I am ready to start tonight and my husband is going to join in. Should be interesting. On a positive note, I wore a pair my skinny jeans this weekend and there was no muffin top! Whoop whoop! Of course with it being Octoberfest weekend, I drank a ton of beer and ate a bunch of junk. I stepped on the scale this morning to see how much damage I had done and low and behold, I was down a pound. Great way to start the week!

    Happy shredding everyone.

YAY! That's the best! I still have muffin top, but at least I can button them up. lol. Maybe the loss has something to do with this whole "starvation mode" that MFP refers to? Maybe your body needed the extra calories? I have hit a brick wall with my weight loss, so did some research on it and am trying hard to eat back at least half of my exercise calories. It's terrifying because I'm often adding in food when I'm not hungry. Really hoping that it will shake things up though and I will start to lose some weight again.

  • Ok ,so, I only done day 1 (L1) this morning. My husband decided to do it with me, yah! Almost died, but it was great! Looking forward to VERY good results, because I will be working real HARD!

L1 Day 5 done and the energy levels were a bit low today, but I didn't sleep very well last night. I feel as if my weight is completely stagnating at the moment and I'm frustrated because I'm being so good. Just praying that this round of the Shred is the kick my body needs to start losing weight again. I am definitely stronger and fitter though.

Still struggling with the whole "eating back your calories" thing, but I'm hoping that this is reason for my plateau.

Don't worry guys, the pain eases up by Day 5 :) I've just finished Day 6. Felt good today except that I feel as though I've eaten and eaten and eaten today.

Day 3 complete. Must admit I was quite sore today but if I remember correctly, day 4 is where I started feeling like I could handle Jillian and her cruelty (at least in level 1). ;)

L1 Day 7 done. I'm excited that the days are ticking by so "quickly", but I'm dreading L2 a bit. It's nasty. He he. Oh well, like all of them, they go quite quickly and from Day 4 things start to get a bit more manageable.

Glad to hear everyone's sticking to it! It's totally worth it, I promise!

Just heard my in-laws have decided to come and stay with us for the weekend. Oh well, they'll have to move around me while I do my mins. Not missing a day this time round, that's for sure!

Day 5 done! Almost didn't do it but glad I went ahead. It's hard to not do it and not feel guilty considering it only takes less than 30 minutes.

I know! It's the perfect workout because you really can't justify not just getting up and doing it when it's so quick. Love that.

I have to wait for this afternoon to get mine in because I have a full house this morning, but nothing is going to stop me from getting it done.

L1 Day 9 done :) I'm nervous and excited about moving onto Level 2. I remember how much I hated it, but I'm excited to tick off the days and oh so grateful to have finally broken through my weight barrier. Here's hoping that I lose again next week and don't go another 6 weeks without losing anything.
