Hi Gang! CLX Push Circuit 2 was BROUGHT this morning!

Did you know that I'm entered into this month's Beachbody Body Transformation game on Facebook? First prize is $25,000 for the best transformation due to Turbo Fire! Anyone can enter so if you're interested send me your email address and I'll send you the link to get registered. Of course you must be doing or have just completed a full round of Turbo Fire because you'll be expected to answer several questions about your experience...AND you must be signed up with a BB coach because they'll ask you for that person's name.

Hope you all have a great day.

Sharon if I had done the full round I would probably enter... but I've just been doing the workouts here and there in between other workouts. Doubt that would work lol.

As far as eating goes, I'm doing okay. Much better than when I first started my job. Here lately it seems I've been able to get a few stressing issues out of the way, so I'm feeling better and eating better than I was a week or two ago.

Sharon you're going strong with your workouts and that's great! I'm proud of you for your determination and focus!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Lisa. Right now this is one of the few areas I still have under control so I'm holding on to it like a lifeline!

Glad your eating is going well. Mine is going less well and at some point my brain is going to kick my heart's *kitten* and say enough is enough. I'm totally wallowing in my emotions and emotional eating is an issue for me.

Anyway, I love talking with you guys so thanks for listening!

That's completele understandable Sharon. I'd do the same thing.. I eat when I'm stressed. It's weird cause I'm not exactly an emotional eater. If I'm upset or sad I don't eat, but when I'm stressed out I eat non-stop! Part-time emotional eater, maybe? lol

And you're right.. you'll get right back into it full force before long. you just have to give yourself some time to adjust to what's going on.. and sometimes that means relaxing your routine a little.. just know it's ok. I'm confident that you won't let this hold you back for long!

And as always, we're here for you. Just like you offered me, if you want to talk about anything, just send me a PM. Not saying you couldn't post it here, but I do know anyone basically has access to read what's typed here... and same for you Sam should you need to talk about anything personal. ---- Just throwing that out there.

It would be nice if we had the option for this thread to be readable only by us 3. I'm all for others joining our group, but it seems a few have and then they're gone... we're the only ones who have stuck around the whole time!

You are so sweet to offer that Lisa. Thanks it means a lot! You're right I'm not always comfortable posting EVERYTHING because anyone could read it. I'm very lucky to have found you guys and I'm happy we've all stuck together!

Wow ladies, Ive missed alot today. LOL

Amazing...Sharon! If there was a voting poll...I'd definately be on Team Sharon :)

And yes, I feel exactly the same way...about the posting and PM when need be. I am here to talk to you both and just to listen/vent to...or anything else in that case. I look forward to reading your posts and knowing how your days have been. I like sharing as well.

I feel like we are a cute little group.

No work out tonight...ate really fricking well though. I am proud...one of my sister's birthday and I passed up pizza and cake so I am heading to bed without feeling completely guilty not working out (based on my eats today)

As for emotional eating...I am not sure when I eat. As for you Sharon, it is perfectly normal for you to be emotional eating right now, whether it is because your sad, upset or stressed. You'll figure it all out, get the eats in order, kill it even more in the workouts and win that transformation contest.

Hypothetical....let's say you are invited to a wedding in the beginning of december that is about 1200-1500miles away. Kids will have to be pulled out of school for it and of course, the cost of the whole trip is a factor as well. Is it wrong for the bride-to-be and groom-to-be to expect you to be there? What if the guest is a very close relative...like a brother or sister~ does that change the expectations? What are your thoughts?

Thanks Sam. If I make it to the voting round then anyone can vote because it's done entirely on Facebook so believe me I'll be screaming from the rooftop here on MFP to get all your friends, family, and coworkers to vote for me every day during the voting period.

