Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a spin and then Cathe’s live class from today which was Yoga and Mobility Stretch. While this was a great Live workout, I kind of was hoping to see some new ‘moves’ that would give a hint to the new recovery workouts, but this class today was pretty much in line with the Perfect 30 Flow workouts. But it was good.

Thelma, great workouts. I am sorry to hear about your MRI though. Hopefully they can get that sorted out because that doesn’t seem quite right. Hope you are warming up today. We are back to sunshine and warmer temps for a few days again. It is a beautiful autumn day today for sure.

Laurie, great workout. I remember the drive from just north of Nashville to Lake Geneva for the Road Trip was pretty doable. But I am glad we did the 120 miles from here through Nashville the night before. I realized on our trip to Missouri this year (which was 700 miles) that I am really good in the car for between 500-600 miles. :D I remember somewhere between St. Louis and Kansas City MO on that trip just wanting it to be done and seeing we still had 200 miles to go. :| Don’t know that we will do that again straight through.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were Sculpt and Flow Yoga, Walking Outdoors and KCM 30MTF Muscle Up Lift 2B Fit Legs/Glutes and Arms. The yoga class was new to me, it was a little challenging, but I loved it. There were lots of chaturangas, planks, abs and a little bit of legs and glutes. My abs definitely felt the class.

We had a beautiful day today. It was warm and sunny.

    Laurie, great workout!

I hope my doctor is able to convince the insurance that the MRI is needed.

Laurel, great workouts! That yoga and mobility stretch class sounds wonderful!

My friend who is undergoing cancer treatment also has Blue Cross and they made her see a neurologist in order to get an MRI. I have the feeling I may have to do the same thing. It's insane that they don't tell the doctor why they denied the MRI though.

We also warmed up here thankfully! It was a gorgeous day.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was P30 Perfect Flow Yoga Strength & Flexibility. Felt like working out with Cathe this morning, and it was very nice.

This weekend is going to be busy. We have the baby shower tomorrow. I have it all set up at a local Mexican restaurant. Makes it way less stressful than having it at our house.

Laurel, Great job with those workouts! I guess that we where in the same mindset with the Cathe yoga flow. :D Hopefully Cathe will make another live workout that will be more toward the newer recovery workouts. :) Oh my, I don't know that I would be able to do 700 miles. My DH isn't a good driver, he gets tired. So I don't rest when I'm a passenger, because of that. I can drive and drive, but only for about 8-9 hours. I can only imagine what the last 200 miles was like. ;)

Thelma, Very nice workouts! Glad to hear that you had a nice day. One of my coworkers has to have an MRI. He has been having issues with his neck. He has been doing the move your whole upper body, just to see to the side.

    Have a great weekend,

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Cathe’s Push/Pull workout from her Body Blast series followed by Rockout Knockout. I needed a little kickboxing in my world today. :)

Thelma, great workouts. The yoga sounds fantastic. I hope that you get an answer on the MRI soon. Your poor friend dealing with something like that while having cancer just makes me so sad. Hopefully you don’t have to go see another doctor to get your appointment. I just went out to feed the birds and, while it is truly lovely, it is breezy enough that leaves are falling like snowflakes out there. It is officially leaf raking season in Alabama. :D

Laurie, great choice of a workout! I hope Cathe does a live class with the foam roller or using that new balance disc that I don’t know if I need or not. :) I never sleep when I am a passenger either. If I am driving and DH is in the car….he’s out like a light. But I can’t do the same in return. I can drive for longer durations than ride anymore. But DH prefers to do most of the driving on our trips. He hates being a passenger, which, I suppose, may be why he opts to go to sleep when he is. :) I hope everything goes well with the baby shower this weekend! What a special time.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ladies, I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was nice and actually got to relax a little this weekend. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the foliage across the valley and the mountains. There are shades of red everywhere.

My workouts on Friday were Walking Outdoors and KCM 30MTF Muscle Up Lift 2B Fit Back, Chest, Shoulders.
    Saturday: walking.
Sunday: Walking Outdoors and KCM 30MTF Circuit Burn, Stretching.

    Laurie, great workout!

What a great idea to have the baby shower set up at a restaurant!! I hope everything went well!

Sounds like your coworker has a big issue with his neck!

    Laurel, fantastic workouts!

I found out why the MRI was denied. They claim I didn't have enough time in treatment yet and that there was no surgery programmed. The MRI is needed to see what's wrong before the doctor determines if surgery is needed.
it really is sad what a person with cancer is put through by the insurance companies.

