However, if it starts to become a recurring theme, then you might need to do something about it.

Hey ladies!
Soaking up the grandkids.💖
Today granddaughter and I went in the hotel pool, which was warm like bathwater. It felt marvelous! I taught her to put her face in the water, blow bubbles, then finally blink and open her eyes under water.😁. We blinked at each other.💖. She had on her floatie which at one point she wanted them off, but her mom said to keep it on. I told my DIL that I was going to hold her hands or hold her the whole time but still a no. I respected her wishes and clipped it back on. Tomorrow son will be there so hopefully we can try it off. I was teaching her how to make funny hair by flipping her hair forward then looping it (like George Washington hair). Of course she had to hold her breath and get her whole face in the water. Grandma is sneaky! Its 8:42 pm and I'm beat. It was a nice day. Got a lot of holding the new 1 month old grandson. He's as sweet as all getout!

Hope - I really love Coke, I have been trying to limit myself with it but need to buckle down again. I used to only allow myself to have it on Sunday’s as my treat day.
Barbara - it sounds like you have plans and back up plans in place for your procedures. That must be a load off.
Kylia - when I worked at the nursing home, several of the nurses in their private lives said they used expired meds. That it is just something that legally needs to be on them.
Lanette - thank you for asking. My cousin went home Wednesday evening when her son was discharged from the hospital. His goal was to be able to be out by Friday but he proved himself at Physio and was able to go on Wednesday. He is going to heal much better at home with “his girls”. He has a wife, two daughters and even his dog is female. He sent a picture last night of his dog laying on the bed with him. Everyone else is healed except for the other friend with a hip injury, but she is healing well.
My DH has decided to grow a beard for the Winter. I am not happy about it. I think it ages him at least 10 years and I don’t like beards.
Annie - are you parent’s financially able to have home care a couple days a week to give you a break? It sounds like you are going to have to make decisions soon about what you will be able to do.
Lisa - I hope Egg is ok and it was just a glitch in the matrix.
We have snow here since Monday, there is enough that I don’t think it will fully go away until April or so now. 🥴
Joy - I have to go for some bloodwork to prove what immunizations I had as a youngster for when I go to school. You mentioning it reminded me to make the appointment. I also need to book my mammogram. My doctor is retiring in December and wants to make sure that there is a place for the report to go so if I need anything I’ll have it. It seems I’ll be on a long wait list for a doctor. I am very concerned.
Rita - I wonder how they decide all of these days. I am happy you are sharing them.
Vicki - Welcome home.
Michele - I hope your connection to Bryan will continue and wounds can be healed.
I agree with Carol about keeping those coins for PJ or now Leo as well.
Rebecca - how happy are you! What great pictures!
I had to watch a 4 part video series for homework this week. It is about the indigenous people of Canada. It’s called 8th Fire - Part 1-2-3-4. Anyway, do you ever watch something that gives you an emotional reaction that you just want to share with the world? I learned so much in those 3.5 hours and I want to share it with someone. The problem with online learning is that you can’t share an experience like that. It should have been something watched as a group, not just as homework.
I deep cleaned today for the first time in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow our eldest and grands are coming for a craft day and Sunday I have a lot more homework to get caught up on.
It’s good to have my house back in order, the clutter and mess was getting to me. Next weekend DH has agreed to tape and mud the drywall we put up a few weeks ago. Then we’ll have a couple of smaller projects before I paint.

