    My trend weight is going up, but I'm not worried about it. I'm focusing on the calories IN and keeping those at or below by 1770 target. Last night, I really wanted a glass of wine. But I had logged my calories throughout the day and I didn't have 'wine calories' available, so no wine. It is those little events that make me feel successful and keep me going.

    Hi everyone.

    I am Dawn. I live in SE British Columbia Canada. I am 5'2" (or 5'3"?) and 64 years of age. I have done a bunch of these 100s now, I have lost count lol. I was sitting at 130 for quite awhile, trying desperately to get into the 120s, but gained little by little over the last couple of years. My "ideal" weight should be between 110-118 for my height, BMI, and stuff. At this point I just really want to get back into the 130s.

    Week 1 Start Weight: 144.4

    Week 1 Goal: 142.4 (seems lofty, but I was at 143.0 for two days in a row at the end of the last 100)

    Week 1 Actual Weight: 144.2- Hit 142.6 this week, the day before the end of our week, which was so close to my goal.

    Week 2 Start Weight: 143.2

    Week 2 Goal: 142.4 - Trying for the same goal as last week

    Week 2 Actual Weight: 143.0 (Once in 100 days Ribs eaten, hit 142.2 this week)

    Week 3 Start Weight: 143.6

    Week 3 Goal: 141.8

    Week 3 Actual Weight: 139.6 - Hit 139.0 this week.

    Day 50—07/03— 139.8 - Up 1.4 from yesterday for some reason. C'est ma vie lol. I was only .4 away from my goal yesterday.

    Halfway Progress Report: …..Pounds Lost so Far: 4.6 - It doesn't mean too much too me because I am so up and down and all around. The start weight of the 100 I think was 3 pounds more than my end weight from the previous (I will have to check).

    Day 51—07/04— 139.2 - Ending up with a short workday today, so I will try to get 3 more rows of the potato garden weeded starting at 3:30 and then give everything a good watering. 11-7 the next 2 days, and then a split on Monday, and then a day off : - )

    Day 52—07/05— 139.8 - 5am weigh-in, so a bit heavier than I would like it to read. Yes, up way too early. 7:30 now and tired already but I know that I won't be able to go back to bed. Watering the garden was on my list of things to do this morning, but once it got light I saw that everything was wet and that it is still raining. Rain makes things grow much better than what comes out of the tap. I am having a lovely morning so far, wish that I could stay home all day, but can't. I will putter around this morning and there is stuff that I can do in the yard/garden in the rain : - )

    Day 53—07/06— 140.6 - Of course not happy with this. Work was very busy yesterday and I took lots of food with me including my granola/yoghurt thing, but only managed my 6 strawberries. Rainy days are always busy at the Indian restaurant. I must eat my granola/yoghurt before work today. Quite enjoying my morning so far. Each Sunday morning is an hour of Classical Music on the radio from 7-8am. Ravel today : - )

    Day 54—07/07— 140.8 - Steadily climbing. And tonight is my once per week indulgent night where I have wings or something like that. Another super busy day at the Indian restaurant yesterday. Great for $$. I didn't get to eat my strawberries until almost 5pm. Split shift today. A 2 hour break is great for a little shopping or gardening or whatever, then a glorious day off tomorrow to spend in the yard. Supposed to be very hot here. I am happy to be getting one day off per week, but I don't get much of a tan with just one day. Not sure what I will do yet before work this morning. Just finishing my second cup of coffee. Really don't feel like eating any breakfast, but I will try. Maybe a rice cake and sunflower butter or a slice of toast. Too out of the habit of having breakfast lately, even though I know that it will fire up my metabolism/furnace for the day. Not too motivated.

    Day 55—07/08— 140.6 - My indulgent night. 2 cocktails, plus I had 6 hot breaded chicken wings (frozen boxed variety cooked in the toaster oven) and 4 jalapeno poppers. Warnings on the boxes: high sodium, high fat. My fibre numbers are still too low, I will try to have some beans with my dinner and grain toast for breakfast. Day off today, and I will spend the entire day out in my garden, I am so behind on everything from that 35 days stretch without a day off. It is supposed to be very hot, so I will try to get out early and find a headband to keep the sweat from dripping into my eyes. I often see a big weight gain the day after heavy labour in the sun. I will be okay with that.

    Day 56—07/09— 140.4 - 2 jobs on the docket for today and tomorrow. I feel like I mitigated a gain from labouring in the sun by putting my body into my neighbour's kiddie pool to cool my core instead of my body going into shock and holding on to fat. Expecting (and hoping) to see this number lower in the coming days. Last week I ended at 138.4, so I am up a whole 2 pounds this week! I don't like that of course.