It's definitely raining leaves! DH spent about two hours blowing leaves on Saturday, by Sunday the entire place was full of leaves.
We finally got some rain tonight!

    Have a great week!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was nice. Saturday was a beautiful day and we spent a part of the day raking leaves. This first go around wasn’t too bad because the leaves were dry. But, of course, we got rain all day yesterday. So the yard has even more leaves in it now and they are wet. Oh well. But at least we got the winter guard fertilizer down in between those two events, so that was good. Yesterday was murky all day, but we did get a nice walk in between rain showers. Other than that, it was a pretty quiet day.

For workouts, on Saturday I did a Jessica Smith walk and yoga. Yesterday was a 30 minute spin and Lean Legs and Abs. And today was Pure Strength Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, Cathe Live Ready, Set, Step and 30 minutes of Peloton Pilates.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you were able to enjoy your autumn colors this weekend. One of the things we have noticed this year is we have more deep red color this year than we have ever seen here. Truly, it is one of the prettiest autumns for color we have had in Huntsville. But I think in a week it will be mostly over. Well, I am glad you have an answer about your MRI, but it doesn’t really make sense….especially the part about surgery. How would they even know if you needed surgery unless you had an MRI? And, honestly, I could argue that the PT would be most effective if they knew of any issues from an MRI before treating you as well. I will never understand the healthcare system. It should never be this hard.

Laurie, I hope all went well this weekend!

    Happy Halloween. See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies! My workouts on Monday were Walking Outdoors, YinYasa Yoga and KCM 30MTF Slim Sculpting I.

Laurel, great workouts! It sounds like you got more rain than we did!

The deep reds have been amazing this year. I also feel that the leaves have stayed on the trees a lot longer. I agree with you that in a week it all will be gone.

I hope my nurse practitioner will have better luck getting my MRI approved the second time around.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

Busy day yesterday, so sorry that I wasn't online. The baby shower went off without a hitch, and dd received lots of cloth's for the little one. I have a pic of the quilt I made, so I will try to get that posted below. My mom, sister and niece came down and stayed with us overnight. It was really nice to have them at the party. My mom knitted a really nice sweater set. <3 We had trick-or-treating on Saturday evening, and we had a lot of kids. Apparently we also had someone going through cars in our neighborhood on Sunday, and some people had things taken from their vehicles. One guy had his bow stolen, because he had been hunting.

My workouts where ~ nothing on Saturday, gee I wonder why. :D Sunday was CG's Day 13 Glutes, Back & Hamstrings. Yesterday was 30MTF Cardio Fit Workout 1, and this morning was Day 14 Full Body.

Laurel, Of course an awesome job with all the workouts! We only have one tree that still has leaves on it, and it just now is starting to turn. It is a fruitless pear tree, but I notice that it has very tiny fruit on it. I feel for you with all those wet leaves, that isn't fun. Glad that you where able to get in a walk between the rain. I was super happy that we had some nice weather this last weekend. With that snow coming so early, I was a little afraid that my mom wouldn't be able to make it. We had perfect weather though.

Thelma, Great job with those workouts! Very nice that you could sit outside and enjoy the beauty of fall. Sounds like your weekend weather was a lot like ours. Crossing my fingers that your MRI will get approved. Interesting why they denied the MRI. I guess that insurance companies know more about a patient than the doctor does. :o NOT!! Everyone seemed to enjoy being at the restaurant, and it sure made clean up a lot easier. ;)

    Almost forgot the pic

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 30 minute spin, Pure Strength Strong Legs and Abs and 30 minutes of Peloton yoga. It all felt good today.

Thelma, great workouts. I hope you have better luck with this next attempt to get an MRI. How have your legs and back been feeling? You seem to be doing awesome with the workouts, so I am hoping you are doing better.

Laurie, great workouts! And I LOVE the quilt! I think I have mentioned I have a slight obsession with elephants, and that pattern is just too cute. When you retire, I will hire you to make one for me. :D I am so glad the shower went well and your mom, sister and niece were able to attend. I bet that was so special for your mom. I am sorry to hear about the car break ins though. Hopefully it doesn’t become a recurring thing. We had our trick-or-treaters last night and we had a nice number of kids. It was fun this year.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts were light today because I had a bad hip day. I hadn't had one this bad in a while. I did a couple of walking sessions because I had to keep moving. One session was more like a shuffle when I was in pain and my left leg just felt weak. I think this was definitely the sciatica acting up. Hopefully Wednesday will be a better day. I also did a Jessica Smith Barefoot Fusion workout.

