  • 4/09--usually my day off. Did 1 mile with the girls outside
    4/10--day off
    4/11 --6 miles with LS and 1 mile outside
    4/12 --6 miles with LS and 1 mile in the grocery store ( it was raining, so while my girls were in religion class, I went to the grocery store and walked up and down their aisles (at a slow pace)
    4/13 --6 miles with LS and 1 mile outside ( walked to the elementary school to register my little one for Kindergarten!)

    I would like to let everyone know as on Monday, April 18, I will be going to a place called Simply the Best Slimming (www.simplythebestslimming.com) And I will be following an Ideal Protein diet for about 4 wks. I am also going to be on a Fat Loss Ultrasound Treatment for about 12 sessions. I will still walk with you all. But when I do my weigh in with you on Friday, I may have a lot of weight or inches coming off. So I wanted to explain now.

    4/11-0.42 mile walk outside with 1.07 miles bike ride. 1 mile inside with Leslie. (Got my stroller today that's a bike trailer and stroller. So all I did was take it for a test drive in evening after I got off call. Cant wait until tomorrow to do more.
    4/12-2.13 miles walking outside. 1.41 miles on bike with trailer for kids outside. no Leslie today.
    4/13-1.14 miles bike w/ kids in trailer. No walk in or out, was really tired today for some reason.

    11/4 = No walking, tried my C25K in the morning and failed!!!! I'm sticking to Leslie to wake my body up!
    12/4 = 2 miles (5 mile Fat Burning Walk)
    13/4 = 2 miles (4 Fast and Firm Miles)
    14/4 = 2 miles (5 mile Fat Burning Walk)

    I had 6 miles left and of course since hubby was home for the last two days and this weekend I had the kids home as well, I couldn't do my last 6 miles. :frown:

  • This is Spring Break week for my daughters. We spent the weekend going through spring/summer clothing and some spring cleaning. I'm going to try and enjoy Spring Break yet keep up (somewhat) with the walking.

  • We had huge rain today...so I did the elliptical for 4 miles (my machine is near the girls arts and crafts area):smile: Not going to count them, since this is a walking challenge.

    Finally received the "4 Fast Miles" DVD in the mail today - after almost 3 weeks! I did it this afternoon. Wow!!!! The "Boosted Walking" sessions are great!!! I can already tell this will become a fast favourite!

    Do others do this workout?

    How should I log in Walk and Kick? I have been doing it as .5 hour of aerobics. Any suggestion? I count everything else as walking, very brisk, but sometimes I feel it is better than that.

  • Well, it was Spring Break...the girls were so excited about being able to play in the basement and with their arts and crafts, that I did the elliptical this whole week. I logged 9200 strides every time, but won't count them because they aren't walking strides. Just want to write this down for my own accountability. I am also struggling with TOM water weight gain. This week I also gained a pound. Don't know if my weight goal for April is realistic anymore!

    4/20 -- .5 mile

    Her 5mi fat burning dvd is a good one. She adds little boosts of jogging at the end of each mile. It really jump starts your metabolism.

    That is Amazing!!!! I am hoping to start walking on Tuesday!!! I will probably just do a mile or 2 workout. With the diet they don't want you to exceed over 30 min. I also need to use my resistance band to keep my muscle mass build up.