Rebecca - Soooooo happy for you!
My baking tins were picked up, and I got a thank you message. That's nice. It always feels like a bit of a miracle to me when I get these surplus things out into a good home where they are appreciated. Love it.
Tracey - I know exactly what you mean about wanting to share the experience. You could find people online who have similar reactions. Join a pressure group. The wonderful thing about the modern world is that you can always find your 'tribe'. For me, my passions are a whole 'wing' of the mansion inside my head, that I only rarely share with DH. I write about some of them in my books.
Have you journalled about it? Sometimes these experiences can be a turning point in one's life, and lead to a whole new set of interests and exploration. Follow your heart. Inform yourself by more reading. You never know where a spark might lead.
John's sister is texting about a meet up in London for lunch, on a Sunday, early November. I would love to see her, but I do not want to do that. Sunday trains are the pits, and I am still in deep rest mode after the holiday and the UTI. (It's not quite gone. The red wine set it off.) I declined one date, so she suggested another. She is still on holiday in France, so I can't really chat. I am going to have to decline gracefully. I suggested to John that he go on his own, but he didn't want to. I have hardly left the house this week and have no desire to 'gad about'.
The grandgirls are coming this afternoon. I expect we will do something creative.

Tried laundry sheets this month.
Underwhelmed.
They didn't cause my ongoing allergic reaction but I don't think they helped. And my clothes just didn't seem as clean as with my usual laundry liquid for sensitive skin.

Machka - My laundry sheets are for sensitive skin. No perfume either. We both are extremely sensitive and have had no problems. My laundry seems cleaner. I always put the sheets on the bottom, under the clothes.
Tracey - Right now I am listening to Allison Russell talking on 'We Can Do Hard Things' podcast. You might enjoy it. 'How to Break Cycles'. She mentions Canadian indigenous peoples. It would be relevant to your child studies as well.
You are doing such a good thing with your training to work with children. I feel you will be a great gift to them.
I have texted my DSIL to say I am not able to go up to London at the moment. I would truly love to see her, but I am being kind to myself.

It's the weekend!
Joy - what is sour cabbage? I'm guessing it's the large heads used to make sauerkraut? I'm in line for some of your cabbage rolls. Glad your beautiful floors are finished and house put back together. Good timing. How's your new pup doing?
Vickie - welcome home, I was wondering how your trip went. Missed you! Bet you are glad to be back before that cold snap hit.
Michele - I was thrilled to read that Geraldine would like a baby picture of Bryan. So happy to hear communication is starting back up with Bryan and family.
Heather - adorable photo of Bea and Edie. Sorry that UTI is still hanging around, good to hear you won't be traveling to London and can have some time to recover and get your energy back.
Tracey - I just found that "8th Fire - Part 1-2-3-4" on YouTube. Glad your house is getting back to normal and the drywall project can proceed. Have fun crafting. I am hoping you are able to get a new doctor quickly when your old one retires. I love the idea of your cousin's son's dog in bed with him. "Doctor Dog" my DH used to say.
Kylia - I believe for every 100 customers, 99 are happy with the work and rarely give a review (thinking someone else will do it) and the 1 that was having a bad day will leave a bad review. You give that shop 110%, and I think your response summed it up nicely. I wonder if that lady's husband or someone started getting on her about that blower, the lady realized SHE messed up by not following through and of course blamed your shop.
Rebecca - that photo of you and your sweet grandchildren just made my day. Enjoy your time with them!
Ginny - miss you.
I went closet shopping yesterday and found some new sweatpants. I haven't cleaned out DH's side of the closet yet except for his dressy clothes and the XL items like jackets he once wore, because the casual clothes like his sweatshirts and sweatpants fit me (a little large and long but comfortable) and are good for doing outside work or hanging around the house. I also found a knit hat that says "Sons of Arthritis" which fits perfectly, lol.
And I also went freezer shopping. Found a couple boneless pork loin chops (which I'll cube) and bone broth that will go into the crockpot today with some veggies - to make a stew which will be great over basmati or jasmine rice - whichever package I have open right now.
I managed to get in over 14,000 steps in yesterday. This is up from 6,000 average a few weeks ago. Walking 10 minutes three times a day after a meal really adds up. Plus yesterday morning I walked with my neighbor which helped. I'm noticing my legs feel a lot stronger, and I think that's due to me walking at a fast clip. When I walk with neighbor D, I have to slow down a little since she's 5' tall, 2 knee replacements and has emphysema. So my 10 minute walks alone are a lot faster.
It's 26 degrees right now and I'll take a jug of hot water out for the chickens to fill their water bowl when I let them out of the coop. Should warm up to the low 50's this afternoon and I plan to rake up the lion's share of leaves fallen from that big maple. Crossing fingers I can get a mow in on Sunday or Monday afternoon if it's dry enough, big rain and warm weather coming back on Wednesday.
So closing for now. Back later.

