When guys yell out the car and honk the horn at you..

If this was done to you, how would you feel?

I've heard countless people say it's trashy to enjoy that kind of thing, and not that it's ever happened to ME personally, but hell, I'd be flattered.

Well, I don't think I'd really like it too much if it were guys yelling out, but if If it were women I'd feel really flattered, lol

So this. Whistles, ok. If I don't hear it, but the sentiment sounds ok, ok.

NOT, the guy who waggled his tongue at me the other day
But if he'd been hot, then, maybe ok

It's really annoying and embarrassing. I usually try to pretend like I didn't hear them.

I absolutely despise it. I don't find it at all flattering, I think it's obnoxious and I hate the idea that just because I'm walking down the street, I'm open to be yelled at :/

Yeah, probably not politically correct to be flattered, but I admit I get a big grin and strut a little when it happens. If it is really rude, though, I always mouth off back about how I'd break them in half because they aren't man enough to be able to keep up with me.

This usually happens to me when I take out someone's side view mirror splitting lanes on my motorcycle.

    How rude of them.

This has happened to me on numerous occasions and I generally curse and flip them off. There was one time I cried because I thought I was going to be tied in the back of a van and taken to Mexico! Creepy old men! Wtf!

It's funny that you posted this. This evening I was out watering the yard. I bent over to hook the hose up and I hear WOOTS and a honk.....seriously, I could be their Mother....

But yea, I was flattered.

Some guy honked today then 2 guys were driving passed and yelled "YEAH!" I don't like being yelled at and I think it's rude.

Haha my friends and I were out clubbing and we caught a late showing of "The Lucky One" and while waiting for the light to turn green (we were walking) this car full of guys pulled up and the shotgun rolled down the window and said "hey ladies" in this smooth voice. We were all so drunk like 5 of us at the same time were like "haaaaaayyy" ha ha. I guess it just depends on the situation. Now if I were by myself and a truck full of obnoxious guys in broad daylight honked and shouted out the window at me, I'd be completely turned off and unflattered.

If it was just a whistle or something like that it wouldn't bother me, would probably take it as a compliment... but the last time this happened the guy screamed "Nice Tits" very loudly (glad I didn't have my kids with me) I found it to be pretty rude.

It makes me feel very conflicted, haha. Part of me thinks it's annoying and kind of gross, but the other part of me (my inner attention hog) is always flattered. I'm 50/50 on this one.

I hate it. I always think they're either making fun of me or my boobs are out of control. Makes me feel really self conscious.

This has happened to me... had to walk home 3 miles from the gym in 100 degree weather so I took my shirt off. Wound up stopping traffic. lol I chose to ignore the childish/immature part of it and take it as a compliment that they thought I was worth the fuss.

How about when a cute girl walks by somewhere in public, but not a social scene like a bar or club, and I say "Hello, how are you?"

It's worked for me a few times, but I usually never try.

I seriously always wonder whether that is ok or it is rude to bother people.

Never happened to me but I would probably look behind me to try and see what they were really honking at. I mean a hot chick has to be standing near me, that stuff doesn't happen to me!

I hate it! Ahh I live in a small town, so I run at night so people can't tell who I am. I feel really awkward when people see me/ yell at me when I'm running.

If that ever happened to me, I would blush profusely and be secretly grateful.

No one *ever* looks at me in real life.

Usually roll eyes/ignore, unless they say something clever. Then I laugh and ignore.

I have had way too many experiences where some one will call out to you from a car or across the street and then curse you out because you aren't running over to talk to them, accusing you of being "uppity" or a "b***" or a "man-hater."
