No loss for me this week, but only .5 of a gain, so I am OK with that. I've been pretty good, but not great, so it is about what I expected. The aggravating part is that my scale is one of those "doctor's" scales, with the weight that slides. (It is a smaller version, not actually like the one at the doctor's office). But the big weight moves by 50's, and I am right around 150. So some days I have to move the big weight down to 100, and the little weight up to 49+, and then other days I have to move the big weight up to 150 and slide the little weight down to .5 or 1. I just wish I could get that darn big weight to STAY AT 100!! :grumble:

So we have the weekend coming up and I am going to challenge everyone to MAKE GOOD CHOICES. Come back to this thread during the weekend or on Monday and tell us all about the GOOD CHOICES that you made. Come on! You can do it!!!!!

Well that's another week over guys and girls... No loss for me I'm up half a pound but not to worry I'll get over it :) so I'm gonna try put the challenge up using the phone...
    This week
Can we try cut out just bread for 3 days ?
2 low carb days fill up on protein
No junk for 3 days . this is my major down fall so I'm gonna do this for 3 days and try 4 next week
Try burn 3000 cals this week
Drink gallons of water and keep the salt down

This weeks mini challenge is as follows
    40 sit up(add 10 each day)
40 push ups (add 5 each day)
Planks (1 min x 5) same each day
    50 jumping jacks ( add 20 a day)
These are the mini challenges every day for the whole week starting today.. These can be added into the 3000 cal burn

We only have 5 more weigh ins let's kick butt and I'd like to ask you to keep an eye on other challengers a few of us are slipping and last week you all got me back into it so maybe we can do it for others...
Thanks for been here and good luck for the week ahead xxxxx
    Sorry for spelling mistakes xxx

    This weeks challenge is wonderful!

-no bread 3 days... done I will do one of them today
    - no junk food for 3 days... that's so hard but I will try one today and try and coincide those days.
    - 2 low carb days... I plan on attempting that as well
-burning 3000 calories... I will really try my best ladies
    - drink gallons... No problem!

I have to leave to go see my husbands grandmother who is dying. We are leaving Thursday and will be on the road for 1 1/2 days... that mean no exercises besides butt clenches and toning my arms. Huh so not looking forward to being in a car ON Thanksgiving and driving forever. I hate being stuck in a vehicle for so long. Traveling is really going to mess me up on calories. Huh any suggestions welcome please ladies. We are only saying for half a day and maybe a day at the most and heading back so I have at least 3 days in a vehicle. Blahhhhh

So sorry to hear your sad news, :flowerforyou: As far as the travel, just try MOVING when you can. Walk, walk walk - whenever and wherever you can. That's about the best you can do when on a road trip.

I am going to go ahead and make up my own mini challenge for today (want to get it done before I head out) 100 step ups 50 lunges 50 squats 50 jumping jacks.

I can't believe we have 33 day's left until Xmas I have been doing well with the exercise portion and I thought I was doing pretty well with the food part (normally) but I am going to have to try harder if I want to reach my goal by Xmas. I want to fit into my target jeans...so if I lose inches & not pounds I am ok with that but I will keep trying to get rid of these last 5lbs ! I realized I had to make a decision....do I want to lose or tone? Honestly, I 'd really like both lol but I choose to tone/lose inches and any loss in pounds will be great !

I hope that you all have a fantastic Monday...make it count

Hi everyone! I won't really be logging in for the next week - in NY for vacation :) We walk for about 6 hrs minus eating, so I'm being kind of easy on that. I figure that its ok since I probably won't come here for a long time, and there's so much to experience! I won't be able to log much besides breakfast until Saturday, and my calf's better so I can run again. You're all doing fantastic!

    See you next week :flowerforyou:

  • In a challenge I was part one of the motivations was to wrap up an article of clothing 1-2 sizes small and put it under the tree! Gonna wrap up some skinnies and a cute sweater; if I lost weight I would buy them anyway, but now I'll push myself to get into them so I have a fab outfit for xmas day. You can even do it to old clothes, but I just thought it would be a nice boost! :) x

Love this idea! I brought myself a new jumpsuit for my holiday, it's slightly tight + my muffin top makes an appearance :p
so hopefully it will fit perfect, 32 days to go :-D

Hi - Just wanted everyone to know that I plan to weigh in on Thursday morning this week, instead of Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving here. Hope that's OK. Also, I haven't updated the spreadsheet because for some reason I can't access it from my work computer, and I keep forgetting when I am at home. I'll try to remember tonight.

Just checking in...it has been a little bit since I have done so. I hope that everyone is doing well, I haven't been doing a great job with the mini challenge just getting my daily exercise done but I will do better next week with it. I plan to add 100Jjacks 100 crunches to my exercise daily starting Dec 1st (got idea from a MFP friend). Christmas is quickly approaching and I still have these last 4 pounds to lose...hopefully I can do it so tired off seeing the scale go down them up...would love to lose the last 4lbs and then maintain that is my Xmas wish

You know what stinks? I am having a big Thanksgiving dinner later today. I know that it will be relatively healthy - me and my two sisters will do our best to make lighter versions of the family favorites. I will will TRY to make good choices - only sampling the things I love and don't have very often. But even so, with a couple of drinks, the dinner, and pie for dessert, I'll probably be up two pounds tomorrow.

I am the biggest advocate of "you gotta live", so I am going to go and enjoy every minute of it, and I am not going to lose control and binge, but still....it IS frustrating. :grumble: Know what I mean????

You are the one who normally helps me get over the guilt I feel after making not so good food choices  I say ENJOY it is not like you eat like this everyday. If you go over you go over...tomorrow is a new day