Good morning all:
Had a good few days out of town. Saw some people I haven't seen in a bit. Learned some new things. Still trying to catch up on all sorts of things. I have caught up with your goings on-it always makes me feel grounded even if I don't comment.
Annie-just take things a day at a time with your parents. I agree with others, see what help you can get in the house. Even a few hours a week can help your sanity. Some of the insurance plans provide assistance. Perhaps with dad and bills/papers, locate items when he is not in house (like when he is at church). If you don't want to relocate the papers you can always take pictures of the important things for reference so you know what is due when, etc.
Rebecca-enjoy that baby time!
Heather-we do need to balance things and take care of ourselves.
Lanette-I kept a couple of my husband's things to wear until they wore out or got too big. I was one of those who cleaned closets out sooner as opposed to later-it helped me in moving forward. That's one of those things where there is no correct answer-it is what is right for each of us (plus I ruined some of his old clothes in the yard and doing projects for a couple of years-saved my stuff! He would have appreciated the cheapness).
Went to grocery this morning. While looking at labels for a oouple of prepared things I eat regularly I realized the containers have more than one serving so I was under recording calories quite a bit in terms of a cumulative effect. No wonder I am maintaining instead of losing some of the smoking weight! Well, I will be happy if that is my worst mistake.
Medical stuffTalked with PA regarding thyroid meds and cancer levels yesterday. We are in agreement the medication change is a positive for how my body feels. The blood levels are where they want them to be. The actual cancer marker is stable. It looks like it has taken it about 7 years to double. To look at it another way, at diagnosis 27 years ago it was "undetectable." Today it is at 23.5. People walk around with that same marker in the 1,000s-so we aren't overly concerned.
Need to go get walk in and finish a work project this morning (need to get it sent to the state no later than Monday so trying to have it ready today. Part of catching up!).
Take care all,
Ginny in Ohio8 -
The dog trainer came yesterday for her first visit. She spent time talking to us about what goals we had for Annie. Then we spent an hour learning and practicing techniques using the clicker, hand signals, and one word commands. Annie is a fast learner and Jake and I were almost as fast. She gave us clickers to use and e mailed us a training plan so we have it in writing. She'll be back again next week for another hour of training and practice. It's more expensive that the group training that's available at Petco but fits our needs of staying home and getting personalized help.
Miraculously Jake and both dogs slept almost all night so there was no middle of the night walk, just a slightly earlier morning one which got us up an hour before our usual wake up. I don't expect it to be a regular occurrence since Bessie has needed a middle of the night walk for her whole six years with us but it was an interesting change. I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so I was able to read the e book on my phone for awhile.
Tracey, The novel I am reading now is set in Arizona and features a fictionalized account of many things that took place with indigenous people in the US which is similar to things that happened in Canada. Interesting and heart breaking.
Heather, glad you could say no to another invitation. It's time for you to stay home for awhile.
A reminder to those of you who are frugal. Research your local public library for books to check out and audio and e books to borrow via an app like Libby. This is such an easy way to save money over buying books or subscribing to an online e book or audio book service. If you have piles of books that you own and have already read, take a look at paperbackswap.com
Barbie in NW WA3 -
Good morning ladies!
Barbie my dogs always did better with hand signals than voice commands. I never used a clicker, but Teddy knows by my voice if he is being a good boy and might get a treat. He still comes up to me, assumes the treat position (sitting) and gives me sad eyes. He looks from me to the bag of treats and back to me. He is such a sweet dog; he communicates better than my ex husband.
Ginny when my mom gets home, I will have home health care come in every week. I picked the company and made the initial call. I'm hoping I can get coverage for Thursday afternoon when I ride horseback. I haven't decided whether Dad can watch Mom for a bit or not. Maybe I need someone to watch both Mom and Dad. Mom mostly naps on the couch, or reads or watches TV so unless she is hungry, she is easy. It's dad that won't stay within his limits.
The financial paperwork is its own mess. There is no bundle of papers to go to. So much is online. To look up due dates I need company names and logins.
Now my wonderful dog is barking his fool head off at people on his sidewalk. My mom taught him that.
Today's chore is putting air in my dad's tires. Then I get to go out to lunch!
Thank you again my friends for all your support. I would be a raving lunatic without you all.

