I realized that I am not in the retirement mode yet. I am doing too much and paying for it with my back.
I have to spread out my work for the week around the house. I have always been the type to
do things quickly to be free for the weekend. No need to do that now.
Yesterday was a bad day but feeling better today with taking some muscle relaxers for my back.
Definitely have to make some changes.0 -

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Fri NROL, Sat Major amount of moving wood. Our Bible study group chopped down 4 trees and we cleared brush and stacked wood for 45 hours. I haven't worked that hard in a long time. :flowerforyou: NSV! -made me glad to be in better shape!
What would I have done differently? Ate a lot less prime Rib at the dinner party. Super interesting tasting theme - Honey. Loved that!
What is today's personal goals? Stop eating now that I am still under on calories. Just a salad tonight. Going to have to work yesterdays calories off a bit more!

Well, I will be gone for a week. I get to go with my son's senior class for a service trip to an orphanage in Guatemala. Super excited to return and see the children. I went 2 years ago with my daughter's class. Lots of stair climbing at high elevation. Curious if I will notice a difference in my stamina!

It was nice to take a mental break from all of this. I've really been beating myself up.
