    I would love to join you guys if you will let me :) I love that you set weekly goals and your all so excited!! It's so motivating!!!! I need to have some friends that are in the same ballpark as I am.... The 100 lbs to lose ballpark that is!!

    Hey Guys!! So I Have An Issue That I Really Need Help With. I Have To Quit Drinking. When I Get Upset The First Thing I Turn To Is Alcohol. I Always Tell Myself That Alcohol Won't Make The Problems Go Away But It's Just Always There. And When I Drink I Have A Tendency To Eat Horribly Too. I Know I Planned A Cheat Day For Myself But It Turned Horrible After A Series Of Events [Including Being Robbed And Fist Fights] I Went Completely Overboard. In Fact I'm Going To Step On The Scale Right Now Just To See How Much I Gained Back.

    In Two Days I've Put On Almost Every Single Pound I Lost This Week. I Really Have Issues With Controlling My Emotions And It Makes Me Eat Horribly And Drink. I Have To Fight This Or It Will Be My Undoing.

    Gained weight this weekend. I had a bad Saturday and Sunday eating wise. I ate so much I can't remember what to write down. I will attempt to remember. Start again Monday morning.

    I hear you!! Weekends can be such a challenge because thats the time most people have free to socialise...but don't beat yourself up!! Start afresh today and count everything!! And i find sometimes having a couple of veggie only dinners say (like soup or stir fry) , twice a week may help to balance out some of the weekend. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

    Did my challenge of the day! 5 sets of 10 pushups. Thought i would cheat by doing wall pushups. i thought they would be easier. after the first set (and my arms started to burn) i realized i was wrong. Great challenge chillrose!

    Does anyone know if MFP records exercise dvds under the exercise section. Just did a 30min Richard Simmons dvd (80s blast off). It was great!

    I know this pain all to well. I am the mother of a special needs tween... She has severe scoliosis so bad she nearly died and had to have experimental surgery 10 yrs ago. Since then our lives have been up and down, Including a 6 week stint on life support for acute respiratory distress syndrome. My weakness was sweets. When something went wrong, I ran to the freezer.. I gained 100 pounds in 10 yrs. So I went from "obese to Morbidly" but thats not good for me... So now when I'm upset. Which happened recently with my better half opting to re enlist. I turned on the radio and worked out for 45 minutes instead of running to the fridge.... best of luck and if you need anything my emails brwneyedgemini@gmail.com

    This has been a hard weekend for me too. I have 'used' exercise to keep just within my goal calories and worry about logging in the ones from parties. We need a break every once in a while too. I think it will be fine once we get back in the grove again.

    Morning all, I need some ideas. My right knee seems to be giving me issues so I'm taking tomorrow off of my normal workout. Do you think weight training will be enough or should I do modified yoga??

    I think it really depends on your schedule currently - are you working out everyday? Changing up your muscle groups? Have you done any cardio this week? If working out is something you're not used to doing, make sure to work your way up to 5+x a week otherwise, you'll keep injuring yourself.

    I know when I have issues with my back/hips, stretching really helps bring me out of it quicker than no movement at all. I have a routine of stretches that I do daily. Generally speaking though, the first day I'm in pain, I do ease off any exercise to make sure my body has a chance to heal. Listen to what your body tells you though.

    So glad to have everyone in our group. So I'm seeing everyone beating themselves up over the long weekend and bad food choices...:huh:

    Did anyone take a gander at my food diary...??:noway:

    Look, I had a great weekend with my family, and unfortunately healthy food choices were not always an option, and this big woman right here ain't going to go hungry.:indifferent:

    So this is a new week, and we have to work a little harder...it builds character.:bigsmile: :glasses:

    I love you guys.:heart: Stop worrying about the weekend, and get on with the challenges!:happy:

    count me in. I have stopped and started so many times; having others starting from the same place I am (100+ lbs overweight) and lending support will make the difference this time. WE CAN DO THIS!!