We were expecting temps in the low 70's this week but that never happened. Temps are in the 60's during the day and it feels like fall. Amazingly there's still a lot of colorful foliage left around here.

Halloween was quiet as where I live is super dark and we really don't have sidewalks or neighbors with kids. Downtown BR closes the roads to create a safe area for the local children to trick or treat. All the stores decorate and give out candy. We didn't go but people posted pictures on FB and there were a lot of people there.

Laurie, I am so glad the baby shower went so well and how special that your mom, sister and niece could attend!
Oh my gosh Laurie, that quilt is absolutely gorgeous and sweet! I love the elephants! My grandmother used to collect elephants with the trunk pointing upwards just like the ones on the quilt. She believed that it was good luck. Your daughter looks beautiful!
I bet the sweater set your mom knitted for the baby is beautiful too!

Sorry about the theft around your neighborhood. There's a lot of that going around here too. People are used to leaving houses and cars unlocked. Not me! I'm always locking every door! I do this because of where I grew up though. Older locals don't even lock their doors at night! CRAZY!

Great workouts! You get a pass on Saturday! LOL

God knows how long the MRI appeal process will take. I hope it gets approved too.

    Laurel, great workouts!

I had been doing pretty good with my workouts but I spent more time sitting down on the weekend than I'd have been lately, so it irritated the piriformis and that caused the sciatica to be squeezed or something. Thank you for asking!

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was P30 Perfect HiiT Low Impact HiiT. :)

Laurel, Oh the PS workouts! I'm glad to hear that you are doing them. Those are next on my list after these CG workouts. Great job with all your workouts! Thanks for the kudos on the quilt. My oldest is a huge fan of elephants also. When I saw this pattern, I had to make it for her and the baby. She did get a little teary, so I did my job. :D I was impressed with some of the great costumes that these kids had. That is one of the things that I really enjoy about trick-or-treat.

Thelma, Awesome job with what you where able to accomplish with your workouts. You kept yourself moving, and that is important. What a great way to do the trick-or-treat. Our neighborhood isn't in a high traffic area, and most of the kids get transported in wagons pulled by lawn mowers. Someone even had fireworks at the end of the event. They really went all out this year, so it was nice to have some great weather. We did have temps in the 70's yesterday, and it is suppose to be that way today. We then go back into the colder temps for the weekend.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Pure Strength Back, Biceps and Abs, Cathe Live Love Me Some Cardio Kickboxing and 30 minutes of yoga focused on balance. So far the yoga three times a week is working! I am really enjoying it.

Thelma, I am sorry you were having a bad hip day yesterday. Hopefully taking it a bit easier helped. Our weather is definitely not autumn-ish right now with highs in the 70s and 80s for the next several days. I think this winter will be just like last winter when we had 80 degree days up to the New Year. It doesn’t put me in the mood for upcoming holidays, but I am not minding it too much. I just wish we were getting cooler nights, but our nights are in the 50s and 60s right now.

Laurie, great workout. I have absolutely loved doing these Pure Strength workouts again. It is easy to forget just how good these workouts are. I love that you were able to surprise and please your daughter with that quilt. I imagine that will become an heirloom in her family.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were Gentle Flow Yoga, Walking Outdoors and Jessica Smith Split Session Strength-Upper Body. I had to keep things light because my back was starting to bother me.
I took a muscle relaxer on Tuesday night not knowing if it would help but it did! It started work fairly quickly. I felt great on Wednesday for most of the day, but in the afternoon my back started to act up. Thankfully it didn't get bad.

Thursday will be a long day. We are going to Canton the town where the good doctors are in for my dermatology appointment. My rheumatologist wants me to have a dermatologist check my skin once a year because my RA med can make prone to skin cancer. We will hit Publix while we're there.

We had a pretty cloudy and warm day. I loved it!

Laurie, I love that workout! Good job!

Awww! I'm so glad your DD lover her baby's quilt!
I love the way your neighborhood celebrates Halloween!

Our temps have been in the 60's during the day and 50's at night. Our current forecast says we'll have temps in the low 70's the next 10 days, but temps will drop into the low 40's, high 30's at night.

Laurel, great workouts! I am glad you're enjoying doing yoga three times a week! It is so good for you!

