I totally want to join this group. alcohol takes up way more of my calories than i would like. the real demon is smoking. if i am smoking i drink way more. if i don't , it is way less. i don't want to smoke all the time or every day but i do want to enough that it definitley affects my attempts at weight loss. at the same time i like being active and i have started back running recently. my goal is to do a half marathon in march. i had joined MFP when i got my droid but have not started really using it until now. i am looking forward to using it as a tool to get to where i want to be. fell free to friend me!!!0

lushy weekend. totally lost track on Friday and Saturday but Saturday we were bowling and I think there was four pitchers among five drinkers, then at dinner two more beers.

Saturday night party and dinner.
Drank 75% of the wine bottleand 1 beer.
Going to try and keep drinking to parties only

Hey guys! So I went out Friday night and was pretty darn proud of myself. I had 2 drinks at one bar, went to another for dinner and had one very large beer and a salad, went to a third bar and had a shot of rum. My husband bought a couple others for me but I poured them in his chaser cause I was having too much fun dancing:devil: :bigsmile:0

Probably no drinks until thursday...then only a small glass of wine. I'm trying not to eat back my exercise calories monday-friday....kind of hoarding them for the weekend and create a weekly, instead of daily deficit!
One night down, lets see how the rest of the week goes0 -
Not drinking until Thursday....we leave for NOLA and I'm sure I will do enough drinking this weekend for the whole year!!

i started mfp whole hog on sunday 10/16 so my stats so far are:
sun- 2 vodka and sugar-free lemonade
mon- 2 glasses of chardonnay
i was off monday and today to get some stuff done at home since work has been slammed and has left me no energy to do much after work then since on couch, watch movies and drink wine. or alternatively, sit on screened in porch, smoke cigarettes, drink wine. have gotten alot done, including some good workouts and will go back into work tomorrow feeling recharged.0 -

Going to dinner with a friend tonight and I might pick a place without a liquor license so no drinking and then maybe I would workout when I get home!0 -
I like the MFP feature that tells you if every day were like today you would weigh XXX in 5 weeks.
Kinda sobering. At least I know why I haven't been able to lose weight....
So starting today - if I don't have the calories I'm not drinking.
(Part two of the challenge will be to exercise every day to earn more calories.)
I'm usually only over on calories due to alcohol, I think I've tamed my sweet tooth and pretty much stopped the fast food habit.