Rebecca I understand why you pushed for no floaties. I taught swimming lessons in my younger days. We would not allow floaties in lessons because it gives them a false sense of security. I would rather if a parent feels they need something like that is to have them wear a life jacket. A life jacket could save their life. Floaties not as likely.
That said you did the right thing by honoring DDI. Also getting Atheana comfortable by getting her face in the water and blowing bubble is where I would start with a child just learning to swim. The most important thing is both of you enjoying the water together. Sounds like you did.
Barbie Because I got DrewB during the pandemic I took an online training course from Small Dog Academy. It has gotten mixed reviews. What I liked most about it was they only used positive reinforcement. If you know what your goals are there are also many good you tube videos on dog training. I stayed away from the ones that used shock collars, you need to be the alpha in the relationship, or punitive methods. I also joined Pet Summit that has many free workshops. They will push you to buy the workshop but you do not have too. The time you can watch them free is limited.
I only listen to the talks I am interested in. The last one that helped me was a dog homeopath. She gave the remedies for vomiting and for diarrhea. We have had moments with DrewB having these ailments. We have a store close to us called Taylor Made that sells the remedies and I put them in my first aid kit. I bought six remedies and it was half the cost of one vet visit. I will use my judgment if faced with having to use these. Just like with people not everyone is comfortable with alternative treatments for dogs. I have also learned after watching these videos to be careful applying some of their ideas.
I remind myself I know my dog the best and whether it is conventional or alternative medicine I now proceed with caution and do research before I decide what to do unless it is an emergency. I do this for me too!.5 -
I can't wear my daily jeans to my lunch date because they are too tight for eating. And my pretty new mint sweater shows my belly is growing. I have got to stop stress eating! Nobody can do this but me.

Hi Gals,
Annie- I have had a similar problem with my mom on the bills, of course, it has some differences. But what I did was get a old fashion paper address book. I found one at Staples – it’s a chain of business/home stationary supplies – not sure what is in your area. And then I used it to begin to collect data. So for example who is the cable TV/internet supplier - I just unplugged her router and told her it was down and I needed to call the company – because my mom is hearing impaired (especially without her hearing aids- which she would prefer to not wear) I got her to give me the company name, phone number, web address and her account number - I then called and told her I would play around and see if I could fix it while I was on hold. Well I did fix it…. Lol… I just plugged it back in. I told her that it was fixed. Then I logged into the company web page and made an account to get in and manage her account myself. I have been working on my list for about 2 years now and have gotten it pretty complete. Because of the hearing impairment and the fact she hates to wait on the phone, I can leverage those things to get what I need to get access.
My managing many things for my mom requires me to keep my life as organized and streamlined as possible in order to free up time for managing another household. I am no where near good at it but keep listening for suggestions of what others do and trying stuff that even seems possible.
Love ya all,

