I don't know for sure but I think I may be feeling the baby move the last day or two. I have had the wierdest feeling in my stomach. It is hard to describe but I can't figure out what else it would be. The movement is lower on my stomach/pelvis area than I expected if it is the baby but what do I know! When did you ladies first feel your LO?

I felt movements between 16-18 weeks that I wasn't 100% sure were baby, but after that it became pretty obvious. Now it's like having an NFL kicker renting space in my abdomen  The first movements that I felt (and was sure were baby) were a lot lower than I had always assumed they would be. I'm just starting to feel his movements further up towards my belly button.

Probably is your little one you are feeling! Pretty neat, huh?

With this one I felt it first about 12 weeks, which is unusual (but I was sure it was it, and verified a few days later when they were searching for the heartbeat with the doppler, and I wanted to point and go - it's right THERE!. I didn't, but when they found it, it was exactly where I would have pointed.) Then it stopped for a few weeks until 15 or 17. Little twings (I compare to eyelid twitches) and more defined kicks between 18 and 20. Now I can feel it poking out both sides when it stretches, or definitely feel pops to my bladder. :grumble: I could see and feel the movement from the outside around 20 weeks probably.

I was about 16 weeks when I first felt a fluttering feeling. :)

    Hey ladies!

I am TTC and I have my first IUI session tomorrow afternoon. I have been working out and eating right so that I may be able to keep it up during pregnancy and help me recover after pregnancy as well. I am doing really well and have toned up quite a bit so I hope it pays off! Once pregnant, how much did you girls alter your workout regimen? I hope I won't have to slow down too much, but I have read that once you hit the third trimester you can't do any exercises that require lying on your back. I'm glad I found this thread! :]

I was doing P90x doubles but too fatigued so I stopped that and went back to my normal gym cardio classes. I didn't change what I was doing, but probably slowed down a bit compared to what I could do before - just due to heart rate and fatigue. I also did not lift too heavy, though most of that was because my back was hurting more than because I was pregnant. Most places say no lying on the back after 1st Tri. My midwife said I could do it as long as it was for short amts of time and I felt fine and did not stand up too quickly.

My appointment went fantastic today! Without me having to bed, plead, or cry my Doc immediately said she wanted to schedule an u/s at 6 weeks to check and see how many there were (since I took Clomid) and to make sure everything was as it should be. My u/s is schedule for March 16th (the day before DH leaves for Army training for the next 2 months). I will be 6 weeks and 1 day. I asked what the plan would be just in case we don't see a heartbeat and she said that we would just do another u/s a week or 2 later depending on the hcg levels. I had blood work as well to check Progesterone and HCG. I should be getting a call tomorrow to hear results. If the levels aren't super high she said I will do another draw on Friday to make sure they doubled. I weighed in at 150lbs at the doc office. Why am I always 5lbs heavier on their scale?! Their scale is evil! I weighed yesterday at 145/146lbs at home (it kept jumping back and forth). I'm gonna stick with my number. I like it better!

It has been a long crazy day. I will come back later and catch up on posts. I do wanna say that the neighbor with the fat mouth needs to grow some tact! She obviously has NONE! Also, Racheal have you seriously only gained 1lb in 20wks?! You don't look a lb over 115 in your picture that's for sure!

AnneElise -- I started feeling her nearly daily around 16 weeks. Very low down & very subtle. Now she's a whole lot less subtle  but I still feel the movement very low down. But my baby is still breach so it makes sense to me that I'd feel her kicking down low, you know?

Heather -- So glad your appointment went well!

So I posted earlier about the ultrasound while waiting to see the OB because the office was running a little behind (first time we've really had to wait a while). We finally got into a room where we waited for another good 10-15 minutes. The doc finally came in & looked over the notes from the ultrasound. Said baby got A+s on everything & that everything looked perfect. She also said she was measuring in the 33rd percentile weight wise so I'm very relieved she's a normal size but also very relieved it's not looking like we're going to have a 10 pounder. So basically we waited a good 30-45 minutes for the doc to come in and talk to us for (seriously, no exaggerating) 2 minutes.