I didn't think a muscle relaxer would help my hip pain, so that idea was quickly forgotten until late Tuesday night. Thankfully it helped. I hate taking those things and that I wasn't able to work the pain out myself.
You are really having warm temps! I really don't mind the warmer fall temps. We will have low temps at night starting next week, so hopefully you will too!

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was CG's Day 15 Shoulders.

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! I really like the title of the live workout. :) Glad to hear that the three times a week yoga is working. I always forget that the PS workouts are really not that lengthy. Of course I may do a different warm up, because the ones on the workout are not fun to me. I think that is probably what makes me pass over them. I know that I can find a warm up to do that will be better, and them move into the PS work.

Thelma, Glad that you where able to get in a workout. I had to take muscle relaxers once when I had a stiff neck. It did help a bunch, probably because we anticipate that will may have pain moving a certain way, so we tense up. Enjoy your trip, and hope that all goes well with the doctor.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin followed by Cathe Live To The Mat: Legs, Glutes and Core. And I see some raking in my future this afternoon. :)

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad the muscle relaxant helped. I, generally, don’t like taking pills like that either, but when they work, they are worth it. I hope your appointment goes well today. Enjoy Publix!

Laurie, great workout. The cool thing about Love Me Some Cardio Kickboxing is not only is the title fun (and accurate), but it is a super fun workout. It always makes me smile. :) I don’t mind the warm ups for the Pure Strength Upper Body workouts, but the lower body warm up seems to go on forever. Cathe has definitely gotten better on her strength training warm ups than she was back in the day of Pure Strength and Max Intensity Strength. Thankfully. B)

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! My workouts on Thursday were Jessica Smith Split Session Strength-Lower Body and Walking Outdoors.

Our trip to Canton was much shorter than we expected, which was great. My new dermatologist was very nice and thorough. She found one mole on my right arm that she said we needed to keep an eye on. I am pretty sure I've had it forever. The doctor told me that due to the meds I take I have to wear sunscreen, sun shirts and hats all the time. This is not news to me. I've known this since 2010 but became careless here in GA. I'm back at covering up and wearing hats. I hate the hats and sun shirts but they're necessary.

DH's birthday is on Saturday, so we'll be going out to NC for dinner today.

Laurie, great job with CG's workouts! Did you get heavier weights yet?

As much as I hated taking the muscle relaxer, I was glad it actually helped.

Laurel, great workouts! That Cathe Live class sounds wonderful! I've been raking a little bit around the coop area. The trees by the coop decided to drop their leaves when it rained the other day. Raking wasn't good for my back, but it was driving me crazy to have to walk on those piles of leaves to get to the coop. I've read that the snakes like to hide under those piles and although I've never seen one, I don't want to give them a hiding place either.

Taking the muscle relaxer was definitely worth it. I'm glad my rheumatology prescribed them just in case I needed them!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was Day 16 Hamstrings. Love just working these single body parts. This weekend is going to be a quiet one, so hopefully I will get more sewing done.

Laurel, Nice workouts! So now I know what you will be doing this weekend. We have no leaves on trees anymore. I think that back when Cathe made those workouts, everyone was making those long drawn out warm ups. Then when they started to get shorter, people actually complained. I love the short but effective warm ups. :) The other thing about some of those older workouts was the amount of space that the workout use. :D

Thelma, Great workouts! Glad to hear that the trip was shorter than expected. The have a lot of clothing for the sun. I always wear a hat, and this year found a really nice one that has the UV blocker. My youngest brother has had melanoma, so I usually take extra care because of that. I have not bought the heavier weights yet, but I know that I need to. I'm making sure that I use some cushion with my bar, so that has been working fairly well so far.

    Have a great weekend!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Maximum Intensity Strength followed by Cathe Live Low Impact Cardio HiiT. The strength training workout was my first ever Cathe strength workout way back 23+ years ago…..and it is still one of my favorites. No crazy moves, not over repped, just solid strength training (and the most challenging biceps workout ever). Good stuff this week with these older workouts.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad your trip went well yesterday. Ever since we lived in Florida, I have a tendency to wear a hat in the sun these days. I find it is easier on my eyes with that bright sun. Thanks (not! :) ) for mentioning snakes in the leaves. :D I always wonder what I am going to find in the piles, but had never considered snakes before. :o I hope you have a nice time in NC at dinner this weekend!