    Thoughts at the start of this round:

    My goal from the very beginning has been to lose one pound per week for a total of 12 pounds per challenge. I have never considered that to be too much and I never thought in a million years I would find it this difficult, even at my age and with my health problems. But it’s proved to be nothing but an uphill climb and in most cases, impossible. I am going to lower my goal to 10 pounds per challenge and see if that will feel more right, more do-able. This breaks down to 0.7 lbs per challenge week. I don’t think that is too much to ask of my mind, my body and my spirit! I, again, thank you for sharing my journey with me and allowing me to travel with you on yours. It is reassuring, refreshing, enlightening and inspiring and I am forever grateful.

    Hi. I’m an unretired (by choice) senior from central B.C., Canada. Back for another round. After being an absolute backsliding turtle for the past ?18 months, my Ultimate challenge goal is to lose 20lbs.

    SW: 181.8 ; GW: 161 ; UGW 140

    Week 8:

    Day 50 ~ 07/03: 178 Rather pointless day as plans kept changing. Had hoped to get out paddling but temps dropped. Paid bills etc. Financial re organizing.

    Halfway Progress Report: -3.8.Pounds Lost so Far, but aware I’ve wasted many days.

    Day 51 ~ 07/04: 177.2 August is going to be awesome! In 30 days I’ll be joining a friend for 6 days on Pender Island (Gulf Island just on north side of US / Canada marine border). Have Grandson visiting a week later, followed by a Family Weekend later in so put in for a “leave of absence’ from Aug 3rd to 28th. Told manager I’d be ‘her girl’ for July, working whatever shifts needed coverage! Lol, Now to make every day count!! Dusting off exercise machines in the carport is on today’s “Job List”. Need to find different lakes with suitable launch sites; checked out two and both were muddy and slimey.

    Day 52 ~ 07/05: 176.2 Had an awesome sleep in (guys are off getting wood). Back to work this afternoon.

    Day 55 ~ 07/08: 180 now this is really sobering!

I set up a Go Fund Me Page but I won't post the link because I don't want to look like I am panhandling or anything. But there was no question of NOT having this surgery for him. And I am worried…hoping he will come through ok.

    Thoughts at the start of this round:

    My goal from the very beginning has been to lose one pound per week for a total of 12 pounds per challenge. I have never considered that to be too much and I never thought in a million years I would find it this difficult, even at my age and with my health problems. But it’s proved to be nothing but an uphill climb and in most cases, impossible. I am going to lower my goal to 10 pounds per challenge and see if that will feel more right, more do-able. This breaks down to 0.7 lbs per challenge week. I don’t think that is too much to ask of my mind, my body and my spirit! I, again, thank you for sharing my journey with me and allowing me to travel with you on yours. It is reassuring, refreshing, enlightening and inspiring and I am forever grateful.

    Hi everyone.

    I am Dawn. I live in SE British Columbia Canada. I am 5'2" (or 5'3"?) and 64 years of age. I have done a bunch of these 100s now, I have lost count lol. I was sitting at 130 for quite awhile, trying desperately to get into the 120s, but gained little by little over the last couple of years. My "ideal" weight should be between 110-118 for my height, BMI, and stuff. At this point I just really want to get back into the 130s.

    Week 1 Start Weight: 144.4

    Week 1 Goal: 142.4 (seems lofty, but I was at 143.0 for two days in a row at the end of the last 100)

    Week 1 Actual Weight: 144.2- Hit 142.6 this week, the day before the end of our week, which was so close to my goal.

    Week 2 Start Weight: 143.2

    Week 2 Goal: 142.4 - Trying for the same goal as last week

    Week 2 Actual Weight: 143.0 (Once in 100 days Ribs eaten, hit 142.2 this week)

    Week 3 Start Weight: 143.6

    Week 3 Goal: 141.8

    Week 3 Actual Weight: 139.6 - Hit 139.0 this week.

    @Crochetluvr Sorry to hear about your dog. I hope your dog recovers. We've had those kinds of emergency vet bills. It is never a good feeling.

    @deepwoodslady Don't be disappointed with yourself. Take it as a learning opportunity. One day does not define us. You might find the latest Coach Viva cravings video helpful (to be honest, it is not my favourite Coach Viva video because Richa focuses mostly on what worked for her. Everyone is different. So, everyone needs to figure out their steps up the craving ramp.)
