I'm in! 24 here and my goal is 63 lbs to lose. This puts me from 193 to 130! I'm also 5'10, so I might be going a little hard on myself. Ah well. We should get something going, like a weekly weigh in or something? Maybe weekly-weigh in -wednesdays? WWW...haha just an idea.0

Ah Welcome Ladies! We have weekly weigh ins on Fridays. So today! Feel free to post it anytime. Our Challenge for the week is to chew each mouthful 30 times, I am failing miserably at this. I can't remember. So Hopefully at dinner! Good luck ladies!0

Awesome! I'll definitely have to try harder at chewing 30 times! I think I'll have the same problem... actually remembering to do that! But, I'll work hard at that! My current weight is 125 lbs. and I'm trying hard to get down to 110 lbs. by mid-January. I almost feel like I won't be able to make it! I'm trying to lose that last few pounds so I can look good for my brother's wedding that is coming up in March. The reason why I have to lose the weight by mid-January is because I'm a bridesmaid and our dresses have to be altered by then. Yikes!! Think I can do it ladies? That's about 5-6 weeks!! :frown: If I can get around 110 -- such as 112 or 113, that will be fine because not much altering will need to be done for 2-3 pounds. Man... I need all the encouragement and help I can get between now and then!!0

Ah totally do able. Just stay strong! The wedding I am in is in May. and Its gonna be a rough road. But thank goodness my grandmother is an amazing seamstress, so I can keep loosing as long as she puts up with me. haha. I will need to work on a new addiction that is getting on here. MFP is now my second facebook and hot helping me get done with my homework!0

Not sure what your workouts are, but try 30 day shred. I'm sure that'll help you acheive your goal weight by Jan.
Weighed in this morning at 195.5 (guessing .5 since the scale kept flipping between 195 and 196). Not sure if I can chew my food 30 times, but I'll sure try! I have the bad habit of inhaling my food and stopping after I'm stuffed... which I know helped get me to my highest weight of 219 >.<0 -

How did your days go?
Mine started out good as i did our challenge for breakfast then forgot about it every other meal. I totally over did it at lunch today as well. Dang sorority houses and all the greasy food! the Hamburger was just too good looking to turn down. I went over, but i've exercised more today than i have in sooo long it felt great!

I am 22 and would love to join. My weight yesterday was 136.2. My next mini goal is 135 but my overall goal is 120. I am getting married in May 2010 and would really love not to put on a size 16 dress that day.

My first goal is to get down to 150 and see from there what makes the most for my 5'3" frame. My most fit during college was around 145-150 palying two sports.

Didn't get to post yesterday. I weighed in at 140!! But I ate alot today hehe. I chewed 30 times though! Its so hard to thing about because I usually eat really fast.
I saw someone on the blogg is doing PX90...I've heard about that but have no idea what it is. Details please0 -
Also, I got a tape measurer today and I am going to start tracking my measurements!0

Great Job Meg! I still haven't gotten the chewing thing down. I'm usually watching tv when i eat and it distracts me. lol I have no idea what that work out plan is about but i am also curious. I got the Core Rhythms work out dvds oh like a year ago. and I haven't kept up with them but i did the full workout today and my abs kill! But i ate mac and cheese which negated all of those calories burned haha. But i still came out even so its all good.0

The P90X workout is seven different workouts each 60minutes long focusing on different parts of your body. I did the core one with my boyfriend and we were both dying by far the hardest workout i've ever done we did 45min of it bc our son woke up before we could finish and when we got him back to sleep we couldn't even stand up to finish and im athletic and he is really athletic so it deffintly kicks your butt. I highly recomend it, i havn't done the other ones yet but tomorrow night im ganna do the legs and back and i'll let you know how that one is.0

sweet, sounds good. I have done Jillian Micheals 30 day shred and loved it. I'm going to start it again january 1 to jumpstart my year. Its good when you are in a time crunch because its only about 25 minutes, but you dont have a rest day which is what got hard for me.0

Hey Guys! Well I failed in the chewing 30 times thing.. I was out of town all weekend coaching at the vb tourney, we did really well! We celebrated last night and I ate too much dessert, I feel kind of sick today! O well, I'll back at it today. I'm going to do spin class in the morning I think or go for a run, we'll see, hope you guys have a great sunday..

This Challenge is crazy! I never ever remember! lol. Like maybe halfway through eating. I also don't ever actually make it to 30, usually 15. Its fine though!
I think we should all start checking in at least once a day to update and get to know each other.
Today has been a pretty bad day for me, Sundays always are. As there is way to much to snack on at church while i'm working in the nursery. Animal crackers are my arch rival. lol0 -
Hey well today has been such a busy day for me had to work 3 to 10 where i waitress at a mexican restraunt where im surrounded by food, but i was good and ate healthy i actually havn't cheated in the slightest bit since finding this site but that was only like 5 days ago but still this is the longest ive lasted. Tomorrow is my works christmas party all the food and desserts you want im pretty nervous i don't want to cheat im staying away from the dessert table for sure!!Well hope everyone is doing good!0

I could never work there! Mexican food is my weakness! Its deffintly my weakness too!! I could honestly eat there every day of the week if I wouldnt gain any weight by it, but ya i have been able to remember to chew as much as i can and i'll hopefully remember tonight. I'm just hoping they have a salad bar the last 2 yrs b4 this the christmas party was insane with every type of food and dessert you could think of and i deffintly ate it.haha.But not this time!Im also ganna make sure i stay low on my calories during the day just in case there is nothing healthy.0

Hey Ladies,
This chewing thing was tough today. Completely forgot with dinner, attempted at lunch but didnt get past 15 much.
Day 2 of drinking only coffee and water.... and it sucks! I never realized how much i love soda... all i can think of right now is the delicious Dr. Pepper sitting in my fridge.

The chewing still isn't going good. I honestly never make it past 20 at the most. That is when i do remember. I didn't enter in any of my food today. Just to busy with class.
Ah no soda! I have come down off of caffeine highs a few times. I get a migraine for about two weeks. but since you are still drinking coffee, you're fine. lol
I didn't work out yesterday, So i'm about to take a break from studying and work out for a while tonight.0 -

Sooo I really need to go to the grocery store, I barely ate anything today, I just had a sandwich from panera so thats good but I don't like to go out too much... I CANNOT remember to chew that many times lol I'm doing it right now since I just read everyone's post... I'm going to spin class in the morning, hopefully it won't be full! It was soooo cold here today, I rode my bike to school and just about died! It was like 40 degrees, and thats COLD in cali! Have a great day tomorrow everyone

So as I have been doing horrible at eating, I have been exercising and I know I shouldn't go crazy with the scale but i'm sliding down. I always forget how amazing exercising feels and how much that helps you loose weight. My wii fit told me its concerned about me loosing weight so fast, I wish i could tell it that That happens when you get off the flippin couch. lol.
Ah girl, I feel you. Fast food is sooo convenient on campus and I live quite a ways off. The shopping is kind of a pain, things seem to go to waste at my house because we don't eat it fast enough, then the next time when we get less we run out in like two days. Its just a battle you can't win haha.
I hope all of you lovely ladies aren't too stressed out with finals (if your are still in school). Mine start friday. I am sooo ready for the semester to be over.