Laurie, great workout. I think the thing that made me most excited about this new STS series is that Cathe did one body part workouts. I just love them. I prefer shorter 2-3 minute warm ups for strength training as well. I definitely don’t need a seven minute step routine like Cathe did for Max Intensity Strength. :D I ended up raking yesterday because we have a cold front coming through tonight/tomorrow. And I wanted to get some of the leaves picked up before the wind kicked up and the rain started falling. I have nine bags of leaves….and the wind kicked up this morning and the yard looks exactly like it did yesterday before raking. But, as DH said, it just means 9 less bags next time. We still have quite a few leaves in the trees, so I think we have a couple/few more weeks of raking. Hope you get lots of sewing in this weekend.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ladies, I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was busy and a bit stressful. One of our cats got sick due to some treats we got him. Poor thing was nauseous and couldn't hold his food down. I think it was food poisoning. The treats we've purchased since 2018 were reformulated and now they freeze dry the raw meat. We threw that stuff away and will never buy it again. He's back to normal thankfully.

The weather was great. We did get some much-needed rain on Saturday. DH was able to blow all the leaves so now I don't have to worry about snakes.

My workouts on Friday were Gentle Yoga, walking and KCM's Train Like a Contender.
    Saturday: Walking
Sunday: Walking and KCM's Body Design.

Laurie, great workouts! I hope you got a lot of sewing done. What are you working on now?

I am so glad there's plenty of sun blocking clothing available these days. I've been wearing a long sleeve sun shirt and hat outside.
I'm glad you're using a cushion for your barbell.

Laurel, great workouts! I can't believe you've been doing Cathe's workouts for over 23 years! She is such a good trainer.

You definitely spend a lot of time in the sun. Protect yourself well with sunblock too.
I there are 26 or some high number of snakes here in GA. People are always posting pictures of snakes they find in their properties. Some are good snakes but there are copperheads here. I am thankful I've never seen a snake here. DH saw a little one a while ago. I don't know what it was though. I bet you were really motivated to get rid of those leaves this weekend! LOL

We had a great dinner in NC and went furniture shopping on our way back home. The set that came with the house is a huge sectional and it's not comfortable. We believe it was made for tall people, so our backs never feel right. We found a recliner set at the first store we checked out.

The set we found is perfect for our height. I don't understand why they make the backs of sofas so short or leaning way back. We like a straight back. My back actually touched the back of the sofa! We didn't order it because we had to take measurements to see if it fit our space. Since it's just the two of us and we rarely entertain, we've decided to buy a sofa and two individual recliners. We'll free up some space and we know we'll use the furniture. The best part was that I loved the color. The lady called it mushroom, but I found it online and it's called putty. We need to find a charity to donate the set we have to. I have to call the places I know help people with furniture.

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

My weekend didn't go quite as planned. On Saturday I did get up and prepped some fabric for cutting. I do use starch on my fabric to help with sewing. After that was done, we went to brunch with our oldest and her guy. We then went to DH's Uncles, and DH took him to the eye doctor and I went to Hobby Lobby. We then went to the grocery store, mainly for his Uncle. We got home, and our power had been out since 2pm and wasn't expected to come on until 7pm. So we called up our youngest, and went out to dinner with her and her guy. So it was a bit of a weird day for us. Sunday was pure sewing. :D I'm never going to say I'm expecting a quiet weekend again. :D

For workouts I did Day 17 Upper Body on Saturday, Sunday Day 18 Glutes of the CG workouts. This morning I did RAW Athletic Stretch 2.

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! Now you have me thinking of that workout, because it really is a very good all over full body workout. Glad that you enjoyed revisiting it. That is a lot of leaves, and of course still having full trees. We had such nasty winds on Saturday, that we don't have anything in our yard as far as leaves go. :D That is the reason for the power outage also.

Thelma, Sorry to hear about your cat getting sick from a treat. It can be difficult to know if something will affect them or not. I have finally gotten Rocket on a diet that seems to agree with him, and of course that he likes. :D Awesome job with those workouts! I have a lot of projects that I'm working on. I just started a new one, and that is for my niece that is getting married in Oct '23. I have a lot of nieces and nephews, so making quilts for wedding is going to be ongoing. :D I also have a few other quilts that I work on periodically. I just finished a block of the month, and my youngest has claimed that one for her own. I just have to get it quilted, and I will probably send that one out like I did for the last one. I'm not a big lover of snakes, so glad that your DH blew those leaves away for you.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Mine was pretty quiet. DH had work to do up in Kansas City last week so he spent the weekend with his parents. He got home yesterday though. So on Saturday I did some chores and took advantage of a quiet weekend day by working on a puzzle and reading a book. It was a rainy, windy day, so it was a perfect day for it.