As for your hypothetical question...how close are you to the bride and/or groom...immediate family or close cousins are different than friends...unless it's your BFF cause that's family too. Personally I would not be offended if someone told me they couldn't attend my wedding because it was too expensive. I missed my best friend's wedding because he was getting married in California and I couldn't afford to go. I missed my cousin's wedding because it was on the other side of the country and neither Glenn nor I could take the time off. The only wedding I would move hell and high water to get to is my sister's...but that's just me

There is no right or wrong answer here....just the one that makes you comfortable. Great job on the eats today!

Morning Gang. We're glued to the TV today waiting to see if the Gov't shuts down because if it does then my husband will be out of work until they get their s**t together. Fun times peeps!:explode:

To combat my frustration, I did Fire 30 with weighted gloves. Great way to get it all out in a productive way.

Hope you all have a great day.

Ran 5M tonight with 4M @ 8:49 min pace and burned 451 cals. Eats were good and was outside most of the day doing stuff that needs to get done. Temps were in the 80's here and it was an awesome change.

    Happy Monday!!

So remember we all marked down our 5week weights??Well, today is the day. I am weighing in 140;bs but my 5 weeks said 137 so a bit off. I am down 1 lb since last week. And Ive been keeping my weight track for quite sometime and on March 28 I weighed in at 141 and on March 28 2010 I weighed in at 140. Atleast my rollar coaster travels along the same track year to year. LOL

Great workout Sharon!!! About to go get my TF on in a bit. :)

Wow Sam that's great! I'm still fluctuating around 153 - 154 but my eating has not been perfect so I'm sure that's why. I'm not down about it though because I haven't been working on it...thank god for my workouts which keep my weight fairly steady even with the less than great eating!

Thats awesome Sam! I've never ate well enough to think about comparing that. lol

I've been fluctuating around the same weight (195) for a year now. Right now it's up a little cause of school now.. (finally settled in and more comfortable with work). But my upcoming finals, papers and presentations make me crave food (bad food) constantly. It's discouraging, but I'm hanging in there until I can focus (one huge stressor will be finished by next Tuesday night). I know it's bad to put off eating right, but I know there's just a lot to juggle now and I WILL get on track. I'm still trying to eat better.. not giving up on it. And I have a workout planned this evening.

It also doesn't hurt that around the time school is over, Easter will be too and then Easter candy won't be tempting me when I'm already vulnerable! Easter candy is my favorite.... :grumble:

Like you said Sharon, if it weren't for working out saving me I don't know what I'd do! Gain in massive numbers..? Ugh don't wanna go back down that road. Thank goodness I'm working out enough to keep from gaining much.

I got a bad sunburn at the lake Sunday and it's still very painful. I skipped working out yesterday cause I don't think I could have made any progress anyway. Hopefully it will be bareable today.

Lisa! It's so great to hear from you Girl. Sad to hear you got such a bad sunburn though. That's not fun

    Hope it gets better soon.

Im so proud of you ladies for sticking and pushing hard with thte workouts. Food will come, when you are ready. I am not even close to 100% but I am working at it...probably a little harder now because my goal is peeking at me from around the corner.

Went to the bike path and ran 4.75 miles with kiddo on his bike. Great run!

Officially signed up for my very 1st half marathon. I will be running it on May 15th. I hope to break 2 hrs. I am working hard in my training. Then I can take it easy and have fun at any additional 1/2's I do in the future. Oh the ideal!!! LOL

Happy Wednesday Y'All! Fire 55 EZ with my weighted gloves this morning. Burned 481 calories which for me is low. I have to tell you I ate frozen yogurt last night and I was feeling the extra sugar. During the workout I felt sluggish, my movement was less intense, and I spent the entire 53 minutes wishing the workout would just be over. So unlike me

I'm happy to say I finished the entire workout but I'm going to do it again on Friday to see how I do w/o the added sugar the night before. Did you ever find your workout impacted by what you ate the night before???

Hope you all have a great day. Cocoa and I will be doing our 3 mile walk later to add some extra burn to my total.