Phew I finally got through reading..I had to uninstall and reinstall MFP to get it to work..
I also deleted quite a few apps.
Went with my friends to a new restaurant last night here in town to listen to her brother and a friend play..in the bar area.. we had reservations but were over in the far corner and not easily seen.took 45 min to get drinks I just had a diet soda.and then we waited and waited and waited I went to the bar and asked for a pitcher of water and I brought it over to the table and poured everyone extra water and then we waited some more. I finally got up and went to one of the waitresses and said we have a large party and we have been waiting over an hour to get our order taken...
So the owner who got us the drinks.. comes over in a huff with a pad to take our orders
And then its close to another 45 minutes before we get the food..
They have a very nice dining room..
But the guys were playing in the bar.. and the bar was packed 2-3 deep and the deck outside was full also..
The food was very good once we got it.
But I will say when hometown people play and its a smaller venue they can't handle all the people..
I left around 9 and came home.
Alfie and I are just hanging out today.. the high is going to 83..and tomorrow in the 50s 😵💫4 -

1.Write down three things you can look forward to this month. 1. Another month of sobriety 2. Cooler weather 3. Decorating for Halloween
2. Find something to be optimistic about (even if it’s a difficult time). I am optimistic about cooler weather.
3. Take a small step to a goal that really matters to you. I need to call my uncle.
4. Start the day with the most important thing on your to-do-list. Updating this list and My Fitness Pal.
5. Be a realistic optimist. See life as it is but focus on what’s good. I usually hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I think this counts!
6. Remind yourself that things can change for the better. No matter how bad you think it is, it can always get worse. So enjoy life no matter where you are, or what you are doing, or your circumstances.
7. Look for the good in people around you today. I can do this if I try. This was not difficult to do with visitors. Employees were a different matter!
8. Make some progress on a project or task you’ve been avoiding. I need to clean the cabinets out. I am planning to start today. Didn’t happen.
9. Share an important goal with someone you trust. did not do this.
10. Take time to reflect on what you have accomplished recently. I have accomplished coloring pages, making doctor appointments, calming my nerves by taking some actions I never tried before, and more.
11. Avoid blaming yourself or others. Find a helpful way forward. This is hard for me.
12. Look out for positive news and reasons to be cheerful today. With everything going on around me and in me this will be hard, but I will pay attention to good news.
13. Ask for help to overcome an obstacle you are facing. The obstacles I have cannot be solved by me, but by family members.
14. Do something constructive to improve a difficult situation. I will have to think on this. I posted pictures of the eclipse that happened here on the Friends Group FB page, and sent some pics to my son and grandson.
15. Thank yourself for achieving the things you often take for granted. I got up in a thankful mood today so I should be able to do this. The eclipse yesterday couldn’t have gone better.
16. Put down your to-list and do something fun or uplifting. I will color, walk, and meditate-all things that are fun and uplifting to me.
17. Take a small step toward a positive change you want to see in society. Teaching adults computer use provides a positive change in my community.
18. Set hopeful, but realistic goals for the days ahead. My biggest hope for the near future is a holiday without depression and ‘drama’ caused by my family.
19. Identify one of your positive qualities that will be helpful in the future. I think my tenacity will always be helpful to me and others.
20. Find joy in tackling a task you’ve put off for some time. This will have to wait as I am not feeling too good today. Fall cold.
21. Let go of the expectations of others and focus on what matters to you. I have been working on this, so this will be in progress for a while. Because I did this, my mother finally called me to see what was up after 3 weeks of missed calls from me.
22. Share a hopeful quote, picture, or video with a friend or colleague. Will do here.
23. Recognize that you have a choice of what to prioritize. I will put myself first for care so I can take care of others and my normal tasks.
24. Write down three specific things that have gone well recently. Some of my close family contacted me instead of the other way around, 2. Getting appointments with a cardiologist, and a nephrologist. 3. I am over 2 months sober!
25. You can’t do everything! What are three priorities right now? 1. Better financial management, 2. My eyes and cataract surgery, 3. Researching and getting my name on lists of potential places to retire to in 3-4 years.26. Find a new prospective on a problem you face. I need to take a hard look at our budget.
27. Be kind to yourself today. Remember progress takes time. I hope to go for a walk and to color today.
28. Ask yourself ‘will this still matter a year from now?’ This helps me to make better decisions when I do this.29. Plan a fun or exciting activity to look forward to.
30. Identify three things that give you hope for the future.
31. Set a goal that brings a sense of purpose for the coming month.