For workouts, on Saturday I did Jessica’s 5K Fast Walk and an hour of yoga. Yesterday was a 40 minute spin and Cathe Live Standing Legs. Today’s workout was RWH LIHI Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, Step Boss Step Sync and 30 minutes of core focused yoga. I had really planned on doing the Gym Style workouts this week but just couldn’t face all those push-ups this morning. :D Maybe next week. :)

Thelma, great workouts. I am sorry to hear about your sick kitty, but I am glad he is doing better. I am glad you enjoyed your time in NC. I so understand what you are saying about furniture these days. It is getting harder and harder for me to find furniture that, when I am sitting straight, my feet can touch the floor. So not good. DH and I are like you….we don’t entertain much anymore, so we have two love seats (which are recliners). They suit us well and will be easy enough to fit other houses when we decide to downsize. The yard is completely covered in leaves right now, but with rain both Saturday and yesterday (and some today), they will be there for a couple more days. We are supposed to be warm all week until Friday, so I will have plenty of opportunity to rake this week.

Laurie, great workouts. I am sorry your Saturday didn’t go as planned. Like you said, you probably jinxed yourself in saying your weekend would be quiet. But at least you got to see your family and got some chance to sew yesterday. One of the pluses for Max Intensity Strength is it is really easy to split it into two workouts. The lower body work (with the warm up) is only about 25 minutes long. The upper body work (without the warm but with the abs) is about 45 minutes long….but it is easy to ditch the Ab work. :D Not trying to encourage you, but it was really nice to revisit that workout. We still have miles to go with the leaves but the weird thing this year is that, aside from the one tree that dropped its nuts in August, we have virtually no nuts in the yard. Such a strange difference to last year, but one I will happily take.

    See you tomorrow.

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was Day 19 Full Body. That one was really a good one.

Laurel, Great job with your workouts! I don't blame you for not wanting to do those push ups. That is a lot, and they always are a dread to do. You make some valid points on MIS. I always tend to forget that the workout can be split like that. I have that one on DVD, but remember when it was just VHS. It was so difficult to split up the workouts when it was on that format. :D A 25 min. lower body workout is pretty good though. That one has the sit-n-stands in it if I remember correctly.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 30 minute spin into RWH LIHI Legs. I did the LIHI Legs premix that has the core work throughout. I love that premix. I also just got done raking. That’s 15 more bags of leaves done. I’m exhausted. :D

Laurie, great workout. The MIS legs section has squats, plié squats, deadlifts and back lunges including a set off the step. No sit-n-stands. Those were in Pure Strength. I think there is also a set in Leaner Legs. That is not my favorite exercise. B)

Off to rest my tired back. See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, looks like I forgot to hit the post button on Monday!

My workouts on Friday were Gentle Yoga, walking and KCM Train Like a Contender.
    Saturday-walking
    Sunday-walking and Circuit Burn I.
Monday-walking and KCM Circuit Burn II
    Tuesday-Walking and Lean Body Circuits

Laurie, your weekend was far from quiet! LOL. At least you got to spend time with your girls and get some sewing done!

    Great workouts!

Our kitty is back to normal and is back to being his piggy self. I'm glad you found a diet that agrees with Rocket's tummy. Dogs seem to have very delicate stomachs.
Sounds like you're going to be busy quilting for a long time. At least you love doing it.

Laurel, I'm glad you had a good weekend and that your DH made it home safely.
    Fantastic workouts!

Thankfully our kitty is back feeling good again.
I have the same problem with furniture about feet not being able to touch the floor. With our current furniture, my back can't touch the back of the sofa and my feet can't touch the floor. Getting the recliner sofa and individual recliners will suite our lives much better than a big sofa and a loveseat.
You had more rain than we did. Hopefully you've been able to make a dent on those leaves.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning's workout was 30MTF Body Training Workout1. I always enjoy this workout when I need a take it easy day. :)

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! Of course any workout that takes ab work, and mixes it into it is my kind of workout. Glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know what is in the MIS workout. I get all of them confused, and that is a really good exercise, but not one of my favorites. It's one of those moves that afterward, you have a hard time getting your legs to move in the right way. :D That is way to many bags of leaves! Good job getting that job done. Hope you don't have anymore after this.