Oh, Sharon...I definitly have. If I have something heavy, like pasta, it really makes my workouts way tougher. I dont like it at all.

I did a late night workout last night. Fire 45...Do you have any problem with your feet getting a little sore from pivoting so much around. I turn my feet so my knees dont take the torque but then I feel it near the end on the inside of my feet...like big toe/ball of the foot area.

Tonight is a run on the treadmill...waaay to windy for me outside. Ready for the weekend...no plans but just been tired all week...TOM next week so I'm sure that is the culprit.

Ladies! Well today was my re-attempt at Fire 55EZ with my weighted gloves but minus the sugar overload the night before! HRM showed 508 calories burned...MUCH BETTER result than last time!

Awesome workout Sam! Thanks for dropping in to my other threads to see how I'm doing. There are so many fantastic people on MFP searching for love and support. I'm so happy to be able to provide that to so many people during their weight loss journeys. Did you get my info on Asylum?

Lisa how are you doing Girlfriend????? Miss you!

    Have a fantastic Friday.

I'm doing good Sharon, thanks for asking. I burned over 1200 calories yesterday. No workout for me today. I just got off work and we're going out of town for the weekend... bye bye to my 250 days in a row. :( Maybe I can find a computer where I'll be at....

I didn't get your info on the Asylum and I'd like to.. I'm interested in that program! Esp since it's only 30 days. I can do 30 days. :)

Hope yall have a great weekend.. sorry I haven't been posting as much. School is almost over and then will end SOME of the chaos.. I hope.

Super job Sharon with CLX!!! How were this months results? I know that you hadnt seen the scale change much, but what about inches? Either way...your committment is AMAZING!!!

Ran 5.3 miles last night at about 8:30min pace the entire time. Well, really I did the first 4M at 8:34min pace and then bumped up the last 1.3M to 8:13min pace. I was super, duper sweaty but finished and felt pretty good. I want to kill the 2hr mark at my half. Its my goal!!!!!!!!!

Debating what to go do as a workout as I sit here and type. Some Insanity?? How about some CLX for strengthening?? hmmmm....

I am excited about trying Asylum...and hopefully Monday I can order it. I like that its 30 days. Short, sweet and kilyah, I am sure. LOL

But thats what I love about Insanity....my speed and endurance get so much better. And I am sure Aslyum will be no different.

Long run tomorrow with a few people...I think we have to do 8M. Then shopping with a girl I graduated with...should be fun :)

Happy Saturday to you ladies!!! Rainy and gloomy here but thats alright.

Hi Sam! I actually forgot to take my measurements this morning so I will do that tomorrow and post the results. I feel tighter and my pants are definitely getting looser...in fact, I've started buying Mediums in my workout pants/shorts which is amazing to me.

Great run last night! You must be shrinking away from all that cardio you're doing. I'm excited to hear your thoughts about Asylum once you're able to get it. Thanks again for choosing to switch to me as your Coach!

Have a fantastic rest of the day!

Nice job with the workouts ladies!

Sharon you're doing so great with CLX. I need to start that program again soon.

Sam you kill with the runs!! I envy that.

We're back from vacation. The weekend was wayyy too short! I plan on going for a walk this evening. Maybe even add in a dvd...

    Have a great Sunday!

Sharon~ that is soooo great! I am super happy for you. You work so hard at your workouts and deserve it. Smaller sized clothes makes for such a happy day :)

Lisa~ the weekends ALWAYS go by way too quickly. grrrr!!! LOL but I hope that you had a great vacation!!!!

4 weeks from today is the half marathon. I am little nervous and excited. But I know I will finish. 7miles done this morning, despite the gusts of wind. LOL Then a trip to the outlet mall about 1hr away. Got a few things...like new clothes for running, a few things for my boyfriend and kiddo.

I am exhausted and just getting a few things done and then I am sinking into my cozy bed for the night.

Onto another week ladies...Let's make it count :)