Welcome! I just became pregnant so I'm new here as well! My high risk pregnancy specialist doctor said that there is no reason to change your routine at all from what you've been doing before pregnancy. Today at my first OB appt the doc said to continue to do what I've been doing. The only thing I've changed is instead of working out 3 hours on Mon/wed/fri I cut out cardio kickboxing and only workout for 2 hours those days because I'm more tired now. I am still working out 6 days a week at least an hour every day! Keep it up as long as you aren't in pain or bleeding!

Thanks for the information! I look forward to finding out if this IUI will be successful or not. Either way, I plan on continuing my workouts and eating well. Thanks again!

Glad it all went well and hopefully you have some peace of mind now. I altered my MFP to show the doctors evil number and have only used their weigh ins. I rather look at the worst case scenario than make myself feel bad when I see one number at home then have to go in to the office and think that I gained a crazy amount of weight.

I feel ya! I left the house at 6:30a yesterday to fight rush hour to the midwife's office at 8 to wait about 10 minutes and then see the midwife for about 5. - How you feeling? How's the back? Measure. Doppler. Sign this VBAC consent. See you in 3 weeks. Done. - Then nearly an hour drive back home and about 1/4 tank of gas (at $60 a tank!). That's how all but the first and the US have been so far. Next time is the glucose test so I think I will be complaining more about having to be there an hour than having to be there 15 mins!

Thanks guys. The more I feel it the more I think it is the baby. It feels like something is wriggling around in there. I can't figure out what else it would be.... It almost tickles if that makes any sense.

Heather- I always weigh 5 lbs more at the dr. as well. I can't figure it out.

I am weighing in on friday... my guess is my -4 will be at least to +1...

Heather - I'm glad your appointment went well.

I think I'm the only one that likes my doctors scale. The scale at my family doctor is always 2 - 3 pounds less then my home one, and last week the scale at my OB's office was only 0.3 higher than mine. I always expect a bigger difference because at home I weigh first thing in the morning with no clothes, but I'm not complaining!

When I got home today my pain in the butt neighbor was sitting outside. She tried to start up a conversation but I told her I had stuff to do and went inside. I think she feels bad about what she said (and she should) but I'm not ready to talk to her again just yet. :ohwell:

Aw Heather I am glad your appointment went well!

Welcome Lauren, this forum is great.

So, over the past couple of weeks I have felt the occasional flutter. But tonight as I was sitting on my couch I could actually feel distinct kicks. Oh I love my little one.

ugh. my husband needs to stop with the takeout. He eats crap about every meal of every day and it really affects what I eat. He brings stuff home and then I feel obligated to eat at least some of it. I don't think he ever eats food from home. And he gets irritated with me if I say I don't want fast food or takeout or that he shouldn't get it so much. I would eat fast food / take out maybe only 1 time a month on my own. The combined awful effect of all the calories and the cost is awful. At least tonight I convinced him not to order me something that I would just eat a couple pieces of his sweet and sour chicken.

Not to mention that I have a hard time throwing it out if I know how much of our grocery budget went to it! Like left over pizza etc...

That would be frustrating. I am sorry. I don't have any good advice for you, but good luck!

My husband is usually the voice of reason. I think it would be too hard to have someone bring home all of the bad stuff, the flaw my hubby has is that he LOVES deserts just like I do. We bake several times a week so there is always some sort of goodie in the house (I usually try to swap bad ingredients for healthier options) . Right now we are on the search for the perfect marble cake for our boys' party (can't make that low calorie) so we have been playing around with different recipes and have to eat the cake every night. He used to just give in to whatever I wanted but then that resulted in me gaining 130 lbs and him gaining 70 while I was pregnant with #1.

My hubby is the same but he usually only does it for lunch. We eat out 1 time a week for dinner unless we have something special (like me last night with friends)... but i hate that he eats out for lunch every day so when I got pregnant he agreed to 25 dollars a week for his eating out. When he was done with that he had to pack a lunch. It has worked for us so far.

Looks like I'm not the only one having a hard time logging onto MFP this morning! My cramping hasn't been as bad as it was that night. The doc also said that there is probably some implantation still going on. She also said that me being a little queasy is a good thing. Having GI symptoms is very hopeful she said. Now if I can just get through the next 2 weeks before my u/s I'll be good! Has anyone had a 6 weeks u/s and NOT seen the heartbeat? I know most of the time you can see it so I'm praying that is the case! My DH leaves the day after so I'm praying it is all good news!

Well I hope you all have a good day. I will post what my hcg and progesterone levels are when they call me!