Kim thank you for that example. You did a great job! Just because it will take time to gather the data doesn't mean I shouldn't start, and be organized about it.

Annie & Kim ~ You both seem to be making headway getting your mom's bills sorted out. When my brother-in-law went into assisted living due to his memory/health problems, my Dh became his authorized bill payer and I pay all of his bills online. The best thing was that he had kept a very good spreadsheet that showed all the people who needed to be paid with information on logging in to accounts. We tried our best to help him get back online again but he just couldn't handle doing it.
Barbie ~ Getting help training Annie was a good idea. So glad that both pups slept most of the night.
Allie ~ Sorry your night out was disappointing. I am to the point where I hate visiting with large groups in restaurants because it is usually confusing and a long wait.
Lisa & Heather ~ I was thinking this morning about the artistic talents that both of you display...painting, writing, sculpting, dancing etc. You both are blessed.
Lanette ~ Hope your chicks do well in the cold weather. Sorry to hear about A's hurt leg and hope she will lay an egg soon.

Much love,
Kylia in rainy Ohio
We have a similar problem here. People will lose their phone, glasses, car keys, watches in the water and expect us to find it. The lake is 90 feet deep! Even the scuba divers don’t go down that far. There is one lady that comes every year, in pj’s asking about her prescription sunglasses. When we ask her when she lost them, she says a while ago. This last time she wanted to look in our dumpsters! (YUCK!!). It seems most of these wait a few days to a week later (some even longer) before they ask us to look for the item. The State Park rule for found items is that if they don’t come back within 2 weeks to claim the item, it will be trashed (or if useful kept by someone). We have gotten propane ovens, grills, charcoal, charcoal lighter, shoes for the alien my DH built, lawn chairs, all in perfect working order! The newest was a fan that my DH (ever the junk picker). He caught the person tossing a fan into the dumpster. DH asked what was wrong with it, and the person told him nothing, that they just didn’t like it! We got a new microwave and toaster oven that way too. Nothing wrong with them except the people didn’t like how they work. I wish I could change things just because!
Back on subject, the people who lose stuff come back a week or longer to see if we found the item. And chances are it has been disposed of if not useable, like clothes (we find everything from shoes, skivvies, and everything else including hats)! The get mad, but why did they wait so long to come or call about it? SMH 🤦♀️

Michelle We cashed in my DH’s coins after researching the worth. Just know that you won’t get what the research shows. The buyers always give a LOT less than what you think. What you find for worth online is depending on a coin that is in perfect condition and kept in a holder. Otherwise, they take off for every little worn area.
Barbara in WA Awesome pictures!
Tracy The days post I do comes from an app I have. I had one a long time ago that just gave a list, no pictures unless you clicked on one for more information. The get the days by researching all over the place. I searched on this and found there are all sorts of things, like on this day in history, famous birthdays, celebrations, foods, and just about anything you can think of. Different searches will bring up different events. As Machka would say, there is a database somewhere with all these things and they search on that with certain terms to get the lists I send everyone. I am glad you enjoy those lists! I think it adds a little fun to the day!
Coke/soda and cabbage rolls It’s funny, even when coke first came out in the 60’s I think, I never liked it, but I would ask for ‘green soda’ at restaurants, things like ginger ale, 7up, Sprite. These I like and still do but rarely drink them. I did find some soda that is KETO friendly call Zevia. It is made with stevia. My DH and I like this, but it is expensive and hard to find, so a rare treat.
It’s funny that cabbage rolls were discussed here! My DH is the cook at my house and he made some cabbage rolls this week! He tried something different and filled a few with leftover chicken, not our favorite, so back to the beef ones. We now use basmati rice mostly rather than white. Much better taste, and less carbs, and more fiber. Good for ya!