Thelma, Awesome job with the workouts! Are you still enjoying Kelly's workouts? Nice that your kitty is doing great. I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off, I have a lot of vacation that I need to use up before the end of the year. DH said this morning, that he will leave me alone those two days. :D

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was RWH LIHI Back, Shoulders and Biceps, Cathe Live Cardio Boxing: Arms and Abs and yoga. My shoulders and back were feeling the raking from yesterday, and the LIHI workout made them scream a few times. :) But the boxing afterward seems to have helped. I wish I could say I was done with raking. DH looked out the window this morning and mentioned how many leaves had fallen over night. I just about threw my bowl of oatmeal at him. :D;) So I will be back at it probably Friday since it is supposed to be cold this weekend. But we’re getting closer to the end of the season.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad to hear your kitty is back to normal. I think we have a couple more weeks worth of leaves on the trees, but I think they will be slowing down sooner than that. With the weather so nice I haven’t minded being outside so much. We broke heat records both yesterday and Monday with the high yesterday being 84. :o But that is supposed to drop by 40 degrees come Sunday and then a few hours outside might not feel so good.

Laurie, great workout. Cathe has done quite a few workouts live lately that are perfect for days when I want less intensity (this morning’s boxing workout being one of them). It is so nice to have some of those to reach for these days for sure. I so agree about not being able to walk after sit-n-stands. :D Hope you enjoy your time off!!

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were Gentle Yoga, walking and KCM Lean Body Circuits II.

I can't wait for the rain to get here on Friday. We need it badly! There was a fire on a mountain here, but we couldn't see the smoke. A friend of mine lives on that mountain. Someone posted a video and the fire was right in her backyard. The firefighters where there putting the fire out. It burned 50 acres!

Laurie, great workout! Definitely a really good one.
I am totally loving Kelly's workouts! I love that they are 30-40 minutes including the warm-ups.
Have a wonderful long weekend! Too funny about your DH leaving you alone those days! LOL
My DH is also off on Friday.

Laurel, great workout combo! Laurel, you need a leaf blower! Too funny about wanting to throw your oatmeal bowl at your DH for his comment on the leaves! We are expecting rain from the hurricane on Friday and cold temps at night for the following week.
We still have some leaves on some trees, but the biggest culprits are pretty much done dropping their leaves. It was very warm here on Tuesday. The sun felt like summer sun.

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin and Kari Anderson’s Reach. Both felt great today. And I am going to go rake some more leaves because we are supposed to start getting rain tonight and then the temps drop for the weekend. So wish my back and shoulders luck! :D

Thelma, great workouts. I saw that the hurricane might pass right over you. Like you, we had a huge fire just south of us yesterday so I am hoping we get the rain they are predicting tonight. It is just so dry. The cooler temperatures will hopefully help as well. Fingers crossed you get some rain tomorrow.

My DH is off tomorrow as well so if I am not here, that is why.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were Sculpt and Flow Yoga and Walking Outdoors. The sculpting class was hard.

We finally got rain tonight! We needed this rain badly!

Laurel, great workouts! Good luck with your back and shoulders. I hope you were able to make a nice dent with the leaves.

Thankfully the hurricane is supposed to go east us, but we are getting some rain.

    Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Ladies, I hope you had a wonderful long weekend! Our weekend was very busy and by Sunday we were exhausted.
On Friday we ran errands and took a cat to the vet for a follow-up appointment. We spent time winterizing the coop all weekend. We think the girls will be warm now, although it's hard to keep the coop warm at night. I spent the entire afternoon on Sunday cooking. I made a huge batch of oatmeal in the crockpot for my friends and us. I also attempted to make homemade turkey sausage. It didn't taste like sausage because I didn't have fennel or marjoram. It was tasty though. I added the sausage to a marinara sauce to make two Spaghetti squash lasagnas, one for us and one for my friend who is fighting cancer. I made hers with cottage cheese and ours with ricotta cheese. These were new recipes to us, and we loved the results!

My workouts on Friday were Gentle Flow Yoga and walking.
    Saturday walking and stretching.
Sunday walking and S&S Ramped Up Upper Body #4 Triple Chest.

It's definitely cold here! Our temps at night are in the mid 20's. Monday will be the warmest day this week. Our high will be in the low 50's!

    Have a wonderful week!
